The staff - everyone from the valet to the concierge was exceptionally helpful and friendly

The bathroom walls were dirty :(. The pool water was a bit murky.

it’s a beautiful old hotel with old architecture charm. the old skeleton room keys still displayed behind the front desk, valet parking on site which was quite reasonable, the food in the restaurant was delicious! the staff in the kitchen allowed me to stay and wait for my wife who was getting a massage in the spa, even while they had to set up for lunch. it may seem like a small thing, but the coffee they serve is rich and delicious and we are total coffee snobs! my wife got a very relaxing massage at the spa. this place is phenomenal and I highly recommend it. it’s right in the middle of old Newport with all the beautiful old houses from the late 1700’s and 1800’s. simply beautiful!

the walls are a bit thin. we did have to hear our neighbors talking loudly for a while at night but it didn’t last too long. the shower took almost 4 minutes to warm up and the pressure wasn’t great. they had one of those rainfall shower heads.. the room was very hot even with the heat off. we asked the front desk for a fan and it was brought up right away.

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel is great walking distance to downtown. The rooftop bar has a great view and live music, and the rooms were so comfortable! Netflix is on the TV which was great for coming back to at night.

The bathrooms are very small, and very hard to brush your teeth in due to the sink and mirror being so close together. Also, for a hotel without its own parking, the valet service should be INCLUDED. :(

location was great. service was excellent.

overpriced. the room was nice but obvious stains in carpet, the bathroom exhaust fan sounded like a dying diesel tractor and the bathroom door knob came off. stayed for 2 nights and no one ever came to empty garbage, refresh towels or restock coffee area. spa is nice, not incredible and the spa prices are absurdly inflated.

The staff is fantastic! We feel so well cared for, and every time we stay we have an absolute blast! The amenities are great, and the overall aesthetic of the Hotel is fantastic!

I have noticed over the past few stays there are always a few key details that maintenance and housekeeping staff have missed. (due to short staffing or whatever the case) This time, our bathroom door didn’t latch. the striker plate is out of alignment with the door. And the tub had a big water stain. But otherwise, our stay is absolutely fantastic!

The room had 2 beds, tv, refrigerator and a desk. The toilet and shower were separate from the sink. This was a nice size room for 2 people. The location was perfect for shopping, dining and the wharf.

The information we received was that rooms would be cleaned every other day. Our room was not cleaned during our stay. There is a $40 charge per day to valet your car. Not sure if there were other options for parking.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for touring the waterfront or the mansions. Great restaurants in walking distance and a very nice roof bar at the hotel.

The parking fee is a bit high ($40 per night) knowing that there is free on street parking around the corner. The rooms are older and could use some upgrading, but overall it is a very nice hotel with a great staff.

The location was perfect. Easy walk to marina and all the shops and restaurants, but just far enough that you don’t have all the people around the hotel. Lobby and bar were very nice. Staff was extremely good with our dog, was our first trip with her and they made it very easy and accommodating.

We checked in Friday at about 3. we didn’t have room cleaned until Sunday after 5pm. I know everyone is green now but was a little long of a gap. We stayed from Friday - Monday and had room serviced once.

Room was clean. Location was convenient. Front desk staff was very friendly.

Front door staff didn’t help us get luggage inside, carried suitcase to top of steps and dropped them? Why not roll them into front desk with us? Market area needs more staff. Stood in line for 15 minutes for a cup of coffee. Not enough towels in the bathroom.

Great off season rate. Really great hotel. Nice room, very friendly staff. Has a nice indoor pool and gym. Spa excellent. Had really great treatment. Staff in spa very accommodating. Have a bar and restaurant. We had an excellent breakfast. (Not included in rate). You have to pay for valet parking. Parking is difficult in that area.

Bathroom is small. Toilet and shower/tub in small area. Sink and closet in other area. But the shower itself was strong. There is no luxurating in the bathroom. If bathroom important, dont stay in the Newport room. We used the spa. Which made up for small bathroom. Some may be off put to pay for parking. Just be aware you pay extra.
