Excellent Inn for those traveling with their fur babies ... even if you don't have fur babies, it is simply wonderful. Very gracious staff, beautiful Inn walking distance to all of the attractions on the water in downtown Newport. The room was large and the bed very comfortable and offered dishes for our fur baby. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious every morning in a well appointed breakfast room, on the porch or in your room. Staff was so very gracious and accommodating. We will definitely be back some time soon. Even the front porch rockers were wonderful. Parking is free also.

The location was absolutely perfect to access all that downtown Newport has to offer. The room was large and comfortable as well as clean. The staff accommodated an early check in and our stay included delicious breakfast sandwiches, coffee and hash-browns each morning. The included parking one block away was so helpful with checking in and out without hassle. We look forward to staying again.

Our room was I believe the only one without a fridge. I’m the future I would book a different room to accommodate our need for storing leftovers and drinks.

Excellent customer service from everyone we encountered. Friendly, able to answer questions or make recommendations, and thorough especially Serena. With regards to the property, we stayed in Rm 1, it was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I appreciate that it was also eco-friendly through the use of refillable bottles for shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel rather than individual small bottles. Also, appreciated the porch and lobby being clean and clear of clutter. The availability of the umbrellas and towels came in handy too. Breakfast was delicious! it’s nice having a hearty warm meal before starting your day.

My only recommendations would be; (not deal breakers by the way) - a firmer pillow option (pillows provided were very soft) - a small garbage can for the living room in Rm 1 - a diffuser option for the blow dryer for your curly haired customers

Great location, super clean. It was our honeymoon suite. Amazing breakfast. Comfortable beds! My dog was super happy. I would return. Pretty views, I loved the Ruff top deck I could bring up breakfast and enjoy with my pup.

The biggest issue was that it was a very warm week in October, which was great for our wedding! But we were on the top floor with no a/c or fans. Even with opening the windows it was very stuffy and hot. I went out and bought a fan so I could sleep. From the outside you could see some rooms had a/cs still in, I don’t know why we didn’t. Also the whole time (5 nights) the alarm was going off about smoke detectors in the basement. It was a little alarming with no explanation or a sign that something was out of order. The dog Murphy bed would fall in the middle of the night despite securing it, so we just left it down.

The location is amazing. Quiet, close to the park, and a parking space. At the same time within a walking distance from all Newport attractions and restaurants.

A bit more care had to be placed on making sure that entrance doors are properly locked. As with all old houses, the doors need to be pulled to be properly closed, some of the guests would not do it properly.

Paws on Pelham was so accommodating to my dog Archie! The location was just a few blocks from downtown, very easy walk. it was great because once my pup needed a break it was a short walk back to the hotel. There was a nice mini fridge in the room that stored a decent amount of things. very spacious room. Lisa and James were super friendly and nice!

The walls are paper thin, you could hear everything above you.

This newly renovated property is spectacular! Each room has unique canine charm. Impeccably, clean, rooms, equipped with Murphy’s dog beds, or special built-in, dog, hideouts, and dog bowls. The staff was fantastic. The location is in the middle of everything. Impeccably clean smells as fresh as a jasmine garden. Really exceeded my expectations.

The dog theme of the inn is spot on. Incredibly clean. We loved our room and the location. The lobby area is very cute with fun things to look at, a water station and plenty of maps etc.

Host was clearly spread too thin between multiple inns. Front desk was never attended and we were told to text if we needed anything. It was a forecasted stormy weekend at a dog hotel and when we reached out to the host for more towels for the dog after a muddy walk we were told to look for them ourselves and the two places we looked were empty. When we shared that, she basically told us we were SOL. So no towels and no place to wash your dog... at a dog hotel... Parking is also not ideal. It is not that we minded parking up the hill and a block away, we minded that we had to display our name and room number on our dashboard. This felt insecure and unnecessary.

it was absolutely gorgeous, just what we were looking for. Our room had a view of the water, the bed was comfortable, walking distance to everything, and loved seeing all the cute dogs. breakfast was good, in a cute little dining area in the basement, and the women serving were awesome!

we had nothing to complain about. we Will absolutely return.
