The rooms are so nice and spacious The staff is extremely friendly and helpful The breakfast spread is great and they put out fresh cookies and coffee in the middle of the day The location of this hotel was everything thoigh. We spent most our time at bowens wharf and it’s such a short walk to dinner, the boat tours, bars ect You can also even walk over to the cliff walk area if feeling up to It! We walked to the breakers as dealing with moving the car over the weekend isn’t idea

It could use more space in bathroom for your things to get ready We stayed city side and It was pretty loud in the am with traffic and the car rentals right next door

Excellent location, was able to walk to all attractions and restaurants. Free parking was provided. The room was clean with a great view of the harbor, the free breakfast was delicious with plenty of options available. The staff was amazing and very accommodating.

we stayed in the middle of the week. A weekend stay could be loud as there is a bar right outside the property

the staff at this property were absolutely wonderful, so helpful in every way. They go over and above to satisfy you. the location is fantastic and free parking and they make sure you have a place parking and they make sure you have a place if you go out. we were leaving early, they made sure we could have a bite to eat before we left, what more c colluded you ask for. nice continental breakfast, extremely clean Harbor room and loved the cookies in the afternoon.

I've stayed in Newport several times. The Harborside Inn was by far my favorite. It is right in town, free parking. They provide tea and cookies all day and the breakfast the next morning was really nice. The room was very clean and the view was spectacular! I would recommend. I will stay there again in the future.

The location of this hotel was fantastic so we didn’t have to use our car very often. The breakfast was better than expected, and Jennifer was so attentive and friendly! The room was beautiful and so comfortable.

We couldn’t get the air conditioner to work.

Bailey, one of the receptionists, was extremely helpful and professional. All of the staff were great, but she was outstanding in her customer service.

Probably due to old wooden floors, anyone walking created a huge noise disturbance. Also, the voices of some young people hanging about and talking down at the dock really carried - I shudder to think of the noise in the summer (there are sound machines in the rooms, but these have little impact). This is an unfortunate deterrent to an otherwise wonderful hotel.

Professional, attentive staff and extremely clean accommodations! The breakfast choices were a nice surprise. There were hot and cold choices, and my favorite, teapots for tea. The location is ideal and having a parking space is a must.

Late night/early morning party noise and yes, screaming from a nearby hotel. Out of the Harborside Inn's boundaries but it did keep us awake until approx 1:30 am.

The location was perfect. We were within walking distance to mostly everything. The room was huge! We didn't even use the upstairs loft. The staff was very friendly. It was raining when we got there and they had large golf umbrellas to use and the afternoon cookies were a nice touch.

The only thing we didn't like was not having access to an ice machine. You had to call the front desk for ice and they brought a small ziploc bag of it. I understand it is part of their Covid protocol and it really is such a small issue.

Very nice breakfast, the best tea selection! Jennifer who worked in the dining area was the nicest person, super friendly and helpful.

We were very pleased with the Harborside Inn at Newport. We stayed in the King room waterfront view, not only was the staff very friendly and helpful the rooms were spacious and very clean. Due to a storm coming in Wednesday afternoon and thru all day Thursday we decided to check out a day early and without even asking we were credited for the night we didn’t stay. Talking from experience 9 out of ten times this does not happen. We visit Newport two to three times a year and because of all mentioned above, we will definitely stay here again
