I liked the breakfast which is made to order. It was delicious. I also liked the nice firm mattress. I slept like a baby. I liked that I had a parking space. That's a premium in Newport. I will come back!

The front stairs are a bit steep for an older person like me. I wish that there was air conditioning in the bathroom. I had to keep the door open so that the air from the room could drift into the bathroom which gave me less privacy.

The staff/owner were exceptionally nice. our room was “cozy”. the mattress a little too soft for my back but the place was spotless. Crystal was so much fun and made our breakfast to order every morning

The Innkeeper and all of his staff were so kind & friendly! Not only did they carry our luggage directly to our room, but showed us to our parking spot right near our room…no extra charge which in Newport is really a nice benefit! The freshly made, breakfast to order was amazing and again, no extra charge! We loved our stay @ Wynstone Inn and would highly recommend!

On my day of arrival, the inn staff called me to ensure they were ready for my arrival and provided clear instructions on where to go. Upon arrival, I was offered an available room in an even more convenient location.

The glass bathroom door did not provide much privacy.

Nicely decorated room matching the historic style of the inn. Good bed. Large bathroom with two sinks, large tub, and separate shower. Off-street parking in downtown Newport.

Severe upkeep issues: caulking in the bathroom peeling away, especially in the shower, stained grout, whirlpool tub spouts and controls broken or missing and the ones remaining yellowed. Weak shower flow. For about half the price this might have been worth it. Granted, it was Labor Day weekend, but it was still not nearly worth the cost.

Sophia and Neal both made us wonderful breakfasts! The location was perfect! Rick was extremely accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were happy, comfortable, and had everything we needed!

Professional/personal service by all staff. Breakfast was made to order and excellent. Great break from traditional hotel chains.

The location was wonderful -- easy walk to the waterfront. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows for reading in bed, the room was large with a chair and a bench (and a small fridge), and the bathroom was huge. Particularly notable was a super shower, with excellent water pressure and hot water. The staff was exceptional, extremely helpful and polite despite being very, very busy.

The furnishings are getting a little tired -- nothing major, showing some wear and scuffs -- and if you think "style" means sleek, chrome, or minimal you might not appreciate the decor. If substance counts for more, enjoy a wonderful stay!

Broken toilet seat and sink faucet is too short.

The breakfast was very good. There were many menu options. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nicely decorated. Our host was terrific. Though very busy, he was very helpful and extremely pleasant. He even helped us out of a tight parking spot as we were leaving!!

The air conditioner in our room cycled on and off about every three minutes which was disturbing! We reported it the next morning and our host said he would see to it. I assume he did.
