Hampton Inn Greenville/Travelers Rest

the hotel was wonderful, comfortable and very clean. the front desk person who worked the morning of 6/4 was the nicest, most helpful person i’ve ever dealt with over the phone, I believe her name was Shanna

I left some things in my room, that I was only checked into for around 9-10 hours as I was in town for business, and when I called to check on my things, the front desk person was less than bothered and said no one found my things after I gave explicit descriptions of my clothes and where I left them. So that was less than ideal and not helpful in the least

The employees were friendly and welcoming. We were happy that there was breakfast included. The location of this hotel was great for what we planned to do in South Carolina. We were relatively close to hiking and wineries.

We had just stayed in a brand new Hampton Inn in Bellingham, WA and were blown away with how nice & clean and modern everything was. They had thought of every detail. We were slightly disappointed with this particular Hampton Inn as the room was a little dirty (bathroom), and slightly rundown. There was no luggage rack in our room and only a few hangers. Also, the tea selection in the lobby was minimal and the hot water for the tea wasn't always hot. There was only coffee in the room and no tea.

I really appreciated the breakfast each morning in spite of Covid obstacles to overcome. The ladies setting it up could not bave been kinder. It was a drastic change from places we had stopped at along the way. We also liked the well lit room. Many hotel rooms are poorly lit. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and cheerful, right from the start at check in. We left another area hotel, because it was dismal and unfriendly. The Hampton was a very welcome change!. Thank you all.

The one thing I really missed was a bath tub.While traveling with my grandkids, I so looked forward to relaxing in a tub at the end of a long day. Also, we missed the ability to connect our DVD player to the TV to watch an occasional movie. These are minor issues but things I look for in a hotel.

The staff (check in, food service and housekeeping) were extra friendly and welcoming. “Mama T”’s fresh hot cookies were amazing. She went above and beyond to make my daughter a hot chocolate :)

The price was a little high but the service and hotel itself made me look past that.

It was very nice location! Convenient. On the main route through Travelers Rest but set back and above the raod and had landscaping in front so it was not exposed Very nice!! Also, a very clean and modern room with comfortable beds and pillows. Nice linens. Large tv with good screen. And the toilet was amazing! A Toto Washlet- electronic bidet with warm seat!!

Had room darkening shades but light came in on sides (i like super dark rooms)

When I arrived there was construction work going on which I wasn't informed about prior to my arrival. The elevator wasn't working so my luggage need to be carried up the stairways. To be fair the concierge offered to assist.

Great breakfast every morning. Location was spot on and near to the wedding we were attending. Friendly staff and clean facilities.

My air conditioning did not work most of the time. The unit would not get cool enough during a 105 degree day.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Friendly staff. good breakfast. very convenient location for us as we were visiting family for the Holidays. We would definitely stay here again.

Good Breakfast ... Front Desk personnel was very helpful and friendly .. Really appreciated the way the Hotel is approaching the Covid situation. We Felt very safe. This Hampton staff deserves a AAA rating for their efforts to protect its guest. Our room had been updated and it was not only very nice but comfortable as well. First road trip sense February 2020.. We really liked how clean and well kept this property was. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was the best sleep we had on this trip.

Traffic noise was a bit of a problem, especially early in the morning.
