Hotel location was great. Right by the interstate, which made the travel to all of the sightseeing locations awesome. Upon arrival, at my request request, we got upgraded to a king suite which was spacious and comfortable. Staff behind the desk were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. An excellent Mexican restaurant is attached to the hotel. Bed, pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special. What you would come to expect in this class level hotel.

Indoor pool seemed to be always active, we loads of families and kids, as a result, floors in the lobby, elevators were always wet from people dripping wet from the pool.

I love how clean the pool and hot tub is. Our suite was beautiful and clean, too. The other hotels I’ve stayed at in Rapid City were disguising. Some of the hotels I’ve stayed at promised luxury but had the scent of weed in one area in the hallway and another part of the hallway smelled of alcohol bad. This hotel was nothing like that! VERY elegant and quiet. It felt like a five star hotel.

The arms of the chair in my suite was dirty. I feel like the furniture needs to be steam cleaned but other than that it was clean everywhere else.

This review is for a junior suite (king plus sofa bed) - good water pressure, clean rooms, nice aesthetics, quiet, good views out the eastern-facing window, convenient location for both Rapid City and Black Hills, close to shopping and food. The lobby was a useful place for a quick business meeting. Good network, good TV quality, bed was very comfortable, parking lot felt safe for our rental car, Staff were professional.

Breakfast was just ok, all carbs, little fruit and protein.

The staff was very friendly and helpful!

The carpets in our room were pretty dirty. At minimum wish housekeeping would empty the garbages and put clean towels in the room daily. The breakfast could have been better. The price of the room was very high, I know it was also the beginning of the rally but they were quite high. If we are paying that much, we should have full housekeeping and better breakfast.

Good location, friendly staff, variety of breakfast food. Pool with a water slide was great for our teens.

More staff, one person is not enough to check guests in and help other guests with requests or monitoring the pool area. A family with several adults and children left the pool and surrounding area a mess with remnants of a torn apart nerf football. A few of the adults had been drinking and one lady was so drunk she could barely stand and walk out with her child. Other families in the pool area were quite concerned as well. I’m not sure this happens often, but should be monitored more. The pool area itself was quite clean and enjoyable if wasn’t for this issue. Pool towels were always out.

It was a very nice hotel. Walking in, there was a very pleasant aroma, partly due to the cookies that were just freshly baked. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean, except there was a Q-tip, still left under the vanity in the bathroom, but can understand how a maid might have missed it. It could only be seen when sitting on the toilet. The beds were fairly comfortable, but a little on the firmer side. Breakfast of eggs (powdered) and sausage pretty decent. The location was nice as it was just close to Walmart as I needed to pick up a few things. All in all a very nice place to stay.

He q-tip under the counter in the bathroom, but it was at a funny angle only to be seen wjen sitting on the toilet.

We enjoyed our stay here as a base for our exploration of the area. The pool (and its temperature) was outstanding. Even complete with a slide if you have children. There were two hot tubs that were deep and warm. The beds were comfortable and we used available laundry which we were very appreciative of. Coffee/tea, etc. was available 24/7. Communication with the staff was good.

The area was busier than I thought when booking but it served our needs well.

Most staff were friendly and curtious. They make sure your stay is comfortable and suiting.

One particular staff member seemed to pin point certain guests, idk why or if others really noticed, she wasn't too obvious but obvious enough , but she just was too nosey and if you don't know sarcasm too well, then you would know her sarcastic remarks When she is at work, at the front desk, you'd much rather find a different door to enter/exit , she can make you want to be rude to her just to shut her up

Layout, fairly quiet where we were, junior suite was comfortable. Cofffee, including Decaf, always available in the lobby. Very quiet heating/cooling unit.

Bathroom floor needed to be swept (dark spots--bugs?--on floor), used pod in coffee maker, no 2nd roll of TP so had to call, room darkening curtain torn at top, curtains no longer meet to provide true darkening. Personally, I would have preferred individual cups of yogurt over the dish of yogurt. Had to turn on all the lights in the sitting room to be able to read.

The breakfast was wonderful so many choices every few days I would switch it up....biscuits and gravy one morning, another morning scrambled eggs sausage and toast, and another morning just a bowl of cereal and a couple glasses of milk...

Unfortunately we had some car trouble during our stay which added a little suspense needing to get at one point our vehicle towed and then serviced at a local car dealership. Lastly the sad part having to leave your beautiful state and return home...
