We have stayed here every year for the NHRA races since 2018. This year something was wrong at check in that my card was declined because of fraud. Clerk said it was because I was out of state. Had it not been for my spouses card I couldn’t have checked in with the no cash policy. My card has reserved and checked in for us for the last three years. Just can’t understand why I could have been without a room if it wasn’t for this glitch. Spouses cards was also out of state. I went next door and withdrew cash to pay my spouse back. Just sad and embarrassing

My room faced the pool on the 3rd floor.. there is a flood light that shines right in the glass doors all nite. The blackout plastic curtain was not sufficient to block out the light. It had some holes in it that made it look like a mini flashlight in the room and it is not situated on the wall wide enough to not allow the hugely bright light to shine into the room on all sides and the floor. I would suggest dimming that light with a much less powerful bulb to begin with.

I have stayed in a few La Quinta and this was one of the better. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV options were excellent and easy to use.

It is not so much of what I didn't like as to just some minor upgrades to make the stay better. Things just seem a little sloppy when finishing the room. The bathroom didn't have a vent in it or anywhere to hang your towel. A fee simple hooks would have made a huge difference. Our bed unfortunately had a bad spring in the metal frame so anytime we moved it made a loud pop.

We stayed here over a few visits due to a nearby relocation. The staff were supportive and encouraging, they invested interest in our house search! It was a super convenient choice near the airport. They were welcoming to our puppers and that was never awkward. Much appreciated!

The mattress in the queen room could have been a little newer, but it was still fine. We slept just fine. The king bed was just right.

The linens seemed new or recently acquired. The room was comfortable and it was easy to log on to entertainment services I am subscribed to from the TV.

There was a bright light right outside my window and I was not able to adequately block that light. Putting a black out curtain in the room or blacking out the edge of the window so the drape will cover would be appreciated.

The breakfast was excellent it had a variety of items.

Earlier in the evening I inquired about the exterior security doors that weren’t closed and and asked if they would be later . I got an affirmative answer. The reason I initially asked is I am a 62 yr old female laced in an end room by said door. Needless to say the doors were NOT secured because I got up early and found it unsecured. Next time I will ask to be put on an upper floor.

The outlet near the sink was not working, so the hairdryer did not work. I asked for a different hair dryer and plugged it in another location. That hairdryer started to smoke, so I believe that needs to be repaired or throw away. Other than that, our stay was just what we were hoping for. The kids enjoyed the pool. The cot was brought in for our 5th person, no extra charge for the cot or the dog. Thank you!

They called us before we checked in just to make sure we had no pets with us. They have a floor set aside for animals. The hotel is under major renovations, but the work stopped at a reasonable hour and was no problem. Much nicer than first impressions from the outside.

Guest apparently did not declare an animal so one was on our floor. Not hotel's fault. People are thoughtless. I am allergic to pet hair and dander and it easily could have ruined my next 24 hours. It didn't this time.

We loved the comfort of the bed, cleanliness, and the fact that a breakfast was available. The staff was terrific.

The Air Conditioning for our room was not quite sufficient. It was set at 60 degrees and still seemed much warmer than that. Which made sleeping a little rough.

The room was a little crowded with no great place for suitcases; heavy window curtains but parking lot lights streamed in through end of curtain and wall. Breakfast bar picked over and attendant not around
