Our corner room was very clean, spacious, well-appointed and had a small balcony. The property was listed as “pet friendly” and it lived up to the description. The staff were very kind to our 13+ year old golden retriever who needed to travel with us last minute, and there were not any additional charges or deposits for him required. Lovely, comfortable and large rooms with very comfortable beds and super quiet if you're not on the 6th street side. We enjoyed the banquette space and the large fridge although it's packed with even more and even more expensive minibar items than usual. Lots of storage space and beautiful large bathroom with great shower and plentiful towels. The neighborhood is great with tons of restaurants, organic grocery nearby, excellent yoga studio and bars. Good coffee right next door. We even liked the restaurant that shares the lobby with the hotel. And scooters, citi-bikes galore right out the front door. The young staff is really friendly, sweet and all around good people.

CONS: No pool. No coffee/tea maker. We asked for extra hangers and more glasses when we arrived and it took 4 days and repeated requests to get them. The wifi is wonky, sometimes it's great, more often it is in and out or hard to log onto. The elevators stink, truly stink like mold or something died in the shaft. This is a really expensive property and the service/facility didn't quite make up for the cost. Almost though!

they met our needs- highest floor, corner room. we were in 519. however it was noisy. we were facing the trains as they went by and we also heard people whenever they walked down the street and were engaged in conversation. it was next to many bars and restaurants which was nice. the room was roomy and well decorated.

It's right in the thick of East Austin on 6th Street so the location is AMAZING. Great coffee shops, breweries, bars, restaurants so it's perfect for you to get a feel for the city The room was beautifully decorated and updated. The staff was beyond friendly and they really do make you feel welcomed (very much appreciated the welcome drink!). The elevators are quick!

Location was great. Room was big. Shower was huge with nice hair products and body wash.

Corner room was situated above a bar and another is across the street. If you are a light sleeper, the noise will be a problem. Even if you aren’t, there’s no way to avoid the noise. It’s the price you pay for a hotel in a vibrant neighborhood.

Good use of space including the breakfast nook. Nice bathroom with good shower. Comfortable bed.

No Handicap access at front door. No coffee available anywhere in the hotel on the weekends until 10 AM. You can hear the bar crowd outside while trying to sleep. $38 per day for parking is a little steep.

The hotel has a convenient location near many attractions, such as bars and restaurants that you can reach on foot. The design of the hotel is elegant, the beds are cozy and the facilities are spotless. You also get a complimentary drink when you check in.

Breakfast inclusion would have made it even better.

** really nice hotel and staff however, very unsatisfied with availability of morning coffee, with a fee of five dollars a cup. I personally think the small issue is not appropriate for $200 a night room. I thought that was a little unprofessional.

The location is very convenient to several cafes, breweries, and Lady Bird Lake is just around 1 mile walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant also very cozy.

The A/C controls seemed to not be working well or it took too long to get the temperature to adjust properly. The liquid soap dispenser at the shower was empty.

Pros: 1) clean, modern rooms, 2) good location, 3) personable staff, 4) text communications. Bonus: we arrived earlier than check-in time and they were able to secure a room, which was really nice.

Cons: 1) there's no coffee in the rooms and no room service, 2) room cleaning appointments are by request and not reliable. Even though I requested within a certain window, the crew came an hour and a half late, which I couldn't accommodate. When I asked for them to come back in an hour, they said ok and then never showed up. :/
