Great location in Uptown Dallas with everything you may need in walking distance. The room was comfortable and had a good size. The bar ("the library") is nice and have often live music. The cocktails were delicious, and the bartenders really friendly.

The rooms are a bit "thin-walled." We could hear every single cough from neighbor... No food after 9:00 pm of any kind (kitchen closes early and if they do not have many guests even earlier) The breakfast was not worthy. It's expensive and not big (a la carte only, no buffet). 1 jar coffee 18 USD (3 cups of thin, terrible American coffee). Valet parking is expensive, too. Better try to park somewhere on the street.

I liked the hotel overall. Decorations of the rooms, lobby, the pool were great. Location was very good for bars and restaurants around

The staff made several mistakes when receiving deposit from my credit card and they charged 4 times. They fixed it later on but this time when I was checking they charged facility fee again altough its included in the price prepaid. They again fixed it but for me these are execessive mistakes

space in room, comfort. the library bar area. the staff were excellent, save one - see below. the decor and ambience were very welcoming. the shuttle service was wonderful.

shame the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner. it’s still advertised all over the hotel that it is. we would have like to have eaten there at night as was our plan. water pressure in the room was bad the lady doing the ‘greeting’ and table seating for breakfast on Sunday morning was appalling. she just stared at us as we arrived, no greeting at all. it was disturbing. my husband said good morning, and nothing. she just asked for our room number abruptly and took us to a table. I would suggest this needs to be addressed. it was so bad it is damaging the brand of your hotel and letting the rest of your wonderful staff down. African American lady in bright dress.

The hotel is on an historic building, restored and very well maintained. The room is very spacious and confortable. Perfect for solo travelers on business or couples. The location is good, with some restaurants around and not far from Dallas downtown. It is very well connected to go to the airport(s) and other parts of Dallas

The location and the sector nearby is quite colorful and it is not for everyone's tastes

Good food in the restaurant, a beautiful swimming pool with fluffy towels poolside, a big corner room, well equipped bath/spa... and located within walking distance of so much food and nightlife.

My only complaint was that when I invited friends over to the Library Lounge, the live music was so loud that we could not converse. We had to take our drinks out and sit in the lobby. Background music would have been elegant and perfect, but even the waitstaff agreed that it was too loud, but that no customer complaints had been effective in getting the volume reduced. I complained at check-out and the desk clerk implied that I was not the first to complain about it.

This is a beautiful landmark hotel. The bar is lovely – like out of a movie! The staff were very pleasant. The neighborhood was very lively.

I really didn't like that most nights in the bar there was a very loud music group. You could not carry on a conversation with the noise. Perhaps coming out of Covid, the dining room is closed for dinner. The only option is the bar and that was too noisy so you needed to go someplace else.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and nicely appointed. We asked for champagne and strawberries to help us celebrate our honeymoon and they delivered very well. The staff was helpful and room was quiet.

The room was not ready at 6pm when we came to check in even though normal check in was 3pm. That meant we had to store our luggage and come back after dinner.

Beautiful historical building in a wonderful location! Everything was so clean and from the moment you walk into the beautiful lobby, it is a wonderful experience. The staff are amazing, so incredibly friendly and helpful...they made our stay even better. One employee even told us that they feel like they're a family, which you can definitely tell. Yes, the elevator is old and makes noises sometimes and yes, you can hear people through the older building's walls sometimes....but all of that does not outweigh the strengths of this hotel. The bar is classy and a great place to get a drink. Lots of great restaurants close by, some even within walking distance. We stay in hotels in this area often and this one is a great value and we will be back! Also, we ordered a brownie and a cheesecake for a late night dessert and it was a delicious treat!

We stayed near the elevator and it made creaking noises we could hear in our room.

Nice location, comfortable beds, big room and nice shower and big bathroom. Every night there was a person playing the piano and singing in the bar and the ambience was really nice. The surprise of a nice amenity in the room becasue it was my birtday.

A little bit confusing the policy of cleaning rooms....(but I imagine this is due to the Covid) They told me they were not going to make them but if in case I need something they could replace everything, but at the end room was made in different ways every day.
