This is quite a new hotel and although it was near a freeway, we found food options within walking distance. It was also close to a DART station (once we figured out the short cuts) which saved a lot of money on Ubers. The room itself was quite spacious- we had 2 large suitcases plus hand luggage and did not feel cramped.

The room didn’t have an overhead central light and bed lamps were only on one side of the bed. The water pressure in the shower could be better also. When we asked for something for our room, we did have to ask several times- when we first arrived there were 3 pillows so we asked for a 4th. Got back from dinner and had to ask again. Went out the next morning and asked for fresh towels, came back in the afternoon and had to ask a second time.

Everyone was very friendly. We liked all of the colorful artwork and different seating areas. We liked that it had board games and magazines. It smelt great at all times. It has a great roof top view.

Housekeeping had to come change the sheets after we checked in. Maybe the shades should be opened while cleaning the rooms. We could hear the highway noise all night long. I didn't like the fact that some of the staff was arguing with management about their assignments during the Friday night roof top party. We were on vacation and we didn't need any stress.

Its in a nice area with a good view. The front desk employee was fantastic. He was fun to talk to and made us feel welcome, he was very personable. Exceptional employee. The rooms are also very nice and clean.

Valet parking is the only parking. Im a little weird with people having possession of my things, i wish there was an option to self park. This hotel is really nice and the price was worth it, but i wasn't accounting for the extra $40 a night it cost for my boyfriends and my own car to sit in a parking lot overnight. Had i known i might have gone to a different hotel. One of my keychains was also broken and on the floor of my drivers side so I was pretty bummed about that as well.

This is the THE place to stay in Dallas! The staff was friendly and helpful and always had smiles on their faces. Our room was perfect as it was immaculate clean when we arrived and it was a comfortable place to stay during our trip. The location can't be beat and it's more than worth the $20 a day for parking. We will be staying here every time we're in Dallas.

Honestly, there wasn't anything that we didn't like.

The breakfast was good. Place was very clean and most of the staff was very friendly.

Didn’t realize it was valet parking only and costs $35. When I asked the front desk clerk about it at checkin, in a very rude tone, responded “there are signs outside and it’s on the website”. I wasn’t trying to argue just that it should be an extra note when booking the room.

Hotel and staff were very nice. We've booked a room with Tru in Corpus. It was nice also. We liked it and thought it would be nice to stay there on this trip.

The beds were extremely hard. I didn't mind the extra soft pillows, but a couple of firm pullows mixed in would have been nice. I'll bring my own next time. Valet parking, I overlooked it when booking. I would not have booked this hotel for that reason. I will be very careful in the future.

No swimming pool for one .... They had a lovely view on the roof top but , unfortunately we only got to see it for about 3 min. before we was ran off by some man telling us it was reserved for a party .... Not half of it all of it ... We didn't get pitcher's nothing then the next day wouldn't u know it was closed couldn't go up . All the was is one pool table ... I wasn't happy at all we will not be going back .... And I suggest if u plan to go call ahead to see it you can at least see the roof top view ...... Room's are small the best thing about this stay was the bed Thank God sorry no photos to share might have ONE of the ONE pool table

Paying for parking despite there being an open lot on campus grounds with available parking. Also, the elevators were extremely slow. I had to visit the front desk ateast twice in check in due to key card for room not working properly. It eventually got fixed but the process was a bit of a headache on arrival after traveling by plane to get there.
