Breakfast made to order is great. Coffee was fresh, waffles and eggs were tasty.

Hotel nickles and dimes for cans of soda and candy bars at an insane markup. People are spending hundreds per night for lodging, you don't need to scalp them for snacks. Also, bring laundry facilities into the 19th century. Shouldn't need a roll of quarters, a card is ideal. Plus having one elevator dead during the entire stay was a bummer. They get very busy. One last thing. Real pillows. The tiny baby pillows on the beds are a joke.

Room was very spacious and modern/updated. Facilities like gym and pool. Proximity to beach. Restaurant in lobby was great. Felt like it was great value!

First floor room and they were doing construction both outside and inside. It was noisy at times.

We liked the proximity to the beach and the staff was nice.

Paid for a complimentary breakfast and they did not offer that. They did not clean your room during the stay unless you ask. we asked early in the morning for a cleaning and it never happened. We had to call down again to get more clean towels. For the amount of money we spent not acceptable.

Great location- beachfront and next to entertaining venues with great music and food! It has a nice “boardwalk” to its beach access and has awesome outdoor showers to wash off the sand. It’s the last big hotel on SPI, so you are next to a protected beach park that has a more secluded feel if you prefer that! Huge pool with lots of seating and 2 hot tubs—very nice!

Our suite needed more lighting!! It only had 2 overhead/ceiling lights that were right next to each other in the center of the suite outside the bathroom. There were only 2 small adjustable reading lights by each bed—no other lamps—and 1 lamp by the sofa with a desk lamp lamp on the office desk/table. Very dim at night.

The location was EVERYTHING!!! The ramp that took u to the beach was nice. It literally took us less than 5 mins to check in the hotel. Our room was clean and to me, its a plus that the air conditioning unit went all the way down to the 50’s. (Super hot outside). Our balcony was huge and faced the firework show that they do every night. The pool area was so beautiful. Theres a bar poolside and the service was excellent. The pool water was warm and the chlorine was perfect, it didn’t burn ur eyes. We paid for the breakfast to be included in our room price and it was so worth it. Its a restaurant, On The Border, inside the hotel, and that’s where u eat breakfast. You get to choose from the regular menu. Breakfast was delicious. Parking was convenient. They give u a parking decal, so that only their guests could park there. I didn’t meet an unkind staff member there. EVERYONE was super nice, respectful, and professional. We’re definitely staying there again next time we go back to SPI.

I don’t have a complaint at all

The room was spacious and comfortable, only wish there was more lighting in the room. There are eco-friendly bath/body products available in the bathroom: shampoo/conditioner, shower gel and lotion. Restaurant onsite was delicious for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There were several bars to choose from: inside lobby area, pool area and by beach access. Pool is fabulous! They have a huge pool and two hot tubs. Security was available to make sure only hotel guests were in the pool area. One elevator was down, but it wasn't much of an inconvenience for me. All staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

Poor lighting in rooms. Outdoor/pool area restrooms may need frequent cleaning service.

My stay was excellent. Staff super friendly. Restaurant at the hotel was good. They are open till 10 so was perfect for my family. They had good selección of breakfast and lunch for reasonable price. Good service. Room was quiet and clean. Bed was confortable and clean. Pool and outside area was always clean. If you like to drink they have on site bars, at the beach and inside the hotel. My stay was perfect. I will definitely stay again at this hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like and that’s personal was I wasn’t permitted to take coolers inside or outside pool area.

Room was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Housekeeping is only available upon request, but if you spot a cart, you can ask for more towels, shampoo, and toilet paper, and they were always happy to supply us what we needed. On the Border had a fantastic breakfast. The menu is not a buffet. The best thing to do is get it included with your room. The prices are about 11.99 and then 7.99 for kids. The migas were so good as well as the churro french toast. We really enjoyed the breakfast a lot. The pool was also fantastic. Really clean, and warm, maybe heated. Kids loved it. Very clean property. Beach access is awesome. Fireworks on Friday and Saturday were really good. We stayed 4 nights. Next time we will stay longer. Wonderful trip.

The only thing weird is there was no hair dryer. I would have brought mine, but I saw it listed as an ammenity. My sister didn’t have one in her room either. But we both called the front desk, and they let us pick one up from them. I don’t know why they are not in the room.

Loved the pool and the access to the beach.

Not enough towels and shower rod was broken so curtain wouldn't close right and got water everywhere. Not much lighting in the sleeping area, two small reading lamps and no main light.

The grounds were clean and attractive, very helpful staff, clean spacious and comfortable room. Quite and it had a nice balcony overlooking the pool and partial ocean view. Resort feel. Great location. Nice beach. Walking distance to restaurants, entertainment, and nature centers.

Booking.com said ocean view (paid extra for a full ocean view but they don't have full ocean view rooms). Should not be listed as ocean view, as there's a building (bar) between the hotel and beach, only giving you a partial view.
