the staff from the managers, front desk to the cleaning they were very accommodating. We were traveling with a four month old baby when we couldn't find a parking space, the building maintenance man gave us his. They were that good.

1. Location - perfect, right on the beach across from Birding & Nature Center 2. Service staff - attentive, hard working, accommodative, fast responsive. Must recognize amazing Housekeeping ladies & Dining food service staff. However, omelet station folks make faces if you don't tip (better bring some dollar bills). 3. Room size - much bigger relative to what one typically sees (king size room facing ocean) 4. Room safe (vault) - easy to use + huge, will lock your computers, tables, wallets, etc. Very nice feature. 5. Dining room - plenty of space, including busy weekends 6. Breakfast - not bad

1. Property - not just dated, but really old without required maintenance. Rust all over. 2. Old squeaky uncomfortable bed 3. Parking - limited (issue on the weekends) and poorly lit. It appears safe though. No incidents though. 4. Gym - no air circulation, stuffy, difficult to breathe even with A/C blowing cold 5. Swimming pool - not just dirty, but the water feels oily. 6. Balcony- tiny, no space

The pool was a little unkempt. Long wait due to too many people for the elevator(s).

Booking.com sold it as beach front and it was not. It was way overpriced for being just a regular room.

Loved the location and the beach. The sand was nice and the water warm and shallow enough to wade and splash around in it. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent and the housekeeping staff did a great job. Breakfast was good. Many families were there and guests were polite.

The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were terrible. Dogs on the beach doing their business although owners did clean up.

The breakfast was amazing with several choices and plenty of tables and chairs! We especially liked the made to order omelet station. The staff was very nice. Being right on the beach was perfect. Having a small bar with food attached to the pool area was nice. Getting daily texts about Happy Hour was great. Be sure to get the Miami Vice drink. It was so good. There is lots of room outside to sit and enjoy your company and listen to the waves.

We had an issue with the toilet stopping up. We called for maintenance and they didnt show up. We had to call again the next day and they finally fixed it. Housekeeping was great execpt they were a little stingy with toilet paper. We actually ran out right before we left. We would have called for more if we needed it, but we shouldnt have had to.

Breakfast was great, location was great.

I wasn't told about any extra services or I might have purchased during my stay. I think more information about things to do could be in the rooms, maybe maps of the island. We did a bit of exploring ourselves but outside of shopping and the beach it's hard to know what all is available. Also.... y'all, the balcony is made for 2 year Olds. Anyone with legs like mine was not able to enjoy and I was really disappointed. I was excited to enjoy morning coffee o. A balcony facing the beach but the really uncomfortable chairs (WTF!!) And the size of the balcony made that impossible. I understand the need for light chairs but let's find a better way to make them because those are so horrible.

Room was large and comfortable. The view was amazing and the breakfast food was great. Very quiet. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Easy walk to the convention center if you are here for an event or bird watching or wanna see a great sunset. Very happy with the hotel and would definitely stay again. (I read some complaints about the hotel before booking but they seemed to occur around Spring Break. I wouldn't stay here during spring break - but I wouldn't stay anywhere on the island during spring break.)

The ice machine didn't work on my floor so I went to another floor for ice.

Location was great. Staff was amazing super friendly on all levels. I rented ocean view with balcony. View was awesome. Heated pool was a plus since weather was on the cooler side. Breakfast (included) was delicious. Store inside was equipped with anything you'll need. Clayton's is to the right music could be heard from balcony personally I enjoyed and liked that you couldn't hear it from inside the room. Sea turtle Inc & Bird and nature center are right across the street. I recommend visiting both. Beds were on the firmer side and pillows were softer. Room was spacious with a microwave and mini fridge.

Balcony was on the smaller side. Pool seems like it has seen better days. The only did I did enjoy the pool I was told we could not have our own drinks(canned) and had to purchase food and drinks at barrys (hotel's bar &grill). I did not visit Barry's ( prices seemed lower than most places and food looked good in reviews) only because I didn't not like the fact they tried to force visitors to purchase solely at hotel. I had planned on having dinner there and instead ordered delivery. (D'pizza Joint always delicious). The mini fridge in our room barely kept items cool.

I liked that it was family oriented and so close to the beach. I loved the breakfast set-up and the room was pleasant. Cleaning staff was prompt and friendly. We stayed over a week and loved it. Being near a beautiful pier was lovely as well. Having a eatery establishment near by was a plus as well. Food was delicious and prices were affordable.

With your stay you can't control who you are next too and if they have pets....they are going to bark. Kids will be kids as well. The pool is outside and not heated, but in warm outside weather I'm sure it's ideal. There is no hot tub..that would be a beautiful addition.
