Comfort Inn & Suites Near Burke Mountain

The breakfast was as complete as most free breakfasts are in hotels. Adequate, not sensational. The shower was new and beautifully glassed in. The room was exceptionally large with a sofa. It was quiet during the night.

Finding the place was very difficult. We drove around for an hour before finding it. The description was near Burke Mountain. It really is in St. Johnsbury past the downtown stores, under the overpass and on the left. There was no cell service, GPS or telephone while we were trying to find the hotel.

We enjoyed breakfast, the game room, and the pool/ hot tub. We also loved the afternoon cookies, property cleanliness, and willingness of most staff to accommodate as appropriate.

When the really thin breakfast staff lady told my daughter "I'm not making anymore sausage because it's quarter of 10". In my opinion if breakfast goes until 10am and someone wants sausage at 9:59am they should get it.

Breakfast was a surprise with all the Covid restrictions. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nice selection of individually packaged foods to choose from. The staff was courteous and helpful with information of local attractions dining selections Staff greeted us warmly on arrival and each time we came in. They even greatest the dogs. Made us feel welcomed

It would be nice if there were recepticals outside the side and back entrance for smokers as there were buts all over the ground. We were traveling with dogs as were several other guests. There was no convienent place to deposit our pet waste. Had to go to the back of the building to the main trash receptacle. I understand that linens are no longer changed on a daily basis and I support this. However our room was not freshened up nor our trash emptied our entire 3 day stay. I am assuming this is due to staffing shortages but at least trash pick up. Should make the patron aware.

This was a nice hotel. Spacious clean room. staff was friendly and attentive. A bit out of town but information to restaurants and businesses was readily available. Breakfast was very nice, with several options.

parking was a little far, we were able to unload luggage in the breezeway, convenient enough, but parking was a bit of a walk back to the buliding.

It was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. Continental breakfast was more than just cold food There were breakfast sandwiches, hot cereal, juices and an attendant who was delightful. She refilled all the food, cleaned the tables after folks left. Front office staff were efficient and informative

Hmmmm. There were cadets in a training program who pretty much took over the dining area at breakfast. They were loud and scattered about. Could have been more respectful of the guests

This is a very nice hotel. Our room was nice, clean, spacious, the amenities are great. The breakfast was good. We did not use the indoor pool but I had a look and it seemed nice. There is also a arcade/video game room/pool table next to the pool downstairs. You do have to pay extra to play arcades and pool though. The setting with the fall colors in the trees all around was very nice. I actually accidentally left my iphone on the check in counter when I arrived. They noticed it and took the phone and kept it behind the counter. I was able to get my phone back and I’m glad no one stole it. The receptionist said someone came to say that it was their phone however she did not hand it over to them and I’m very grateful!

The waffle machine was broken. You had to pay to play pool or video games.

Excellent curb appeal. Grounds well maintained. Appreciated snacks/food items available breakfast was great. Coffee available 24/7. In the evening lemon water and cookies offered at entrance. Atmosphere was welcoming with New England charm.

Pool and breakfast along with great location! The staff was super helpful and during checking I told them we had a small dog!!! They as if I would like a 1st floor room to make it easier to take dog out! Breakfast attend was a great help!! We will go back again in the next month!!!!

Friendly receptionist. The game room in the basement was something unique and really made our night fun. 2 hours spent there felt like 5 minutes. Fitness center was a great amenity as well, although it could use more updated equipment. Breakfast was okay: Coffee with bagels, Jimmy Dean’s sandwich, and cereals.

Indoor pool had filtration issue and couldn’t be used by the kids. They were quite excited to see the hotel pool online, only to find out it didn’t work. Room bathtub was the alternative ☹️
