Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Convention Center

The room was nice. We got the king suite because we were traveling with small children. It was very convenient that we had the bed in a room with a door. This was helpful with the kids. They were able to go to sleep in the living area and we could still close the door and watch tv in the bedroom. Our room was clean. The bed was comfy. There was plenty of space. The breakfast was nice and was above average compared to other hotels that I've stayed in.

I didnt see a laundry bag. The setup is a little odd. Theres only one set of elevators and our room was on the opposite of where the elevators were (so we had to walk the furthest distance). It wasnt a big deal, but maybe worth mentioning.

It has been years since I stayed at this property. There have been some updates. The property is clean. The employees are professional and the services are good. The room was clean and updated. The hotel was busy, but not chaotic. There weren't kids running up and down the halls, or random characters hanging around the lobby. You need your key to access the elevator,pool, and exercise room. That makes me feel more secure knowing that anyone cannot come in unless they have a card.

Our room door was open. Im assuming house cleaning was rushing. During Breakfast, the cook making the omelets was overwhelmed and I felt bad. There should be rwo chefs making omelets because the line got really long. But everyone was courteous

Hotel room was just as I imagined! 10/10. The night was pleasant and plenty of room for my family to enjoy. Breakfast was also a delight. I will be planning another trip and booking this hotel in the future.

Even though my room wasn’t ready when I was checking in….everything was overall great but check in did feel a bit bland (some workers) maybe add a bit more pep to having customers feel even better and being more informative about the tickets that they provide at check in.about staying at this beautiful hotel.

The renovation was nice the new models and the bathroom was nice and bedroom

Didn't like the thermostat I couldn't turn the thing up and down it was set on a set time of temperature my room was very cold and the housekeeping didn't make up my bed and didn't put clean towels after I left for the day in the afternoon and to return nothing was done I had just got married on yesterday I was very disappointed but I did speak to the manager yesterday about everything hopefully next time I stay a little better

The lobby is beautiful, the location is very good - lots of places to eat and only 15 minutes from Buckroe Beach. The breakfast was terrific - lots of choices available.

There was only one coffee cup, and the soap and shampoo dispensers over the tub had not been filled. The staff did take care of this after we talked to the person at the front desk. The carpet around the bed did not appear to have been vacuumed but we didn't mention this as we were only there for 2 nights.

Breakfast was delightful….best we have had. Room was clean and comfortable. The final price we paid was what was given when we booked, but I had to complain to get the surprise $5 parking charge and the extra $25 charged in advance if we incurred other charges removed.

The price I booked was raised by $25 when we arrived. We were told that was in case we incurred extra charges. Also, there was a $5 parking fee when we checked in. I very much dislike being given a price when booked, only to have 2 additional charges when we arrive. Fortunately, the $25 was refunded when we checked out and we were not charged the $5 parking fee. We paid what was advertised when we booked. I wonder if we had not complained whether we would have been charged the amount at checkin? I was not a happy camper when we checked it.

Friendly staff, cleanliness, location. The room was delightful clean and spacious. Location was easily accessible and convenient for travel around the city.

Slow check-in process; only two check-in staff on a Sat. afternoon during the 4pm arrival, check-in time, and the line was long and no clear designation of where the line was; guests had to ask other guests, "Are you in line?" "Is this the line or end of line?" Never enough luggage carts or how to get one at entrance of hotel. This was during Hampton University's graduation wkend..More staff was needed. Noisy next room guests whose voices and conversations were distinctively clear through the walls; thankfully could only be heard from the bathroom..

Hotel very clean and location was awesome for our needs. Rooms very clean. Loved the room options.

Understaffed! Breakfast lines long at made to order. Clean up at eating area was also overwhelming for the one person cleaning. Housekeeping was non existent due to covid unless you asked and even when asked for blankets or towels they never came. Had to go to front desk to get toilet paper. Had to call security for domestic brawl outside our room. Sofa bed was broke.

Please add a suitcase holder to each room. I didn't like the fact we had to ask for towels and any other little things we needed. I needed a shower cap which non was offered. Other than that everything was great. The staff was very nice and the hotel was beautiful. We loved our stay and will refer others there. We will return again.

Location was awesome for traveling back and forth to visit sister. The first level was beautiful, happy hour, breakfast👌🏾 My brother, sis in law, nephew and his wife, my daughter and I stayed for the weekend.

I booked this room through booking.com and it was supposed to be 242.00 around that amount. The young man I spoke with on the 29th confirmed the reservation and price. I just looked at my receipt and was charged 150.00 more😭😭 I Had a prior reservation that I made directly through the hotel but was to high so I cancelled the first reservation and booked right afterwards thru booking.com. I will call hotel the tomorrow for refund. BUT I loved the place and I would definitely visit again. Amy Bamisaye
