Red Roof Inn Hampton Coliseum and Convention Center

The location was perfect as we were attending a show at the Coliseum. It was cold and the room was as expected - warm, with immediate hot water in the cold for the shower, and a functioning sink and toilet. Free WiFi on the grounds, easy to connect to, and parking just outside.

It was a little expensive but we booked the hotel fairly late, so according to demand that made complete sense - if people are attending an event at the Coliseum, would recommend as it was a short 10 minute walk away.

The convenience of the facility was the best. It was near everything that I wanted to visit. The person that checked me in was kind of off-putting but nice.

When I went to check in there were many staff just hanging out in the lobby. This can be concerning to someone from another city. The ice machine did not work.

I arrived late for my check in bout an hour late I called to inform of my tardiness the gentleman said no problem I get to the hotel and my king sized room handicapped on the ground levels was no longer available I was given a deluxe double bed room no problem I still had a room then bout a couple hours into my stay the guy from the front desk called me again to see if I was still checking in I was completely and totally confused as he had already checked me he apologized for the inconvenience and that was that no more problems or concerns I’d be happy to stay at this location again

The location was great for my attendance of the 2022 Annual Conference of the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church. It was a surprisingly quiet location, despite its proximity to Langley AFB & several major streets.

The mini-frig took too long to chill simple bottled water. The microwave oven sounded like something was grinding & probably ought to be replaced.

cleanliness and location

asked for 1st floor room and was told one didn’t exist and was given a 3rd floor room that was a smoking room and still had ashtrays in the room as I was being told it wasn’t a smoking room. all of the sudden a 1st floor room became available. I feel the front desk staff misled me in believing there wasn’t a 1st floor room available when the room was already clean and available the entire time.

We liked the location and the staff. Beds were comfy. Was clean when we arrived and just cozy considering there were four adults and a baby.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very nice and ready to help when we needed anything. The location was good. Close to all the stores we needed and close location to the beach.

I enjoy the stay me and my wife the room was excellent very quiet the front desk clerk was extremely nice to me as I was in pain gave me first floor I didn't have climb no steps

Staff is the best. My crew and I always stay at Redroof for shows at the Coliseum. 10 years they have let us do our thing. Redroof is apart of the fam for sure.

Clean, spacious room with good water pressure in the shower. I like the desk set up and all of the charging ports. I really like that they allowed my dog at no extra charge!

Maybe some fresh paint to cover the gashes on the wall.

Me and my hubsand was coming to Virginia to meet a best friend and this is the motel I picked. It is a nice place to stay and nice ppl. And right amongst all of attractions and. Eating place’s. So I do highly recommend this motel.
