Extended Stay America Suites - Hampton - Coliseum

The staff was very professional and nice. Mrs. B, Maggie, Tyrell, the beautiful tall African-American young lady who was so nice to find me regular sugar instead of the Splenda. :) Coffee in the lobby is a big hit! No noise was heard in the hotel or out. Plenty of parking. Again, the front desk staff it what makes your stay enjoyable.

I guess I'm use to complimentary soaps, shampoo, etc. There was only soap, 2, the size of a half dollar. I'm also use to USB ports on the lamp base or clock to charge your phone, etc. We had to unplug the lamp and clock to plug up our phone and my C-Pap machine. So bring your own soap, possibly an extension cord and charging bases. There were no pots, utensils, plates, etc in the cabinets, so I don't know if that is something you have to ask for at the front desk or your to bring your own. The bathtub had a dengy look , there were red streaks of makeup (I hope) around the bathroom sink and dry hair on the bathroom ceiling, from people blow drying their hair. I understand COVID protocols, but housekeeping should be more thorough between guest visits.

The hotel and staff were very friendly helpful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone possible 😊 which is why I always choose the extended stay of America Hampton Coliseum Virginia... Great place to call home especially when you really matters and just want to get away and relax.. Thks kindly Lawanda Carter!!

No complaints..

I love the friendly staff who went above and beyond to accommodate me when I had issues with my room. I also love the cleanliness, convenient location, and facilities.

I didn't like the fact that my recliner chair did not work. I also didn't like the fact that my phone could not receive nor make any local calls. However, I was able to dial the front desk.

I didn't like the fact that my hotel phone did not work; I was only able to make outbound calls to the front desk. I was unable to receive calls and make local outbound calls.

We have a price point we seek when we are just needing a place to sleep on our road trip. We are usually very disappointed with what we get for that price. This hotel was clean, the room was clean and fresh. We slept great and would stay here again.

There were no washcloths provided, which seemed odd. Just bath towels.

The front desk clerk was pleasant

The rooms are overpriced to not have a hot breakfast bar/lounge or service. Didn't care for the grab and go breakfast. The vending machine wasn't accepting credit or debit cards

The location is great. Right in the middle of everything, stores, malls, restaurants and close to highway.

Was gonna stay another night but couldn't find a rate at this hotel that matched the rate of the same brand hotel a few blocks away.
