Motel 6-Troutville, VA

It was a nice and clean room. Very quiet which was appreciated. Would stay again.

The front desk lady didn’t really say much to me except I right away asked to pay cash and she said she already ran the card. That resulted in an overdraft fee from my bank which made the room not such a great value. Couldn’t run as a refund or that would’ve taken days and I still had an overdraft fee to pay. 😡I wish that the employees would greet me and ask if I wanted to pay with the card listed. A thank you or enjoy your stay or anything really.

staff was no hassle. Law wasn't here too much not that it really matters but that's a telltale sign of activities I care not to be around. Pretty cool that you can bring your dogs with you I guess you can bring a cat or a squirrel or rabbit I don't know. Locations pretty good for my needs.

Could have had a better mattress, it was clean but just a little stiffer than I prefer ,a bigger TV. I don't have the fire stick or Hulu or any of that so as far as I'm concerned there could have been more channels on the TV.

The place is clean. You have easy access to the facilities and the parking spots are bigger than most other places so you don’t have to worry about your car getting scratched up. There is also big truck parking for people pulling trailers or tractor trailers. The rooms are plenty big enough. We stayed in a double and there was an area that my kids could play. Oh and don’t forget PET FRIENDLY. there is a big grassy area for you to walk your dogs and let them go potty. The staff is amazing and friendly. Easy check in and the housekeeping staff are attentive and respectful.

The only complaint I have is that the mattress slides around on the platform it sets on.

Our first room did not meet our expectations due to a smokey smell. We had requested a non-smoking room online) It was very late and we were very tired. My daughter suffers from severe allergies and didn't feel well. I went to the office and asked if there was another non-smoking room we could move to. The hotel was packed to capacity, but some people had not yet checked in. Selinda - the person on desk duty worked her magic and found us another perfect room. It took her some time, but she went above and beyond and with some finagling was able to meet my request. She had a great attitude, and even late at night she was so pleasant and understanding. We really appreciated her efforts.

Make sure rooms that are designated non-smoking are checked before occupancy.

The rooms are comfortable clean and spacious the staff is always friendly and it's a good deal for the price.

The rooms are getting a bit older now couple use a bit of sprucing up but they still aren't bad. That's the only negative if you even want to call it one.

The staff was very friendly. There was plenty of parking. The washer and dryer were in great condition and the cost was extremely reasonable. Will still stay again!

The deadbolt worked fine but the security jam was broken off. When we arrived and got into our room a used bar of soap had been left on the side of the tub and there was a dog treat in the middle of the bathroom floor.

I liked it was close to the interstate and the fact it was very close to several restaurants.

Our room had a sink faucet loose— just like our room 3 weeks ago—- no one ever collected our garbage — the housekeepers don’t understand English— I’m sorry but if you live in the US — you should know how to speak ENGLISH...... or at least be able to tell you something ..

Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Good area to walk my dog. Restaurant (Angelle's) nearby is good for breakfast. And I had my car serviced at Valvoline Oil change next door.

No complaints.

It was a nice Motel ....clean....beds were comfy....right off 81. The smoke alarm was not connected it was laying on the shelf.
