Ocean Key Resort

The location to the beach was great! Wasn't a busy part of the beach, which was nice not to be crowded. The separate living area and kitchenettes were nice. Kids loved the pool and hot tub. The free parking

How thin the walls were. You could hear everything. Especially since we were right across from the elevator. Made it hard to sleep. Would have liked a pool that was outside since the weather was so nice. The parking garage. It was busy the weekend we went, and they have these big pillars you have to squeeze next to if you don't get there early enough to grab another spot.

The rooms are very spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes. This makes cutting food cost easier. Each floor has an area where you can get rid of your trash and your recyclables . Free washer and dyers on 8 and 6. The massage therapist Jamie is amazing and affordable. The hot tub and pool were great when the beach was too hot. Had fun in the game room teaching my daughter to play pool. Staff is super friendly and amazing. Maintenance staff response time to a problem with your room is mind blowingly fast. Although we did not have a balcony, we still had an amazing view of the ocean and the marina. Was a great stay. I can't wait to come back.

I didn't know that breakfast was available. If the reception desk would have given that information at check-in, we definitely would have utilized it. It was nice to have a mni kitchen in the room, I made breakfast and a late lunch during our stay.

It would have been nice to have maid service come to clean our room while we were away for the day. This one is small, but would have helped a lot; the clothing iron got hot, but the steam was not functioning, so I wasn't able to get a good ironing on my clothes.

Very close to beach access, restaurants, and stores. The room was comfortable wnd was nice to have the kitchen/dishes.

The bathtub had mold and didn't drain properly, the batteries in the lock on the door were dying and we notified the staff over 3 times and it was never fixed during our stay, the parking deck is limited with the pillars obstructing many of the parking spots, and it would be nice to know that you need your license plate number when checking in so you don't have to walk to the top of the parking deck and back to get it. Also most of the front desk staff do not engage unless you speak to them. There was not clear communication on where to check in as there is not a front desk counter, rather people just sitting at office desks.

The room was clean and exactly how described. Staff greeted us with a smile and were able to accommodate our super early arrival (arrived at 730am and 1130am check-in!). We had a small issue with the TV not working in our living room area but they sent someone up who checked it out and replaced it within a half hour. The pool and hot tub were nice and the game room/workout area/lounge area were a really awesome surprise! Parking was adequate and we were fairly close to the sports complex. Perk was finding out we could enter the lounge area from the 3rd floor so we only had three flights of stairs to navigate to our floor (6th). Good value for the money!

One elevator was inoperable due to waiting on the city inspector to come out (they had been waiting almost 2 weeks for someone) so the wait was usually between 10-20 minutes if you wanted an elevator. We were on the 6th floor and I was too out of shape to be doing all those stairs multiple times a day. Lol THIS WAS NOT A HOTEL ISSUE BUT A CITY ISSUE!

This was our 1st time at this particular property. We were there for 1 night/2days. The location was perfect. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was perfect for my husband and I as well as our 2 daughters. The unit layout is great for a small family. The size of the unit is great as well. The indoor pool was a must for our 10 yr old. The property has plenty of amenities including gym, billiards, arcade, massage room etc.

I prefer master bedrooms with an in room bathroom. This unit had an in room bathroom in the 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds. I’d like the in room bathroom being in the master bedroom.

The location was perfect; we were walking distance to so many things and ate at Sunnyside diner every day. It was a quick and easy walk to the beach, which was beautifully clean and even the waves were calm! The hallways were hot in the hotel, but our room was frigid cold, just the way we like it. It made for great sleeping in the first comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever experienced. The room was more like an apartment, with a fridge, stove, oven, and living room. Even our view was great. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. Especially considering we booked last minute (the day before arrival) and the cost was way less than anywhere else in the area. I could rave about this place nonstop. We will absolutely be back again!

3 outlets in our bedroom didn’t work, which just made charging phones/etc annoying. But that’s all :)

The staff was very friendly. It was very clean. The location was awesome. The restaurant connected is very good. Parking was plentiful. The pool and hot tub were clean.

When we tried to exchange our towels they didn't have any. We weren't given a blanket for the sofa bed. We finally got the blanket and the towels after the laundry closed.we had been asking for the blanket since 5am and the towels half the day. So my granddaughters got cold the first night even tho we used the throws from the car. The master bath had a toilet that wouldn't stop running. All day finally I looked at it and fixed it. The toilet stopped up and over flowed. Then when we were checking out. They didn't give back my cash deposit. I had to call twice they said they are going to get a money order and send to my home. We will see. The review isn't showing the good. There was more good than bad....

This is a very clean and well maintained property, the staff was super friendly and helpful. It’s a block from the oceanfront and convenient to everything you could need. Very spacious, like a mini apartment!

My neighbors were loud and the children running through the halls at 2am were being very loud, although “quiet time” is posted on the pamphlet as 11p to 7a. The pool had way too much chlorine, bleached my swimsuit! You could smell it throughout the building.

I was impressed the Time Share had hours set for only Adults to use the pool and hot tub on ground floor. I was also delighted with using a full kitchen and dishwasher that just having a mini fridge and maybe a microwave that other hotels with the outdoor direct ocean view gave.

It was far away from the action of 18th street. Plus I was not able to get a room facing the ocean directly. That’s only given to time share holders
