Wonderful location, staying within historic properties.

They’re old buildings, so there was some quirkiness to the rooms. Our shower head was in an incredibly inconvenient location and only worked well if you were 5’2” or under. I was mostly fine, but my husband who is average height struggled. The other two rooms our family stayed in had normally-placed shower heads, so I guess it’s luck of the draw. Our bath tub was also slow to drain.

Breakfast was delicious. The waitstaff were attentive and kind.

I am not sure if this is a suggestion for the property or CWF but I miss not seeing an abundance of costumed interpreters. When I had last come, it made you feel like you were visiting a lively community. Now, with my daughter, we felt more disconnected to the town and it’s stories.

location and that it was truly hundreds of years old

no toilet paper at all. I did not see a number to call…..until the next morning when I saw it in a pamphlet. I tried the Williamsburg Hotel but no one picked up the phone.

Did not have breakfast, but enjoyed 3 evening meals.

Bed was too high and there was no step stool provided. The back door lock would not open with the supplied key, and it was quite inconvenient to get baggage to a door that would open. Wished more venues were open.

The location on the Main Street of Colonial Williamsburg is great. Our room backed onto the back garden and was very quiet. It was a pleasant 10 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops in Market Square, just outside of the historical area. Free parking in a lot very close by. After a little confusion caused by conflicting instructions from booking.com, we checked in at the Williamsburg Inn. Front desk staff there was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The room and ensuite bathroom were quite small. No shelves in cupboard or room in the chest of drawers to be able to unpack your suitcase. On the second floor with not elevator. Not a problem at all for us, but for someone who has problems with stairs or who has a heavy suitcase, it would be a problem.

I loved the room. I loved the location.

First was the fact they didn't have our paid reservation so the room we got was a last minute thing which was great. However upon checking out I got charged with a "Resort Fee", apparently that is not covered by Booking.com. I used the room. That was it. No bells. No whistles. No special treatment. No special services. Where's the "Resort"?

The Colonial Tavern, the history, it’s around everything

Sheets had something crusty on them, tv didn’t work- maintenance fixed it then broke again. (English and Spanish spoke over each other ) , windows were cracked in several areas and I rubbed the crack to see if it was on the outside and cut myself, the entrance/exit in the back- someone locked it from the outside and we couldn’t get out.

Amazing location. Really cool to stay in the historic part of town. Loved it. Perfect for family.

Rooms need an update, but still decent. Map handouts were confusing to get to the room.

Air conditioning did not work well in room 3051 and the shower was very awkward due to how it was incorporated into the roof line.
