Upon arrival greeted and welcomed and given excellent customer service Our friend Gary made sure we had everything we needed and went beyond to show us comfort and is really appreciated for all the help he had given us. We also watched a movie during g our stay and was welcomed at breakfast as well. Thank you

Pool could've been a little more clean and had an issue with the housekeeping staff in the beginning because our room had a number of cleanliness issues. Gary made sure the beds were proper and the bathroom was clean. The coffee maker and ice bucket were not clean and he made sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner. After that everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful stay.

The hotel is very convenient to Busch Gardens and any of the Williamsburg attractions. It's an older hotel, but still well maintained and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the showers very hot.

The staff seemed unhappy and not as punctual as most hotels. Upon check-in, I discovered I had no towels. When I asked for some, they explained their dryer was slow (it was around 2 pm so completely understandable). I asked them to be put into the room and explained I would be back later that night. At 9pm, still no towels, and when I asked for some at the front desk, I heard the same dryer message, and they were unsure if any was ready. Thankfully, a couple was finished.

Everything ..staff is always outstanding and helpful when ever possible

I had to set a few kids ( teens ) straight in pool ( actually hot tub) etiquette they were eating cheetos or dorito chips and dropping them in tub etc typical kids stuff from the side but when they started blowing their noses on each other mucus etc it the tub I had to put a stop to it and get on them ...we come down a few times a year so I can enjoy the hot tub with my injuries and disabilities and finding myself becoming more at odds with the teens because of lack of supervision from parents and would like a staff member to atleast walk thru on occaision if possible I have no problem with kids being kinds actually enjoy watching them have fun but more and more it's crossing the line of disrespect not sure anything can really be done

Perfectly located between Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg, there’s plenty to see and do over a weekend or a bit longer. The nods to history throughout the property and gorgeous architecture are definitely stunning and I can only imagine how it would look done up during the holidays! Pretty clean, amazing and helpful staff and your requests are heard and typically done.

Due to it being an older building, some of the light fixtures are outdated. The light in the bathroom flickered for a good few seconds before turning on after the switch was hit, and the mini fridge, while convenient, could use a bit of an update on some parts as they’re definitely getting a bit worse for wear.

This was our fourth stay at this location. It's become our go to while visiting Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. The location is great, all the big attractions are only a short drive away. It has a beautiful and huge entry area that's very welcoming. The staff was always friendly and personable. We took advantage of the indoor pool, it was 20 degrees outside while we were there. the pool was well heated and vacant of other guests. the rooms are spacious and well decorated. We enjoyed being able to put drinks and snacks in the mini fridge.

The bathrooms are a little small. The beds were very uncomfortable. my bed was completely collapsed and my wife's was hard as concrete. you could see on the floors were they had not been vacuumed, dusty under the beds. We also had issues with the lighting in the room. the entry way lite would not come on, and the bedside lite didn't work. With the window curtains closed the room was very dark. (good for daytime napping)

Nothing

It wasn’t what I thought it would be. The balcony had spiders web all over it. The room didn’t look like the picture. The breakfast was terrible, we had the same thing every day we were there. Both pools we out of commission. It look like a drab hotel to dark and the wi-fi didn’t work. I thought I paid for two queen sides bed but they were two full beds. And the bathroom was not like it was in the brochure, they were very very small. They need better furniture in the bedrooms, furniture everywhere else looked good. I want go back there again.

I liked the big indoor pool and hot tub inside. also the chill location and quiet peaceful life here. good plentiful bathrooms as well. quality balcony in each room with privacy on each side. nice firm bed. decent tv in the room with plenty of channels. really great water pressure in the shower. mostly nice calm staff. I liked the price most of all. Thursday and Friday night for about $260 in April. but outdoor pool was closed.

it would have been nice for them to have a game room. so I didn’t like that there was no game room. pool could have been more clean but it wasn’t too bad. roof there was leaking a little bit. the older cafeteria women was pretty rude and tense with all the guests. seems she was very overwhelmed and stressed out it felt uncomfortable to be in her presence at breakfast. the free breakfast didn’t taste that good so that could be improved. just scrambled eggs, biscuit with gravy, waffle maker, and a couple cereal options. the juice options we’re good. bathroom didn’t have ventilation but it’s older building so I understand. oh! no microwave in the bedroom that was a con. wish there was one.

The hotel is big and beautiful. Beautiful scenery off of my balcony. It was very comfortable. The pool was so big and clean. The location is excellent only five minutes from Busch Gardens. The staff (Ever and the other Concierge, who checked me in) was very friendly and accommodating. We checked in late and had lots of questions and recommendations. The beds were clean and comfortable. My one year old usually tosses and turns at night, not one time during our visit. They also offer a complimentary light breakfast in a dining setting.

The bathroom light kept glitching. It didn’t ever come on completely. On the weekend, no meat option is offered for breakfast.

Very nice lobby, decent hot breakfast, spacious rooms. Nice indoor pool and pool chairs.

The indoor pool is a far walk depending on where your room is. I checked in on a Wednesday and was told about hot breakfast in the morning and the coffee shop with specialty coffees, but when I went down Thursday morning I was informed the specialty coffee shop was open only on weekends. Disappointing. The light on the balcony was bright and didn't see a way to turn off and it came thru a crack in curtains and right in my face all night. Tried moving curtains several times but nothing helped. Only trash can I could find in the room was a small one in the bathroom. Despite all this, I'd still stay there again. Very good hotel for the price.
