The young man that was taking care of the breakfast went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. he was very pleasant and he smiled and communicated effectively. he invited us back saying we always had a home there and was always welcome. I had a extensive back surgery I haven't slept that well in a bed in years. the mattress was extremely comfortable.

Beds were so comfortable and clean along with the entire room and bathroom!! Loved the Dove products too!! Smell so fresh!! The breakfast had so many choices!! Liked the fresh scrabbled eggs batter then the omelet the next day. The sausage, bagels with cream cheese, fresh fruit, oj, apple juice and coffee all hit the spot!! Chen at the front desk was so nice and helpful!! Thank You for a great stay!!

Something for 9 and older kids to do, maybe a game room!! They did go outside and had a catch!! We were exhausted from our 6 hour drive and to have something for the kids to do after all the sitting would be a nice touch! Thanks again!!

I was really impressed by the design and furnishings of my room. The bedding and the bed itself were extremely comfortable and I really liked having as much desk space as this property made available. The overall feeling of cleanliness and being new really boosted my impression. We have a family member who will attend William & Mary soon and when I got home from my trip, I got in touch and recommended that we use this Holiday Inn Express as our base when we go to visit. Highly recommended!

Honestly, the only thing I can think of was that the shower for was a little slippery. Easily corrected!

The staff at the Williamsburg location is fantastic. I have already told friends and family about how accommodating the front desk staff is and how they went above and beyond to welcome me to their location. Jennifer and the manager on duty were phenominal!!!!

The shower is really finicky. The water pressure is okay but the temperature regulation is insane. Choices are either freezing cold or scalding hot. There is no happy medium. My husband and I played with the settings for over 15 minutes before giving up and just burning ourselves. It wasn't just our room either because this was the second time I've stayed at this location and the other room was exactly the same.

The front desk people are marvelous! They always made sure we had everything we needed and they're so kind and friendly. I wish I would have thought to get their names so I could call them all out by name! One morning the coffee station ran out of half and half, and when we asked if they had more, they not only refilled the station, but found us at the breakfast area and brought some to us personally. Which they certainly didn't have to do but it's little things such as this that I really appreciate. Poor hospitality can really put a damper on any trip, and I'm happy to say we did not experience that here. Will definitely stay again. Also, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean with everything we needed.

Convenient location, nice surrounding area, plenty of parking, efficient check in, cleanliness of grounds and lobby/breakfast area, good variety of breakfast options. Overall, the room was clean (a big part of the reason we selected this hotel was based on the cleanliness rating but see further comments on specifics for the room).

This was my first experience in any hotel with scratchy, dingy towels (every single towel provided) - made me a bit uneasy about the effectiveness of their laundering method. Also shower door track and shower drain needed better cleaning and the sink drained very, very slowly. Not a fan of the layout with the sink right inside the exterior door. And to all hotels - would love if they provided two bathmats - one for the shower area and one for in front of the sink (I always ask for an extra).

The location of this hotel is PHENOMENAL!! Being a Rollercoaster enthusiast, the fact that you can look down the street & see the top of Griffon's lift hill just blew me away. Busch Gardens is LITERALLY within walking distance!!! Spectacular! Friendly staff, spacious & comfortable rooms, affordable, CLEAN... I just can't say enough good things about the place. Stay here!

The Staff was fantastic, polite and respectful. The lobby was beautiful and the rooms were decorated in a lovely manner. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

The room, when I first entered it, smelled of urine. I turned on the bathroom exhaust fan and went downstairs to ask for a room change. They were booked. I asked if they had any Febreeze or something similar to spray and the person at the desk found some for me. I used it and it helped the room's odor. I only smelled a hint of the urine the next day.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Rooms had up to date technology. Exceptionally clean hotel!! The premises too were very clean. The staff were very friendly and professional, especially those at the breakfast area. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of options. My boys looked forward to breakfast every morning :) WE will stay here again, whenever in that area.

It was more than what I expected. I loved everything about this place. I am trying hard to think about what I didn't like, and I can't find any.

The woman checking us in was very pleasant and we had a good laugh. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The man working breakfast was very friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed. He even went above and beyond to help remove a wasp that got into the building. Everyone in the packed breakfast area cheered for him and thanked him for removing it.
