Nice generic hotel in a great location - with walking distance of the metro (Foggy Bottom-GWU station) and the White House and other DC attractions. My room was large (big window with great view of M Street) and very clean. Hair dryer, ironing board and iron were also in the room. The American breakfast was complimentary. I didn't have time to take advantage of the pool or gym, but they were included in the price. The Walgreens store is just around the corner. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back there during my next visit to DC.

The WiFi was not secured at all (no WPA/WPA2-Personal or WPA2/WPA3-Personal) - it was just an open WiFi connection. I was very disappointed by this, as I had been assured a few times much earlier that I would have a secured WiFi connection. The air-conditioning in my room was pretty loud, but it didn't bother me that much. My Mastercard at the check-in didn't work, so I had to use another card, which I didn't want to use at all. The hotel staff told me to contact my bank, but it turned out that it was an internal blockage of the hotel, not the bank. The staff is more or less ok, however they could be a little more helpful.

Large room with lounge area and work space. The room overlooked the M Street with a view of the street. Excellent breakfast and comfortable stay. The hotel is walking distance to Dupont Station and other places of interest in DC.

My credit card was overcharged by USD 670 (day 1 charge + tax charge in addition to the full amount charge) but the reception staff were unhelpful to resolve the matter. Even though I showed the transactions listed on the credit card they were unwilling to help. Very disappointing response from the reception staff. I had to call Booking.com helpline and lodge a complaint and subsequently the charges were corrected/rectified.

Location is great! Staff are great, very accommodating and professional. Really willing to help! Sohail, the Supervisor is superb, and the Maintenance guy plus Derek- in charge of Valet Parking are very good and helpful. The cleaning ladies are very helpful and they clean very well! This hotel is in very good location and very clean! We will definitely come back and stay here when around DC a nd will surely recommend to our families and friends!

Parking is expensive! Not much of a view from the room! Breakfast is good but but can use some improvement!

The bedroom was exceptionally big with a very comfortable bed. There was very little noise from outside and the facilities within the room were excellent. There was also a large and very clean bathroom. The breakfast was very good with a good choice of food. The breakfast area was kept very clean and food dishes were constantly replenished when emptied. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Marie on reception who went out of her way to assist us on a number of occasions. It’s 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro station, which brings you directly to the Washington Mall and Capitol Building. There are a number of restaurants and cafes nearby but you need to go further afield for a better selection.

There is very little around this area at nighttime, so you will need to travel if you require bars, restaurants and entertainment. However there is plenty of choice with transportation with the metro and buses close by.

Our stay was very pleasant, I only gave an 8 because the refrigerator in our room wasn't keeping drinks cold at all, and was leaking water on the floor. I told the front desk, and as pleasant as the gentleman behind the desk was, he said he would have someone right up to fix it. But no one ever showed. So we did go with warm beverages in 80-degree weather for 2 days. But the pool was one of the nicest pools we've seen in a hotel, very refreshing and clean. Also, the staff was amazing, like they actually enjoyed their job, which was also very refreshing. Wide variety for breakfast, something for everyone. We have little kiddos, and they had a great time. Definitely recommend.

The bathroom door in our room didn't lock. With them being sliding doors, the little ones were obviously attracted to it. That led to some squished pickys and some not so private bathroom breaks. You will have to walk a bit for historical attractions, but we didn't mind so much. Also, the refrigerator in the room not working was a bummer.

Spacious room. Very clean. Very quiet. Valet, Derek, was nice and quick. The location was good.

One of the 3 elevators was broken, so it seems we had to wait every time. The breakfast was a beautiful presentation but not as tasty as it looked. It was also too small for the number of people in there and we were there on a week day. I can't imagine what it is like on a weekend. They also ran out of items. The pillows in our rooms were awful, and the towels looked like they came out of my rag pile. They were clean, but all frayed on the edges.

The hotel has a convenient location and is located in an excellent neighborhood. There are decent restaurants nearby and there is even a 7-eleven nearby. It is also suitable for visiting the monuments on the National Mall on foot, there are bus stops nearby, the metro station is 700 m away and the White House is 1.6 km away. Modern hotel, the room was the biggest I've stayed so far. Large floor-to-ceiling window with a nice view of the street. The bed was very comfortable as well as pillows filled with real feathers. The room also had a working desk with an office chair and a large relaxation area with a corner sofa reminiscent of the seventies. Large roof terrace on the 10th floor with comfortable seats for relaxation. However, the view was limited by higher surrounding buildings.

Sometimes noisy air conditioning and there is a fire station nearby. If they were in action at night, the sound of fire truck sirens always woke me up. At check-in, the receptionist announced that water in the pool, which is by the way in the basement, is cold. That was a big minus, since I chose a hotel with a pool. They should inform about this on the booking page, not during check-in. Breakfast started at 7 am and was quite varied, but with an emphasis on carbs. No vegetables or salami or ham. I only drank breakfast coffee the first day because I didn't like it. The plates and bowls were made of professional recycled material, the cutlery and the glasses made of plastic. It was a surprise for the hotel of a solid standard.

The hotel is located in a vivid area of Washington, there are a lot of caffès, restaurants and bars around the place. Breakfast was included what makes it very convenient.

The refrigerator in the room was broken, at first we didn’t get it and asked staff for a help to switch on it. Noone helped us or explained the problem. It was 100 degrees in shadow outside during our stay and working refrigerator in the room would help a lot at least to cool water.

Love the location. Staff was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was diversified and delicious. Room was spacious enough and clean. Bathroom was well equiped : hair dryer, shampoo, conditionner, shower gel and even a shower mat. Bed was comfy but some comforters need to be changed (inside padding needs to be changed). But overall, my stay was very awesome! Its perfect either for leisure or for work.

Rooms didn't have water. At least include 2 complementary bottles of water.

Half an hour from Regan Airport by metro door to door. An hour from Dulles. Ten minutes walk from the Foggy Bottom metro. A short walk from Dupont Circle. Less than 20 minutes door to door by metro to the Smithsonian. And 20 mins walk to the White House Decent sized room. Breakfast included which was OK. Friendly staff Didn't get a chance to check the pool or roof terrace

Maybe the room was a tad dark (depending on where your window is facing)
