Room: looked exactly the same in website photos. Beautiful, bed very comfortable, there is smart TV. Love the flooring on the room. Bathroom: Shower is big, water pressure is very strong, plenty of hot water. Toiletries are provided: shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand washing gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving kit, etc. There is a bidet, which we loved. Spotless and clean. Breakfast: There are Asian and Western choices in the buffet. There’s fried rice, veggies, noodles, tofu, bacon, sausage, different kinds of bread, cereal, marmalade, eggs, and many more. One can also made to order pancakes, omelettes, and pho included in the breakfast. We enjoyed coming down to breakfast every day. Staff: Kudos to the staff, they are all amazing! Amanda, Tracey, and Harry at the front desk made our stay extra special with their recommendations for day tours, money changers, restaurants, etc. They are always smiling and happy to help. We highly recommend Hanoi Calista Hotel to everyone planning to visit Hanoi in the future.

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is about a 10 minute walk from Hoan Kiem lake in the centre of Hanoi. The hotel is down a small road just off the main road so it is quiet in the evenings. We had some great breakfasts at the hotel and there was always plenty of fresh fruit available. The hotel is very flexible and tries hard to help the different needs of its guests. We actually stayed at the hotel for four nights but visited Halong bay part way through our time in Hanoi. The hotel were happy to store baggage if you were on a trip such as to Sapa or Halong bay for a few days. On our first stay at Hanoi Calista Hotel, we stayed on the second floor but were woken up early by people leaving early for a trip. We spoke to the staff and they changed our room for our second stay. A big thank you to Miss Amanda for all her help!

The rooms on the second floor are open to the reception area, if you are a light sleeper you may find you are disturbed by guests going on early morning trips. We spoke to Miss Amanda and she changed our room for the rest of our stay.

Nice hotel just outside Hanoi city center. It's easy to walk to all the main attractions. The reception staff was very nice and helpful, even before we arrived they helped us arrange a food tour and a trip to Lan Ha bay and transportation from the hotel back to the airport. The hotel was fine, but in my opinion, not deserving of a 9,4/10 as it currently stands.

My room was rather small (my parents' room was considerably bigger). Breakfast was around the corner and not in the actual hotel and whilst you could order pancakes and eggs, it was rather basic and didn't have a lot of choice.

Note- We booked the Calista hotel but they put (upgraded?) us in the apartment suite not the actual Callista hotel room so our experience might be different (we never actually saw the hotel rooms). The apartment suite was great though! room was very spacious and clean. It offered a washing machine which was a nice add!

We weren’t real sure if it was an upgrade or not moving to the apartment and weren’t asked if we wanted the upgrade. All things considered though it was a good room for the price.

Newly inaugurated. That means everything is new and clean and price still moderate. I've easily decided for high score feedback. Rooms are smaller than average but well organized. Breakfast looks limited at first sight but at the end you won't miss anything. Congenial location in Hoan Kiem. Staff is the strongest point of Calista: always on the ball, competing for perfection, driven by the perfect manager. Congrats to property on recruiting such a great staff. Definitively I like the project. If you stay in HaNoi one week or more, you would probably prefer more spacious rooms and more facilities. If you stay 2 or 3 days and you want to visit the main attractions of the city, Calista is a perfect choice. I hope property and staff will keep on working at their best and will keep on deserving my 5stars review. Bonus track: If you are lucky, during weekends or holydays, you can meet a lovely cosplayer presiding over breakfast service: the most sensational encounter of the year!

I suggest to improve small rooms with some more details (hooks, hangers, spotlight for shave/make-up, etc...)

The staff went above and beyond. I checked in with my 11yr old, they said the room we had booked only had one bed (no problem for us) so they upgraded us, free of charge. We had arrived in Hanoi a day earlier than planned and already had accommodation booked and paid, Miss Amanda at reception checked when the next guest were due and gave us a late check-out until 2pm as we wouldn't be able to check in to the other hotel until then. The breakfast was tasty and the choice was great, yes the room was small but we had no problems. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend to others.

We stayed at the Calista apartment multiple times during our trip to Ha Noi. Everything exceeds our expectations. The apartments are actually in a different building about 20 ft from main hotel. We stayed in both 1 BR and 2BR apartment. The 2 BR is a bit dark, could use some natural light.The size is really big. Bathroom is huge, even compared to US standard. Having washer/dryer is a big plus. Location is perfect , within walking distance of train street (5 minutes) and Hoàn Kiếm lake. The hotel staff is very professional and kind. They even offered to pack to go breakfast for us since we have to take early flight. They also arranged transportation for us from airport. We highly recommend this establishment for your trip to Ha Noi. If we come back, we won’t hesitate to stay at Calista.

2 BR a bit dark, but since we were out all the times, it didn’t bother us that much.

The Hanoi Calista is in a great location in the old quarter. It's centrally located for lots of attractions and eating places and very close to train street. We stayed here for six nights and loved it. The staff are so friendly and helpful with anything you need. Breakfast was really good and a good selection. Our room was very comfortable. A large king size bed, beautiful balcony, space to put your suitcases. A kettle with tea and coffee and two bottles of water each day. There is a safety deposit box in the wardrobe. Nice size bathroom and free WiFi. We had a great stay here.

The staff were amazing!! They were always friendly and tried their best to meet our needs. Most of the staff spoke English fluently, they helped us book for tours and also made reservations at restaurants. They always greeted us with smiles and were always willing to help us.

The facilities were all great except for the shower, everytime we showered, water would come out and wet the floors because there wasnt a good seal on the shower door. But it wasn't a massive inconvenience. However, everytime we left or came back there was a stench of cigarette smoke in the hallway. So other guests might have been smoking in the building. It wasnt a big issue just a little annoying having to smell smoke everytime we leave or come back to the room.

The staff was exceptional and Amanda went the extra mile to make us comfortable. Tommy and the rest of the team too. The room was large and beds, pillows were very comfortable.

The location was central but the hotel was divided into 2 buildings and the road on which Calista hotel where you had to check in and wait for tours etc road was not very pleasant with cooking on the road and vegetables being washed etc. The larger rooms/apartments are located in another building, Hanoi Central, close by on another road with treacherous steps down with no railing. The breakfast was in a dingy room in the basement int this building and was not good so we skipped it. You have to remember to put your used toilet paper in a trash can and not flush it! The massage is in another basement and massages were ok. The therapists are very demanding of high tips.
