The hotel was very comfortable, rooms nice and clean wit a great bathroom. We ate dinner in the restaurant and bar, the food was good and waitress very friendly.

Did not like the fact that the hotel advertised its convenient shuttle bus to airport. We waited close to 40 minutes at 6am in the freezing cold for the bus which was supposed to be there every 10-15 minutes. Also the bus dropped us off in the airport car park and we had to walk 15 minutes in the freezing cold to get to the terminal. Sorry but this is a deal breaker, will not stay here again as a result!

Comfort, location & price.

Airport shuttle should go to each terminal on departure instead of the fixed location. There are only two terminals and it is not complicated. Instead of an unnecessary walk to take the flight. A longer walk.

The room was superb with a very good quality quilt and bedding. It was spacious and the ensuite was superb. The TV was good along with the soundproofing.

One day the cleaner never bothered only half did the room. Also she left the window open and when I got in from work some 13 hours later it was Baltic. Regularly rang reception on an evening and nobody answered, when I went down and complained they said they were too busy checking people in. It seems like they aren't that bothered about long term guests. Also asked for a corporate rate for a 3 month stay which was higher than the BDC price?? Also hotel has only one restaurant, which doesn't take bookings.

Room was clean, basically a typical high end hotel room that you find all over the world. Breakfast was absolutely outstanding, world class. We also had dinner, and the fish chowder (labelled clam chowder) was outstanding.

I did not know that smoking is allowed in the hotel rooms, and that we were given a smoking room. Fortunately there was no smoking odor, but it would have nice to know this in advance in order to request a no-smoking room.

The rooms were big and comfortable. It was warm. The place was clean and there were lots of options for food. The location was good as there was a 24 hour service station opposite which was handy. I was able to check in an hour early which was helpful.

The hotel didn't take GBP and had no money exchange facility. Not having enough milk sachets in the room and no mini fridge to store the milk I bought. No hair conditioner, which seems irrelevant, but if you are flying it is a pain to have to travel with liquids through airports.

Coffee Doc and food was good in the restaurant.

I was travelling alone and all single travellers seemed to be seated together in a small back area of the restaurant/bar which was shabby. Tables scratched, lighting poor, dark and not of the same quality furnishing as the rest of the restaurant. I was finishing a second drink after dinner and about to order a coffee and desert but was asked to relief my table for a couple who were waiting. 3 single gentleman (solo also) who were there before me were not asked to move.

Very clean and a nice lobby!

The housekeeper was banging on our door at 7am just to ask when we were leaving. When booking the hotel, it said check-out was 11am. We had 12 hours of traveling that day and we were woken up for no reason. We then put do not disturb on our door knob and went to breakfast and when we came back, she flipped it to please clean room. Never have I ever been woken up by housekeeping to ask when I was leaving.

I recently stayed at the Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport, and it was a great experience. The hotel is really close to the airport, so it's super convenient if you're traveling. When I arrived, I was greeted by warm and welcoming staff, eager to ensure a pleasant stay. The check-in process was swift, and I was swiftly guided to my room. A very special mention must go to the gentleman working the night shift, whose exceptional service truly made a difference. He went above and beyond to assist me, even going as far as printing an important document for me. I’m incredibly grateful for his assistance. The room was really nice and clean, and the bed was really comfortable. Despite being near the airport, it was really quiet in the room, so I got a good night's sleep. The hotel also has a gym if you want to exercise and stay active…

This hotel is very convenient and we loved the access to the free shuttle bus directly to the hotel. The staff were very helpful on arrival and organised a taxi for us on departure. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Check in and out was very simple and completed on my mobile.

The duvet on the bed was exceptionally hot and the bedroom and bathroom weren't totally clean. The reception on the TV was poor. There was some noise from other guests outside the room, however the sound proofed windows kept noise out from the road. The view from the window was limited due to part of a building blocking the view.

We stayed overnight to catch an early morning flight to Athens as travelling from west Cork. It was an additional cost but well worth it, avoiding a long trip to the airport the morning of the flight. The room was fine (didn't spend too much time there as got up so early), no complaints. The bar was good with a nice atmosphere, full of people travelling on holiday I expect. The best part of the hotel is the Italian restaurant. We had a great evening meal there, really good quality food and good service. The free airport shuttle is very handy, 10 minutes from Departures and easy to get back on return from Athens to collect the car.
