Location, staff, reputation

Our room was above the railway track and noisy; woke us early and unaware of this.

The staff were v pleasant and helpful; standard of decor and design was super; the lunch was great and again staff ( Manager I think) - nothing was any bother to him- v impressed

The breakfast staff were maybe a little premature at clearing breakfast away. When ticked that price was not what I had expected I understand that may have been due to tax increase but still feel we should have been charged at the price I had held it on.

We stayed in a king bed, club lounge room. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed eating a light breakfast at the club lounge on the roof top every day. We paid the extra fee to enter the spa. The pool has 4 jet types to turn on including number 4 waterfall which was a surprising favourite. I loved the pink walled salt sauna too.

The key cards to enter the club tower and lift with the key cards to use for the spa lifts and entry door were a bit complicated, especially after travelling for 18 hours. The light switch became much easier after a good sleep, we stopped opening and closing the curtains by accident. The location to public transport is excellent. The area under the bridge (around the corner, 200 metres from the hotel) with rough sleepers and beggars would not be good walking at night. We found a well lit, safe feeling pathway behind the station, straight across from the hotel so there were other ways to walk.

The hotel is certainly nice! The bed was among the most comfortable I can remember, and the high-tech switches are neat. There are nice touches, such as the robes and drinks/chocolates (thank you!) and the location is handy, across the street from the train/LUAS station and near the coaches to the airport. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful (might have caught someone in a stressful moment but nothing about which to complain -reception was great!); thanks to all!

The elevator. This was the one negative thing: a card is needed to operate it, but the reader was illiterate. Going down was easy enough, as there was always someone to call it down, but going up (or even calling it to go down) took some time. All else was fab though.

Location was excellent as we were at a concert in Croke Park, hence we booked it, we stayed in WB Yeats suite, for 513 euro for the night. The room was extremely nice but not 513 euro nice, I would stay there again, but suggest that people staying in a suite or paying that kind of money should be offered the use of all facilities available, ie, sauna, pool etc, we were told an extra 20 euro would need to be paid. The staff were excellent, very polite and friendly, Breakfast was gorgeous and lots of options, caters for every needs, As stated would stay there again but would review prices before stay

Extra to be paid for use of sauna, while having paid for a suite think this should be complimentary

The location is wonderful, the staff is kind and the beds are very comfortable!

The lights in the room turn on in the middle of the night due to sensors. The breakfast is repetitive, some fresh vegetables would be great.

The shower. The size of the bed and bedroom. The staff.

The club lounge room is not really well packed.

The hotel is super classy, very clean, smells like a spa, and has great facilities. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We had a few drinks at the bar - the prices were reasonable, and they had a wide range of drinks. The beds were big and so comfortable, well sized rooms and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. The location is also great - across the road from the train station even though we didn't use it, and in walking distance to the centre, shops and bars.

The price. I know the hotel is top in the area, and maybe it's a justified price for the area?! but good lord, the price tag for two nights with no breakfast included and having to pay even more if you wanted to use the pool / spa is a lot... I've stayed in other similar rated hotels, and more was included for the price for a longer stay. For the price, we expected everything to be exemplary and the toilet seat was a little squeaky and loose which wasn't ideal. We also expected the rooms to be a little bigger or have more facilities in the room for tea and coffee. However, the hotel is beautiful.

The aesthetic in the lobby, cafe, and bar/restaurant was well done. The lobby is made of brick, and is under a bridge that the trolley uses. This gives the entry a rounded ceiling that made me feel like I was in an old school speakeasy or something. Even though there is a train that runs above, it never disturbed us in our room. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. They even left us a "happy honeymoon" plate of treats in our room for us when we checked in. Our bed was pretty comfy & the curtains were blackout curtains so it made it easy to sleep in. They have a door bell & a door man if you are out late and need to be let back in. We were able to send our laundry down (for a fee) and have it cleaned in the morning, then ready for us that afternoon. The food was really good— a little expensive though.

Our room was not very big, so it was a little hard to manoeuvre around. It also had kind of a weird smell in our room & hallway. Luckily there is a bus stop close— all the cool things we wanted to see (Temple Bar, St.Stephen's Green, Grafton Street) were all about 30 or more minute walks; I thought City Centre meant it was closer to everything. A 30 minute walk isn't too bad, but the location is a bit dodgy, especially at night.

The man as reception was extremely helpful towards our stay. He welcomes us with a big smile and gave us as much information that we needed. He was a tall thin man I think he’s name was Vojtech but that could be wrong. The hotel is very close to the shopping streets where the spire is. The hotel is extremely modern and clean. Parking isn’t available there but there is the Irish life car park a 2 minute walk away and it was only €17 for the night. The food in the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We got bbq pulled pork and wings for starters and steak and a burger for mains. All was absolutely beautiful. The only thing we didn’t like was the heating in the room didn’t work well at all. It was quite cold

Only one lift was working. The heating in the room also didn’t work. It was ok during the night but it was quite cold when we went in first for a couple of hours.
