Great place! Don't be put off by the 2 stars! (Due to whatever senseless rules these were given!) The hotel is extremely clean! (I even took a picture of the bathroom grout, because I was so excited! :-)) The rooms are lovingly and nicely furnished. One notices immediately that it is a lovingly cared for family business. I have never seen such a clean bathroom, not even in a 5 star hotel!!!! Thanks for the wonderful stay!!!

Very nice staff, always ready to help you and give you information. It's a budget hotel, rooms are not that big, but are clean and with a nice bathroom. Went in the winter, lots of cold, but the Hotel was really warm. Its a 10 minute walk from the center, and 15 minute walk from Temple Bar. There are lots of public transportation at a 2 minutes walk that can take you everywhere

The hot water pressure was low, and depending the room you are, sometimes you might have issues with the internet network. Prices in Ireland went sky rocket in everything, including the hotels.

The owner and his daughter are very very kind, they made us coffee in the morning and we even got an irish Coffee in the evening. The rooms are very clean and we felt welcome. Hotels in Dublin are very expensive, and this hotel has a good price quality ratio. We can recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a bit outdated (but clean!). Unfortunately in the room next to us people were very loud, you can hear your neighbours when they are loud, so keep that in mind when you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. Other than that we liked our stay.

The service was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful with any request or tips. The double room offered enough space to store one large suitcase and also had enough space in the wardrobe. Two water bottles were made available every day. The location is fine as well, it takes about 5 minutes by foot to get to the main street and a 20-30 minute walk to more popular shopping areas. There are some smaller take-aways and fast food shops close by and a small cafe 1 minute away to get breakfast. For a short stay, I'd definitely recommend the place.

The only really bad part regarding the rooms was the noise. It seems to be an older building, so you could hear every single step and every word from the other guests. It almost sounded like they were walking in the same room. Depending on the other guests, this can be quite annoying, especially in the middle of the night. Noise-canceling headphones or earplugs helped - unless one is really sensitive to noise. A minor point was that the shower (the round one, I think other rooms had different showers) is a bit unpractical as the shower head is placed at an angle in which the water mostly runs down the door, not the person.

The staff were super friendly from Olga to the 2 other people over the course of night & next morning. The room was absolutely spotless. I mean spotless! And neat as a pin. Tiny, but perfectly set up. All I needed was a bed, TV and shower at a good price, and this was it. I was also thrilled that I could get coffee up to the room the next morning. I thought that was very nice. They also ordered a car for me. Just very friendly and accomodating.

There was really nothing and my stay was short. Perhaps if I were there roaming at night I might have been a bit unsure of the area. Or if my daughter was with and going out alone.... She left Dublin the day before. I was just there because I could not get on a flight.

Really lovely staff, they would stand and chat and give recommendations every time we saw them. We had water bottles given each time we came in which was lovely, too. It really is a great location for the price as it was in easy walking distance for us. Good sized room for the price, too - and comfy bed!

Would always love a kettle in the room, but the coffee shop opposite was nice enough. The room was very hot at times so we had to sleep with the window open, so inevitably we were woken a few times - not the fault of the hotel, though!

Deserving more stars, excellent value for money The hotel reception is staffed 24hrs (which is a huge bonus for 4am departures etc) but more importantly they are friendly, welcoming and helpful no matter the hour, very professional. The rooms are immaculately cleaned every day with fresh linen and towels. Communal areas are well decorated and spotless. Excellent location for quick and easy accessibility to the heart of town and the Green tour bus 24hr pass 2nd stop (you'll understand once there). PS: loved the free sweets at reception 😍

Great location and price, and a lovely staff! It was an easy walk to Dalymount Park for a Bohs match, and just as easy a walk to bus day trip departures, Museums, Temple Bar, and most of the other City Centre attractions. The room was modest, but very clean and the bed was comfortable. As I was only in town for three days and traveling solo, it was perfect for me. Koffee + Kale across the street had great vegan breakfast offerings.

The shower in my single room was tiny - I've never felt so fortunate to be an average size human. The walls are thin, so I could hear my next door neighbor coughing and wheezing at night. To be fair, he was REALLY coughing hard - I hope he is okay. Earplugs solved that problem for me.

It was exceptionally clean and had a very modern bathroom. The staff were lovely and took a genuine interest in each guests stay and helped out where ever possible. Even the little things like having a fresh bottle of water each day show the effort the staff put in to the guest experience.

The only downside I saw was the lack of a fridge.

Although the premises in itself were old, the rooms (and especially bathrooms) were renovated recently. We liked the thermostat style tap in the shower. Water pressure was good, no complaints here. Also, everything was clean spotless. Staff was very friendly and always up for small talk. The room in itself wasn't very large, but that didn't matter much, as we spent our time discovering the city ;) We loved the beds, they were very comfy!

As the hotel is in an older building, it doesn't live up to modern standards, especially noise related. Expect creaky floorboards and no soundproofing whatsoever. We didn't mind, but if you're VERY sensible, that might be a minus. Water pipes from the boiler seem to be long, we had to open the shower tap for two minutes or so until water was at it's maximum temperature.
