All was great. Check in was smooth. The room was really small but since we were staying for 2 nights and spent most of our time in the city it was not a problem! The place was clean and the beds were comfy.

The hotel is warning you that since their ecological approach there is no A/C in the smaller rooms (for 2 people) we were there in February so I thought that it is not going to be a problem, but since the room was small it got heated quickly. First night was worse because we forgot to turn off the heating but also in the second night it got warn inside and we had to open the window. As I am saying, it was February so the cold wind made the room cooler but I can imagine that it wouldn’t really help in summer heats. Also doors to bathroom were sliding doors which left a crack between the doors and the walls and we could hear some kind of ventilation buzzing the whole time. So that may be a problem for some people who are either light sleepers or can’t fall asleep to any noise.

The hotel itself is very pretty. I liked the aesthetic and the people working there were all great. Anything we needed / requested they helped us with. The rooms were small but we didnt need any extra amenities. Also they were quite clean. We spent most of the time outside so we only used our room for sleeping. The location for the price you pay is probably the best plus, you are super close to buses or the tram, same as very cool locations you can get by at a walking distance.

If I had to say anything, In the summer, rooms do get really hot. they give you a fan which gets the job done to be able to sleep. But I understand how people who are sensitive to heat would complain or wont find this a good option.

I slept for 3 nights in a men dorm for 8. The room was clean, as the bathroom. Into your spot you have your plug and light, possibly the length is not adapated for tall people (>1.85) but I fit in. I did not test the restaurant, I had twice breakfast (for 8 euros), which being the buffet constantly refilled is an ok price. The hostel is not central, no fancy restaurant or sightseeing in front, it is in a neighborhood being renewed, but with bus or tram you get fast into the city centre. You have a nice cultural/shop centre nearby (Darwin). Every member of the staff I interacted with was nice and polite.

The hostel is supposed to be eco friendly, so for example you don't have a hair dryer in your room (to have one it is sufficient to ask to the reception and give a document, but they won't have 30 ofc). What I find more problematic is the heat : even if when I arrived there were 18 degrees outside, inside the room was really hot. We left the window open (even if the dorm for 8 is one of, or the only, to have AC, but we did not use it) but the 2 nights after it was similarly hot. The room was never full, max 4 people, so I am afraid how it will be in a hot summer with 8 people inside. Not a lot of space to put your stuff either, there is a lock room for everyone, but not sufficient to put more than your baggage closed inside.

It was a perfect location for being a tourist in and around Bordeaux! The A tram is a 3-4 minute walk that will bring you straight into the centre in 10 minutes or link you to other lines. It is nicely on the east side of the river where you can easily jump on a train out to Saint Emilion, etc. The hotel itself is cool and modern and most importantly, clean. Price was also good.

The facilities in the room was quite basic and small, we only had 1 toilet roll for our 2-night stay, etc. The issue was that the room was not cleaned so this wasn’t topped up, etc. perhaps this place does not clean rooms daily so perhaps it would be good to state this on check in, along with some other details.

Amazing location and perfectly clean and tidy rooms. Facilities for the restaurant and bar were great too (although we didn’t try them). The way the hotel was laid out made it feel like a little apartment, so was nice and cosy. Although the room was fairly small it did a perfect job.

Maybe could have been some cups or a kettle in the room to have a cup of tea or just some water even. Room was quite hot but the weather was warm! they had provided us with a fan which did the job well enough.

The stay was amazing! We were very well received, even outside of regular check-in hours, with a free upgrade to a studio! The room was very spacious and warm with heating and a skylight that provided a lot of natural light in the morning. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and on the last day, we were able to work peacefully in the hotel. The hotel is very close to the city center, just across the bridge, and in a calm area with a church, Carrefour, tram, and bicycles (Velo 3) nearby!

The only slightly negative things I can think of were the lack of scrambled eggs at breakfast and the fact that the hand soap provided was the same as the body and hair wash. Apart from that, everything was impeccable!

I stayed in a shared room (only females), with 8 beds and it was super comfortable. The room had 2 bathrooms, so it was very practical and you just have to share with the people in your bedroom. The location was good, not very far from the center. Good value for the price. The restaurant was very decent.

My only concern was that I stayed in one of the upper beds and I did not think the stairs were very safe, I had a bit trouble going up and down. There are lockers but you have to bring your own padlock.

Good Quality-Price! Walking distance to Place du Borse: 20min! Breakfast better than our expectacions. Coffee could be better, but It’s drinkable. Carrefour Market so close!

The rooms are a bit small, but well soundproofed. Hotel charges you €5 to store your luggage before check-in and €5 more after check-out, seems excessive to me. It has a kitchen for guests, but it is quite dirty. It hardly has dishes, cutlery, cooking and cleaning utensils, etc... a little maintenance and attention would add value to the hotel

Good location. Near restaurants, markets, metro and bus station and the center of the city. Small room but perfectly met our need. You can leave your luggage at the Hotel paying 5€ per bedroom. Breakfast is simple and good. Airport to the hotel and vice-versa: 30 min by car and 1h by public transportation (metro + bus). Reception available 24h. All the employees are helpful and friendly.

I received the info about the bathroom without individual bath products on the day before go to the hotel. The hotel offer just a dispenser with soap + shampoo. I suggest include that info also on Booking on the reservation page.

I loved the location on the «other» side of the Garonne, the eco concept and how clean it was. Most importantly: the mattress was the absolute BEST mattress i‘ve ever slept on in a hotel. The room (indicated as a 2 person room) was perfect for 1 person, but i rlly cannot imagine how 2 ppl & their luggage could fit in there!

Worst hotel breakfast ever (esp the coffee) and i also wouldn‘t eat in the restaurant again.
