the locatıon . quıet and two steps ahead the hyde park the dtaff were great and helpful

the standerd rooms were very small and old furnıture, however the execitive rooms were great and we had to upgrade to have a good stay

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect location, just 2 min away from the subway and 50 meters from Hyde park. Comfortable room, clean sheets and bathroom. Nice English breakfast. The price by London standards is perfect!

The only thing missing from breakfast were fresh vegetables :( The moquette in the room had a lot of stains (not fresh ones), but I believe that's a disadvantage of any hotel room with carpets.. The bed and bathroom doors were a bit worn out. We had to use the AC during our stay, as without it, the room was humid and a bit cold. (AC worked perfectly). The downside part of it was that it was directed right at the bed, and the air flow was pretty strong (even at the low level). So, if you're laying in bed, it blows straight at your face.

Excellent location (2 minute walk from the metro and bus station that was very central - so convenient) and directly opposite Hyde Park. The hotel was lovely as were the staff. Room was basic but clean. Beds very comfortable. They offered us an upgraded room (recently renovated) for a small extra fee but because we weren't going to be staying long hours in the hotel I didn't accept, but a very good offer from the hotel nonetheless. I always stay in Hyde Park when I come to London, as I love the area and its very central, so the hotel was a very good choice.

The window of our room was not clean and we didn't have a good view, however as we weren't stay long hours in the room it didn't bother us!

Was disappointed with the breakfast stayed at the hotel before when there was a much better choice and quality There were no egg options like fried or poached only scrambled which were not cooked well too sloppy and runny There was no choice of bread only sliced brown or white always used to be small white and bread rolls which are much better to eat with the ham and cheese option and the pastries which used to be light and tasty the two options were too doughy and relatively tasteless.

Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful . Seeing as we didn’t pay a huge amount it was Good value for money.

Hotel was a bit tired and the room was extremely small but we weren’t planning on being in it too long. The bed was against a wall so you had to clamber over to get out. Few issues but most dealt with quickly- apart from the shower which didn’t have any cold water. It was supposed to be rectified but Ended up having to have baths instead.

The area was good, staff were helpful, we've privoislstayed here 3 times before.

We arrived at the hotel early and dropped our bags off and wet out for the evening on retuning we went straight to bed. The morning from 6am the toilet didn't flush, it was getting blocked and filing up, we called a staff member who couldn't help and suggested moving rooms which wasnt worth it as checking out at 11am, there was a horrible le smell that put us off. We were given complimentary breakfast but didn't offer any other alternatives

We have just ENJOYED a really happy four night stay here. Location is a very strong point, very close to Paddington Station and to Lancaster Gate Tube as well as being just over the road from Hyde Park. The reception staff deserve a special commendation. They were not thrown (or at least did not show they were thrown) when we rang from Taunton where floods had halted our train! All sorted quietly and efficiently even though I forgot to cancel brekkie in my first call. I've rarely seen a warmer smile than one of the breakfast greeters although one of our Grandchildren could be useful with the scrambled egg. A nice touch from the housekeeping is the replacement toiletries. Also the wifi whilst slower download than our home is three x the upload speed. The entrance lobby has a marvellous Christmas feel at the moment and the use of mirrors in the public area downstairs is clever. Our room was linear and compact, I was too mean to pay for the upgrade to a larger room, but a thoroughly pleasant stay. Sadly looking on Trivago for next year over £3000 for the four nights, I know the budget won't stretch to that .

The location is almost perfect, right on Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park , a one block walk to the underground, near many good pubs and restaurants. The rooms are clean, plenty of outlets, and the elevators were always working ! The lobby was clean and bright. The morning breakfasts were good, and very nicely done.

A bit noisy in the room from outside noises (no sound insulation at all) and we were up high ! The rooms are very small by US standards, fairly normal for the UK though.

The hotel was in a prime spot for what myself and mam were there for. The staff were really helpful and friendly, they were knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Took an interest in what we are going to see and do. When said my grandson was singing at the Royal Albert Hall with his school, they were take lots of photos and they would love to see them. Room was lovely and clean, breakfast was great. Food was hot and plentiful.

The only disappointment was the bar closed early. The bathroom was slightly small, and the bathroom doorway was a little narrow.

Breakfast was great and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel is really clean and offer a long list of services if needed. Located one block from the Underground station, so you can be almost anywhere in the city in 20-30 mins. Ezio, tending the bar, was a great guy and very nice to sit with!

We were forced to check in a day late due to our flight being cancelled, and were FORCED to pay for the missed night or the entire booking would be cancelled. Also our flight retuning home was pushed a day, so we had to also pay for the extra night as well. Hotel has zero sympathy for our situation.
