Axor Feria

The most consistent and best cleaning I ever had in a hotel. Unlike the neighbour hotel Axor Barajas this hotel has respect for its clients. Cleaning was daily, bottle of water and coffee daily, room tided daily. Heating was great and so the hot water, which is not the case always in the hotel next door. But watch out: the free shuttle is from the front of Axor Barajas hotel not from this hotel...I was not aware of this as it was my first stay there and I missed the planned shuttle (but got a new one 30 minutes later). They have also smoking rooms and windows are opening, which is again great for smokers like me.

Breakfast could have more fresh vegetable like cucumbers, green peppers and dark bread suitable for diabetics as well as plain yogourts, as their options are either full of fat or full of sugar, nothing healthy except boilled eggs (always hard and cold) and tomatoes which have no taste of tomatoe. Also good quality olives, as those served are really horrible. Anyway, is still better than the hotel next door as you can make coffee by yourself instead if waiting for waiters, which are so slow in the hotel next door and speak only Spanish.

The hotel is 10-15min away from the airport driving but we could not hear any noise (which is often a problem with hotels near airports!). The transfer to and from the airport is super convenient. We were worried because our flight was delayed, but the hotel staff were very nice and arranged for a pick up at the airport at 2am with no extra charge. This was really appreciated. The premises are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also of good quality. I will be staying again if I am ever connecting flights in Madrid.

The hotel could provide slippers, given that both the bedroom and bathroom floors are tile. A bath mat in the bathroom would be good too.

The room was lovely & nicely decorated with a really comfy bed & a lovely bathroom. Cosy lighting with aircon. Tea & coffee making facilities & an iron with an mini iron board. Complimentary large bottled water in the fridge. Really bright room with large window that opens fully meaning I could enjoy the sunshine in the room! And my therapy dog stayed with me! The airport shuttle is a huge advantage. Location close to a huge shopping mall!

Being a wheelchair user I just could not manage the lift! By the time I'd call it & try & manoeuvre my chair, the door would close. I'd the same problem getting into the room. The big heavy fire proof doors were impossible to open so I struggled but safety first is important. I'd have loved an all day snack menu to enjoy in the reception in the Feria or sister hotel next door (Barajas)

The Hotel is close to the airport and the free shuttle was very good. We had a double room with great twin beds and a nice modern bathroom with only a shower. We had a small dog. It was 20 euros extra, they even brought a dog bed and feed/water bowl to the room.

It was great for our layover stay. The location is convenient for the airport but there's not much of anything else in walking distance. There were many taxis available. The restaurant was closed during our stay because we had an early flight but their breakfast menu had options and a large eating area. The shuttle in the morning was good also but the airport was quite chaotic so we suggest an even earlier request than normal.

I appreciated the pet-friendly policy and its proximity to IFEMA. Those are the main reasons why we booked it.

I had anticipated a double bed as per our request, but we were provided with two single beds, making sleep uncomfortable as they frequently separated in the middle. When I requested a larger bed, the only option offered was a 150x200 bed in a smoking room, which was not pleasant at all. Despite this, we decided not to change rooms

Location was perfect for a very early flight. Hotel was clean and modern with a nice restaurant for dinner. The free shuttle was timely and helpful! Madrid is expensive so price seemed comparative with other places I considered. I mosly picked it because of my need for a 4am shuttle to the airport but was happy that it was a clean, quiet and safe place to stay. One thing to note: the air conditioning and lights are controlled by your key card. Our room was very hot when we arrived at 5 in the afternoony on a 90 degree da and took many hours to cool down.

We like the hotel, very convenient if you will travel from Barajas airport. It is clean, the staff is friendly, the rooms are confortable.

The food at the restaurant is not as good as it should be. The pool is not climatized and even though we stayed in a very hot day the water was extremely cold, I would say that unbearable cold, we had to come out. It would be convenient if at least the bar offers food and drinks all day long, there are a lot of people staying at the hotel and arriving hungry at any time of the day and they can’t find any food option.

Convenient for getting to the airport.

85€ for one night and no breakfast included, that’s pricey.

The connection to the airport is done by a shuttle bus, once per 30 min - it worked very good. From the hotel to the airport you have to book it at the reception. The room was very clean, the reception staff very friendly and helpful. It takes aprox 7-10 min to the airport, so if you are in transit is a very good option. The restaurant was open until 12.30 AM so it was good that we had the option to have a late dinner in the hotel - good food! The breakfast was basic, but no complaints.

The price was a bit high but considering that they provide the transfer, I guess it's understandable.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quite large and had plenty of counter and chair space. A window that you can open. Chromecast option on tv. Small fridge. Good amount of hooks in the bathroom and a radiator, which is a plus if you need to wash a few things or dry your swimsuits. Breakfast was decent, but nothing spectacular. Airport shuttle was very convenient. 15-20 min taxi ride from the city. 7 min walking from the Plenilunio shopping mall.

Would have liked some regular hangers that you can take out of the closet and hang on the hanging rail in front of the mirror. :) No hooks in the room were to hang your coat for example. Only hangers in the closet that you can´t take out.
