Avoca Beach Hotel

The tranquillity. Saltwater resturant food was exceptional and value for money.

The driveway into the villa, for such a steep downhill the driveway was too narrow for my compfort of driving, however there was ample parking available at the entrance off of Avoca drive so this did not impact my stay 😊

Avoca Beach hotel truly exceeded our expectations. We choose it based on the pricing, but it has so much more to offer. Not only was it a great value for money but the beautiful nature / garden was amazing, the new furniture in our villa was a pleasant bonus and we truly enjoyed the whole experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I world highly recommended this place for a family stay. Kids loves two pools. One pool was conveniently located right next to our villa. We loved the food at breakfast at the little caffe at the reception. The menu had so many exciting choices. We spent some time at the pub and listened to the live music on Friday night. It was fun!

Pub food was ok but nit the best. The whole put atmosphere was lovely though.

Food was good and staff friendly. Quiet and very peaceful.

Driveways to the 2bed apartments were a nightmare - too steep. Scratched the underneath and front of my car. Blankets were dirty so I put through the wash. Shower tap kept falling off.

We had a wonderful stay at the Avoca Beach Hotel and we’ll definitely be back again. Everything exceeded our expectations, the rooms were very clean and it was great value for money. We loved the open ceilings, made the cabins feel really nostalgic. I’m surprised this is a 3 star hotel, we’ve stayed in higher more expensive hotels and they haven’t been as nice. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.

The staff member on reception responded well to our concern of the room, immaculately clean but very musty smelling. (eye watering) Fortunately there was another room available which he offered us immediately. Excellent customer service.

Heavy musty smell of initial room, despite leaving window open and going out for a couple of hours. Understand bush/ garden setting , but room a few doors down was fine.

Being older style rooms, we found it very cold with the brick walls. The AirCon took a fair while to heat the rooms due to the warmer air rising so maybe some fans could improve this aspect with pushing the warmer air back down into the rooms. The room suited our purpose for our short stay but it certainly wasnt very sound proof with having open walls between the two rooms (luckily dad was very good & didn't snore too much!) Although it is good to have water saving measures in place with the showers the pressure certainly wasnt too good with it being cold in the bathroom as well.

Surrounded by lovely bushland, tropical palms, birds n waterdragons. Way bigger space than we imagined. Parking at our room really convienient. Really spacious room. Open deck at the hotel bar is relaxing They have shuttle bus to avoca beach too Lovely pool too

Some of the paths are bit steep or uneven, so you need to take care in places. Close to beach, but walking there may be bit tricky

Staff are lovely. The rooms are a good size with nice outdoor spaces. The pub menu is yum and it's great to have the live music on a Saturday evening. The pool is clean with lots of recliner lounges. The location is only a few minutes drive from town and the beach.

The ONLY thing I would change is having a good sized coffee cup in the room. :-)

We all loved the beautiful green and natural scenery as soon as you wake up in the morning. We loved how the property had 2 swimming pools and a cafe and pub in the property that served delicious food. Loved how even though family members of mine did not book around the same area, staff member (Ahmed) went out of his way and upgraded our accommodation for free just so that we could all be together.

Relaxing atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Rooms are fresh and clean.. Cafe is nice and Cozy. Saltwater Bistro and bar. is Delicious. Food live music over the weekend..Grate laugh with the bar staff. Had a great stay. Would recommend. Enjoyed our stay

Very hilly. Steep stairs are not that good for aged or disabled people. However still accessible and still steep pathways. Would like the rooms to have a toaster and microwave.
