Terrigal Pacific Coastal Retreat

This place exceeeded my expectations. Wanting a 4 day getaway from Sydney, I booked this for pure relaxation. From first arriving in a heatwave, was greeted with friendly service. This place really was the self-contained home away from home I was hoping for! Studio room was perfect for single or double quiet stay. I was located away from the main pool area but still had a great view of the large lagoon style pool. I have to say I swam every day, and the pool is heated for cooler weather. The poolside area is really nice with a natural garden and concrete if you prefer. Back to the room, full shower and bath, complete with hairdryer, and toiletries. The kitchen and cooking facilities are very impressive! The fridge was a large small and plenty large enough for my groceries. There is a microwave, a modern condiction stove, and a wide assortment of pans, dishware, and cutlery. There is a kitchen sink handy for preparing meals and washing up. The lounge is spacious with a sofa and table, and has a decent table for eating at. There is a good sized balcony with a table and chairs, and a light for nighttime. Lastly, I have to mention the beds! They have to be the most float on air comfortable beds. With the modern air cobditioning too you, and quiet apartment lifestyle you will sleep well here! There is a café across the road open until 3pm. There is Terrigal Hotel Pub just 10 minutes walk Way. The main tourist Terrigal Beach Esplanade is a short pleasant 20 minute walk over the hill. Terrigal Beach is buzzing with value for money and also more upmarket cafés. The beach at Terrigal is long and is usually calm for swimming. On the way from Terrigal before you go up the hill there is a French restaurant. Across the road you can hire kyaks at the lagoon. Lastly, if you have kids there is the Marine Discovery Centre just across from where you are staying. If it is rainy head back South to Erina Fair Shopping Centre for a full shopping experience.

Nothing. Only thing, being a self-contained visitor who did the sustainable option (reused towels and did not need room service), it would have been good to get a few more shampoo, conditioner, and instant coffee sachets. Not a fault at all. I could have asked: )

We liked the location as it was perfect, close to the beaches, cafes, shops &… We loved the beautiful atmosphere in the poolside and the lovely colours in the rooms we stayed in made it a cosy place to relax with family. We would definitely recommend this place to family & friends!!

We were very excited for the spa, however it was no longer open after covid.

Everything. Not a really helpful comment but I couldn't think of any improvements...well one maybe - I don't like UHT milk in my tea. Could have worse problems in life I suppose...Also, thank you for organizing such good weather.

Staying only four nights - would have liked a much longer stay. I'll do better next time.

The location was good and we really like the room and facilities in it. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Even though it's on a busy road you don't get any road noise - the setting is really nice.

The pool was not as warm as it was supposed to be on the days we were there. (My partner assured me it had warmed up again on our last day, but I'd missed the opportunity to test it again by then.) The wifi was quite patchy, which is unexpected these days.

The bed is hands down the best bed I've ever slept on. The kitchenette was small but had everything we needed. The bathroom, though dated, was clean and had ample supply of essentials. Plus, the hot water was hot, AND there was great pressure. It's a short walk to Terrigal Beach and downtown Terrigal. I loved that there were plenty of undercover parking spaces, which was free. I would definitely stay here again!

I wasn't a huge fan of the shower over the bath but can understand functionality as room would be perfect for a family of 3. It had a great big TV but seemed to be missing half the free-to-air channels

I booked a Studio with Rooftop Garden. Everything about the room was fantastic. But the clincher was the Garden Rooftop. The photo's don't do it justice. It is much larger than I imagined and I felt terribly guilty to have this huge space all to myself. I was in Terrigal to attend a Family Reunion and I had to bring family members over to show them. They were all impressed. and rather envious. I loved sitting out there with a coffee and a book or just scrolling through my phone. I loved the lake view. From Check-in to Check out I had a perfect experience.

The pool area was beautiful with lots of seating areas to play games or just read a book. The rooms were comfortable, and well maintained. The managers were attentive and live on site, so if there are issues they are dealt with promptly.

While we were there they were doing construction on the road outside, but even with this, the greenery and garden trees blocked most of the noise.

The pool was inviting and clean. We also liked that the rooms faced into the pool area. The room and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. The sofa bed was nice too.

We were only provided with 3 bath + 3 pool towels when there were 4 people checked into the room. WiFi and Mobile phone reception was pretty poor. Pay per view movies would have been a nice touch but TV was great otherwise.

All the little details were thought of. Folder full of information, simple decor that made the space more inviting. Even vouchers for the cafe across the road. The gardens were cared for beautifully and the staff were SO friendly and full of information. Will definitely be back.

I was in room 111 and I could hear the family next door to me very clearly, it was like a door was open between the two rooms. Not sure why I could them and the baby crying so clearly...

Friendly and very helpful staff from check-in . Helpful with our bags, showing us to our room, even setting the air-conditioning to make sure we were comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen, large fridge, dishwasher, washing and dryer. Close proximity to everything. Would like to thank the very helpful cleaner who helped me with my bag to get down the stairs when we were checking out. It was very much appreciated
