Lake Haven Motor Inn

The staff, especially Aleisha, was so good to us, found us a room on short notice, fixed up a problem we had all with a bright smile on her face, nothing was a problem, thank you so much Aleisha, you have a great personality. The staff in the restaurant were also so lovely to us, our meals on both nights in the restaurant were amazing, cleaning staff in the morning were very bright and happily restocked our room for us.

Nothing, everything was great.

Location was good. We wanted to be near family.

I was surprised to see a bath rather than a shower. I could not access the bath, but the staff had handrails fitted so I could access the shower over the bath. We had problems with the aircon for the dining room rather noisely cutting in and out all night and the staff happily moved us to another room and added rails to the bathroom so I could access the shower there. Staff were very happy and friendly.

After reading so many bad reviews about this motel we were thrilled to find that it didn’t live up to the bad reviews. The room was dated but very clean and we could see that the motel is on the way up again. The staff were friendly and helpful. We spent an enjoyable evening in the restaurant where the food was yummy and the service warm and friendly. The bacon and egg rolls for breakfast were delicious.

Dinner was very nice. Lamb shanks omg delish. Quite spacious room. Cosy and comfy beds. All cutlery and bowls/ plates provided. There is a sink and small balcony which was great. Hard to find some places where smoking is allowed so the balcony with an ashtray was a bonus! Carpark is spacious. Restuarant and bar is part of motel, also awesome. Room service available.

The bath water was yellow. Looked like a bath of beer, though it didn't stop my child from bathing in it lol. Next day, bath water was normal. Both nights, there were noisy people staying there. One night, a bunch of boys stayed up all night partying and unfortunately, we didn't get much sleep. But the staff were very apologetic @check out and didn't charge us for our dinner. That was very nice of them! After all it isn't their fault when guests don't know how to behave. Can hear traffic if you stay on the side closest to main road.

Room was quite large and had microwave, plates & cutlery, plus table and lounge. New carpet, comfy new mattresses and fresh linen. Could not hear any of the neighbours.

Windy night and the front door and screen rattled but easily temp fixed with cardboard into the gap. could be fixed with door seal added.

I enjoyed everything about the place. It was appropriately suitable for myself and my family. I will definitely be recommending the hotel to my family and friends.

There was not a thing that I didn't like about the lake haven motor inn.

Restaurant within the Motel had a great menu, my Salmon was beautifully cooked - a little pink in the centre - as requested and perfect crispy skin. Fish and Chips were brilliant too. Bed comfy with electric blankets too, kitchenette well equiped - not flash but exceptionally good value.

The 2 bedroom apartment was comfortable and spacious enough for 4 adults and we were able to have our dog with us.

The cost of the accommodation was quite high but we were expecting to pay premium price during Christmas period.

Very big room. we had the disabled room following surgery so bathroom was well set up for anyone with a disability. well equipped kitchenette, comfortable bed. evening meal was delivered to our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Gritty stones in parking area, they kept sticking to our shoes so kept walking in on the carpet.

A convenient location for the vicinity in which I needed to be. The tariffs were reasonable.

The fine pebbles/stones paving the courtyard and parking area easily transported by footwear into the living spaces. Furnishings and decor are looking 'dated'.
