Gallery Motel

It's all been said in earlier reviews but it bears repeating. The room was spacious, airy, very clean and well appointed. The king size bed was very comfortable. The motel is very close to the start of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail and the owner has provided external charging points for Ebikes. Great fruit and vegetable shop across the road and only a short walk to the Art Gallery.

Spotlessly clean, well appointed overnight accommodation with a fabulous king size bed. Great communication with super easy check in. The room was a little chilly but the reverse cycle aircon had it toasty by the time we returned from dinner. We were riding the Northern Rivers Rail Trail and it was perfectly located. Great off road parking for our vehicle(with the bike rack attached) and a secure spot for our e-bikes.

The unit was a good size and was back from the road, as requested. There was a problem with the door lock on our unit, but the proprietor had it fixed straightaway. There was a large and comfortable bed, and the heat pump worked well to take the chill from the room. Everything worked fine.

The supply of tea and coffee was a bit light. Luckily we had our own tea bags with us.

Went above and beyond for getting our room ready in time to catch the last bus into splendour. Absolutely lovely staff always happy for a chat.

Room had dishwashing liquid, a tea towel but no sponge. Also had no face washers in the rooms but i brought my own so wasn’t too annoying

Owner was friendly and very helpful Bed felt soft but then was very comfortable for sleeping Room was very clean Extra little things like nice biscuits and a 4 plug extension

Close to the road so cars were a bit noisy, not too bad overnight Not much walking space on roadway to walk into Murwillumbah South

Staff very friendly and helpful, offered a later check out if required. Room was very clean, bed was comfy. Was able to stream (cast) to the TV which was a nice bonus. Thoughtful little extras. Good location, great value for money. Would absolutely stay again.

The location was fine - especially chosen so that we could get to the Pacific Highway the next morning and avoid the Gold Coast traffic. The owner kindly arranged a downstairs unit for us.

We could hear some traffic during the night. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here - it was very close to the Rail Trail, which was our primary reason for staying here and coming to the region. The hotel check in and out was easy, and they let us store our bikes inside the room too. I would stay here again.

Great, quiet location close to town (5min drive). Located on the main road but barely noticed traffic noise day or night. Room was clean and comfortable. Even has Tesla charger!

Due to the hot summer weather, on our last night we were visited by a couple of large flying cockroaches in the middle of the night. I think they came through the air-con vents near the ceiling as I couldn’t seen any holes in the window fly screens etc. Nothing that a few spritzes of bug spray and some strategic swatting couldn’t fix though! Could be a common issue as I noticed the provided bug spray can was pretty much used up and we hadn’t used it at all til then. But other patrons might be more squeamish so suggest some pest control might be in order.

The room felt spacious and was spotlessly clean. Close to a main road yet very quiet at night. Fresh milk in the fridge for our tea. We had a very comfortable two night stay.
