Port Stephens Motel

I stayed at thetete Port Stephens Motel for 8 nights. The room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. The motel is in a very convenient location with a quick 5 minute walk to the Marina and restaurants. At the top of the park across the road is seating where you can see magnificent sunsets. I will definitely stay here again.

The only thing i didn't like was the main light switch for the room was above the bed instead of inside the door on entry.

balcony, sounds of the kookaburra, really close to several beaches, comfortable bed. the facilities are not the newest, but i was aware of it and it did not bother me. I also appriciated the dishes, cutlery & electric kettle. the area is quiet and beautiful. I would definitly choose this place again next time.

it was a bit weird that no one was there for checkin, i never saw someone in the reception. communication about checkin & questions etc was only via sms. I hope it was iMessage, that i dont get charged for international sms by my provider.

Location and price were good for the area. We didn't need anything flash, basically a good clean room with basic motel facilities. Received a text on the morning of check in giving room keypad number and asking for car rego we would be travelling in. Each room had undercover parking. We walked 7 minutes into town for breakfast.

Our room faced the road, and being a long weekend there was some road noise thru the night, but only residential noise from cars, not trucks.

Location of the property which is very close to the beach and other attractions.

It’s a bit cramped than I expected. Did not like the tub for the shower. This is not available in any photo. The beds were too soft especially the double bed. Except for the above nothing negative to share about.

Contactless check in, super easy access. After travelling a long way it was so nice to get in late and just let ourselves in. The rooms was spacious and comfortable, great location. Everything we needed and great value, thank you.

Nothing it was exactly what we needed for the night.

Location was great. About a 5min walk down some steps to the promenade & only 10-15 mins walk to Marina/town centre. Bed was ok. Always difficult to accommodate every preference for a bed. Parking on site was good & although there were concrete pillars between most spaces this meant less likely to get car damaged by other car doors. All the appliances you would expect to find in a motel.

The free WiFi stopped working on the 1st eve, (although was resolved the following day). No washing up items (liquid, cloths & tea towels) provided, so had to leave cutlery/crockery unwashed for the cleaners to clean up (would have been happy to wash up for this level of accom if items provided to do so). Would have preferred the lighting in the room to have been brighter & could have done with a couple of extra electrical sockets near the bedsides

This motel is in a great central location while also being surrounded by trees and near a park. It is an easy walk into the main part of town and a quick drive to everywhere else. The room was basic but well furnished, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and staff helpful.

Value for money. Older style but comfortable, quiet, good location. Helpful staff. Pleasant. Excellent having self / breakfast option Toaster, plates, fridge , microwave. Balcony, can leave window open at night for fresh air

Maybe replace old base in shower.

very accessible to the shops and bay. the whole building looks old and some facilities but they’re all good and still in very good condition. it is a nice to stay with a peaceful and cool place like this.

none major so far except some people occupying in some rooms was smoking and very annoying for us who hates to smell the smoke.

Easy access to town centre by car. Room was clean. Easy check in even though there was no receptionist. A sms was sent to my phone with clear instruction.

Overall the room was clean. Toaster n cutlery were available and I was able to have a simple breakfast
