Austria Trend Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg Wien

The hotel was like a manor house. It was all old school. Which I liked. Very nice and clean. The BUS station is in front of the hotel so it’s very easy to visit the center of Vienna. 8 eur for 24 hours. ( includes train station, BUS and subway ) = perfect. Hotel is on the hill so there’s no huge trafic and there was a very good view of the city. Parking is free in front of the hotel. Around the hotel is forest and meadow so a big + for you guys.

There was only one thing I didn’t like. The radiators was very very hot. So the room was on two floors. The bedroom was on the second. So we all know that the heat is going up and the cold stays down. I couldn’t sleep till 2pm because it was so so hot. At the end I closed the heaters and open the window for half an hour. Outside -3• but it felt so good. So I know what to do earlier next time✅ At the end all good. Thank you.

The hotel was located in a nice and quiet area. It was perfect for relaxing after a long day in the city. The room was spacy and clean, the staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was also good. The buses arriving to the doorstep were perfect too. It was also nice that the cleaners understood that my mother didn't want a blanket, only a sheet and they didn't put the blanket back in the bedsheet while cleaning.

It was a bit confusing that there was a note that if we didn't want new towels every day, we should just not throw them on the ground. However, despite not throwing the towels on the floor, we were brought new towels every day.

It is a nice old historical building transformed in a hotel. I was expecting much more for Vienna and the price payed. The hotel needs a bit of investing like air conditioning in the rooms (was too hot and the fans provided barely helped). The room were cleaned (but not as they should have been, some old spider nests were hanging in the corners), the bathroom was really nice though. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety. The staff was very nice 👍🏻

For Vienna and the price paid l was expecting more clean and facilities. If you are looking for a old / classic location, than it is nice enough.

1.My opinion is every 4 stars hotel should come with a smart tv(youtube,netflix,chrome) given the fact they have international guests ,which is not the case here ,they have regular tv which is just disappointing...i hope they will change it 2.second thing you should acknowledge if you decide to accomodate here: We were lucky and there were no people disturbing after 10 p.m ,but the walls are pretty thin , there is no soundproofing,and the floors are pretty squeeky ,but that comes with the castle vibes. 3.breakfast is 19 euros/person ,which is quite expensive ,overall is pretty good ,but not for 19 euros...it's up to you...

The hotel itself is a castle, great and magnificent. The panoramic view of Vienna is the main advantage of this hotel. The room was of two stores, very nice and pleasant. The breakfast was quite diverse and very nutritious. We liked the hotel and would probably stay there again when come to Vienna.

I didn’t feel very welcome by the staff. They were more than neutral. I do understand that we didn’t stay there for longer than one night but it’s not the reason for behaving like that. Usually the reception staff is very helpful, nice and hospitable. But here I didn’t find anything similar. Unfortunately this is quite a minus for me when I choose the hotel.

Nice hotel on top of Wilhelminenberg with fantastic view over Vienna. Whole family enjoyed and you couldn’t wish for more when starting the day eating breakfast outside in the sun and viewing the city from the top and doing the same the last thing in the evening in warm summer night with glas of wine. Rooms were somewhat warm when daily temperatures were in between 28-32 degrees but with portable fan we managed well. We used car all the time but in 30-45 mins you can get to Stefansplatz using buss and U-bahn. Buss leaves in front of the hotel.

A lovely old stately building that oozes charm and is located on the top of a hill with magnificent views of Vienna. We loved our stay here in a very large room with high ceilings, decor that has character & charm, a comfy large bed, excellent shower and as already mentioned excellent views from the window. Both by day & night the views are amazing. Reception staff were friendly, efficient & very helpful. While we didn't use it, the hotel has a restaurant with a balcony that takes in the views. The hotel has large grounds and many guests took advantage of these sitting out until well after dark. We made good use of the refrigerator and kettle in our room.

Some of the floor boards in the our room creaked, but once we knew which ones we avoided them during the night.

An exceptional view of Vienna with a huge park, impressive big rooms with high ceilings, nice big lobby and historically furnished beautiful library.

The green areas are big but pretty neglected, now flowers outside, no hedges, etc. Breakfast is very simple and expensive compared to other hotels with stayed at. It was not worth it but you have coffee and tea at your room. Noisy outside as also people not staying at the hotel may visit the park until very late in the morning. We had a ground floor room and could hear everything.

I would suggest to have a smart tv in the rooms for the standard of the hotel and also to meet the needs from people that comes from other countries. the lady/manager of the restaurant (breakfast time) needs to reconsider her behavior towards guests. She was rude to us (making fun of my bar while trying hardly reading it on her paper - as one of the example of her rudeness) and we didn’t appreciate at all, not the right standard for a 4* hotel. besides that, the rest of the employees of the hotel were lovely

we liked almost everything. it started with welcome drinks after we checked in. Room was very comfortable and clean. we had a nice view from the windows and during our stay it snowed a lot. people were having fun on the grounds of the property. huge parking place without fee. we didn't bring our dog but we saw people with dogs in the breakfast area so it is a huge plus for us even we did not benefit from this in our stay this time. the rom was very warm given the freezing weather during our stay. the bus stop is located next to hotel enterance so feel free to park and ride. Breakfast was very tasty. we wished our stay was longer but this is a place we would really come back.

checkin starts at 3 which felt like a bit late for us. given the location and distance from center, coming here at the checkin time, settle and leave for the city visit would be much later than to our liking. Another thing that was a bit negative for us was the event Dinner and Crime event. Their meeting room was next to our room. They were dressing up talking a bit loud and time to time singing in front of our door. I had to go personally and ask them to be quiet at 11pm. we have a little baby It was had for her to go to sleep till midnight.
