Exe Vienna

This hotel is a great place to stay: many facilities as bar, restaurant for breakfast, gym, swimming pool as well as nice friendly staff ready to respond to your requests. The room is nice, very clean, enough big, the room temperature is great. The tram is every few minutes and is just in front of the hotel. You can reach the city center (the Cathedral) easily by the tram and 15 min wlaking or tram 44 and bus 1A. Next to the hotel there are many shops, supermarkets and coffees, small places for fast food. The metro is 6 min walk. Although the hotel is not in the city centre, I highly recommend it as it is really great and a good price and you have all logistics around including transport to reach the center. Just a comparison:before coming to Exe Vienna Hotel, we had another one for 2 days close to the town hall as I though there is still a Christmas market there and we were very disappointed: expensive, no facilities, no breakfast and no services and there is no supermarket close by.

Very good, central Hotel. The tram is really close by just a few steps away. Rooms were clean. Staff was very friendly, helpful and speaks good English. Breakfast had a good variety. Overall a very good Hotel and would recommend it.

The mattress was not very comfortable - quite hard to sleep on. Although Indoor, the pool was cold.

The personnel is extremely kind and helpful. We had a room on the 6th floor facing the street but the double windows pretty much excluded the noise of the street, I could not hear the tram passing by in the front of the building. I had a pleasant surprise when I discovered that the remote control was in a paper stating that it had been disinfected, which I think all hotels should do. The room was clean and tidy anyway. Having sine problems I did not have any issue with the bed.

The hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was good. The tram just a few steps away.

The pool was a bit cold for an indoor pool.The hot section of the breakfast was not very hot. The hot water for the tea was Luke warm in the boiler, we had to ask for hot water every day.

The hotel was well equipped and staff were very friendly and attentive. Didn’t expect a pool; so it was a great surprise. Pool was very quiet, I had it all to myself. The room was cleaned each day with fresh towels provided. The room was nice and spacious and there was a lovely bath in the bathroom. The hotel was easily accessible with a tram stop right outside the door! I’d really recommend this great hotel for visiting Vienna.

The bed mattress was a bit hard but overall comfortable room and very attentive staff.

Very good breakfast, clean hotel and clean cozy room. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was subtle in keeping the right temperature. The bathroom is good and clean. Hotel staff was great. They answered every question we had and they even explained some details to better navigate Vienna. The hotel parking is useful if you come by car.

The neighborhood is fair, clean, although it could get too loud if you open the window. One minus, if you can call it that way is the parking fee, which is a bit expensive. Other than that, the room is a bit old, it needs a general refresh.

Breakfast was excellent. Stuff was very helpful and kind. We were traveling with 2 children and we were asking for help with many small things. Like hot water for preparing meals for our smallest (1-year-old). We get the amazing size of the room for 2 adults and 2 children it was perfect. The goal was to see amazing Christmas lights on Vienna streets in the center and a lot of attractions. Our children love it. In the meantime, we can taste all these punches. We also take our children to the www.haus-des-meeres.at. It takes about half day. Our daughters were so excited while discovering every new aquarium on the next floor.

The parking in Vienna. 25Eur for parking in the hotel parking was quite a lot and we tried to solve it via parking on the street. Unfortunately, these rules about where you can park and how long it's a pretty problem in Vienna. We were quite lucky with a public holiday. While public holidays it's the parking in most places like weekends and that's much better.

Excellent location. Nearby there is a metro station as well as tram station, bancomat, supermarket, many bars and pharmacy.

I didn't like mostly the stuff. I have had an unpleasant situation regarding my transfer from the airport to the hotel: I have booked the transfer before and gave the stuff all the details regarding my flight. Upon arrival the driver wasn't at the place. But the stuff from the hotel was telling me that the driver is waiting from me. I don't like the lies. In the end the stuff has offered me to pay for the taxi as it was a big inconvenience, and afterwards they asked me to pay! Also the security safe was broken, I asked once to repair it- no one did it. The stuff are all foreigners unfortunately, they don't possess this precise manner of doing everything, like we used to dealing with Austrian people. All the rest was very good.

The location is very good. Within walking distance from the Tram and Subway, which means you can get to all of Viennas Hotspots within 30min. Breakfast was really good with a wide variety of different foods. The rooms were nice and quiet. We were on the 6th floor. The air-conditioning works like a charm.

We had a waiter in the evening who spoke neither English nor German so the communication was a bit difficult, but we managed :)

We recommend. We liked cleanliness, breakfast, friendly staff, privacy, the connection by public transport to the center (44). A very decent place to stay. Note: we didn't get to try the pool and gym. We stayed for three nights. We recommend that you buy a weekly ticket for public transport (17.10 eur for using all lines).

Maybe it could be a better choice of tv channels, who is interested in watching TV.
