We really loved staying here - it was great value for money, centrally located and with lovely kind staff. We had a huge room with a really comfy bed, two tables and four chairs, plenty of storage space for our things and a kettle with a selection of teas. Everything was really clean. We were worried about the lack of air conditioning as we travelled during a heatwave but the room was still reasonably cool despite 32 degree heat. The water pressure in the shower was great. Free coffee in the entry room was good quality and a nice touch. Staying here felt really personal compared to a hotel chain and we would love to stay here again if we return to Vienna.

The bathroom got very hot when you had a shower and there wasn't anywhere for the heat to go so it made the main room itself warmer and humid. Providing a fan would have been a nice addition to help keep cool, however we did travel during a heatwave so these issues wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't 30 degrees (and honestly, it wasn't really an issue while we were there anyway).

August 2023

I booked a single room with an ensuite bathroom. The furniture was a bit outdated, but everything was clean and tidy. The location was great (10 mins walk from Votivkirche). Communication with the host was also good: he explained that the windows are opened / closed accordingly by staff during the summer to exclude the heat. There was no air conditioning but the room was still nice and cool thanks to the aforementioned process and the thick walls. The street was a bit noisy so I had to close the window before going to bed but that was fine.

There was no separate ventilation system available for the ensuite bathroom, which had an open ceiling, technically not separated from the room itself.

This is the perfect place to stay. Very conveniently located and with tram stop right next door. Within walking distance of the center of Vienna on foot if you wish to walk. Clean, comfortable, with daily change of towels. Coffee free of charge at the reception, as well as a kettle and tea in the room. The room really has everything. Wardrobes, table with chairs, big mirror, place for luggage, mini fridge... has it all. The bathroom comfortable enough for its size, spotless, and with a hairdryer. The lady who welcomes you at the reception is lovely and very kind, as is the gentleman too. They are always with a smile and willing to help. If you add to all this the price that is quite economical for Vienna, do not think about it at all and book this hotel.

Great location! Walk to the city centre takes 20-25 minutes. Tram stop is just out of the door if you prefer public transport. Shops nearby Presence of the fridge and kettle in the room is very convenient Comfortable beds and pillows Wardrobe with hangers Clean I do not know if it is intentional or not, but keys from front door, hotel door and room door have different colours. It is SO convenient! No need to try every time every key. Very fair price-to-quality ratio!

A lot of little details are missing: there was no socket next to the table, so you have to bring the kettle to your bed to boil water, no hooks for coats, no shelf in the shower, no holder for toilet paper etc but nothing that really matters If you stay during hot days it might be uncomfortable. There is no conditioner and you cannot keep windows open in the room facing the street because of noise The only really negative thing for me was absence of regular reception hours. In the description on booking the hotel indicates luggage storage. It was relevant for me as I had an evening flight. However, in the day of my departure the reception stayed open only until 15 (I think it depends on the guests arrival time), so I had to go to the railway station and leave my suitcase there.

The position is very good, with tramway and buses all day long. The center is also at walking distance. There is a supermarket on the other side of the street. The owner is nice and overall I had no particular problems. There is a free coffee machine in the common area and a mini-fridge in the room.

The single room is very small. The toilet is a prefab block placed in a corner of the room, with no window. Moreover the toilet flush is particularly noisy and activates unexpectedly when you are seated... quite scary! If you are not used, the tramway can disrupt your sleep.

I would start with i recommend this place for solo travelllers. 1-location very good, bus to train station is around the corner and tram to city centre just down the road 2-small fridge in the room and there was tea and cups 3-room was warm 4-bed is so comfortable I stayed for 3 nights in a single room,in general everything was good, water pressure is good, toilet bit small but for me it was okay, must go up stairs to reach ( just 1 level up) which wasnt a problem to me but maybe for others with luggage it will. The toilet and room were clean as this is something important for me. Supermarket is facing the accomodation which is a big plus as you can buy whats needed.(closes 8 pm) The host is an amazing person. I would recommend to stay there in winter ( no AC for summer stays). I would recommend from the owners to add complimentary water bottles and at least 3 nescafe sachets.

1-there is no lift you must go up couple of stairs which is annoying for people with big luggage

The room excepted expectations. We thought we were walking into a really budget accommodation, but were pleasantly surprised. Although, the aesthetic is a bit dated, it had all the amenities we needed: a mini fridge, working bathroom, comfortable beds, convenient outlet sockets for charging devices. Late night check in process was really easy with a key lock box and clear instructions sent to us ahead of time.

Location could be a bit more central, but overall not bad with public tram system to get downtown quickly.

October 2022

Considering the low price, I expected very bare-bones accommodation (which was fine with me, because I was mostly focused on getting something in that specific area). I was very pleasantly surprised with both the size of the room and the quality of the furniture etc. (super comfy bed!!). Both the receptionist and the cleaning staff were very professional and helpful. The room was clean, and the location was superb in terms of easy access to the city center on foot (plus very quiet!), and a bunch of supermarkets around that allowed me to try out some late-night local snacks. I don't think the pictures really do it justice – at least my room was much bigger than what the photos suggested, and much bigger than what similar budget accommodation usually offers.

If there was one thing I thought could be better, it was the water pressure. Normally, people complain about it being too low, of course, but here, it was the opposite – it tended to be so high that the showerhead would jet away towards the wall and there was no way to just stick it in place and enjoy a shower with both hands free. Of course, that's not a huge problem at all! Some tiny spots could use a new coat of paint, but that's actually something I only noticed when people pointed it out to me in some photos that I took of the place, so no big deal in my book.

the room is modest enough, furnished in a rather old-fashioned way, but very tidy. Every day the the room was cleaned, the rubbish were taken out. The host was kind and helpful. The tram stop was very close. The supermarket was just across the street wich is vety comfortable. There was quite a big room with comfortable bed.

there was a constant bad smell coming from the bathroom, maybe it came from the sewers. Also the shower door was very narrow, a bigger person can get stuck when climbing from the shower.

The one bed room was comfortable and spotless. It was a small but it had a huge doubled-glass window and the bed was good, the bathroom was small but everything worked perfectly. It had coffee and tea set and despite the old fashion furnitures everything was in perfect conditions, so the room itself was perfect and clean as a whistle.

The furniture were a bit old fashion but this is not important for me. The room was in perfect conditions.
