Kolbeck Rooms

The new rooms - and the friendly service, and the new restaurant/cafe which is great. Everything really.

It's been a problem for years now (I'm an old client, as it were), but the breakfast starts at 9, which is a problem if you're there for work reasons. I did mention this and they said they were working on it, so fine. If they could start at 07.30 or something, the possibilities that other types of traveller can use the hotel will obviously increase. But anyway - it's great. Don't tell anyone.

It was a clean room and bathroom. The host was very friendly and accomodating and helped us to navigate the area. It is located very central close to the main station, underground and tram way. It also has a supermarket across the street.

That there was no lift in the building. There was also no kettle in the room. It is not neccesary to provide a whole coffee station, but a kettle and cups would make a HUGE difference. There is only a very small dustbin in the bathroom. A larger dustbin in the room would also make the life much easier.

The location is perfect. They had a baby bed (cot) amazing. They gave me a big room so the baby could play. Hotel and both restaurant and the bar below belong to the same owner. There was no kettle in the room, but you can get free hot water at the restaurant below. Many halal places around. And in front of a shopping centre. Tram + metro right there. Train station by foot in 4 minutes!!!! Super super staff very kind and helpfull.

No lift available. It's under construction, but it's an important detail to know when you are in the second floor

I've been using Booking services for years now but I have not seen a more hospitable host/staff before. The person in charge welcomed us with a big smile, provided us with all the info we needed, showed us that we could reach out if we needed help. The place was close to the Belvedere Palace. Also, it was near the metro station (U1) which helps your mobility around all significant places to see. The price/room quality is reasonable. I particularly liked my view from the window. The building smelled nice and the room was clean. The staff of the restaurant/cafe below were also hospitable.

There are lot's of things that I liked about the Hotel. It is actually a flat in a residence in a baroque building. There is a great coffee at the entrance which we enjoyed much. Lovely atmosphere and food and not that expensive. The hotel is located very close to train station and subway, Stephanplatz is 3 stops away. Lot's of stores and street food around. The flat is at the second floor with no elevator. Room was spacious, with strong wifi. Heating and hot water was working properly.

Shower is small. Furniture is a bit old. No fridge. The hotel is located in a crowded area with lots of restaurants. So in the morning you hear them opening. So a renovation about soundproofing would be great. It was a bit hard to find the reception.

Super friendly staff, great rooms. We upgraded by paying on the spot to a higher category room and we really this room. The staff at reception and bar were really nice and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again next time we're in Vienna.

Our original booking was for the base category room which is actually in another building and it didn't have a lift. But we changed rooms and really liked the one we finally stayed in, which was in the main building.

First, really good value for money, perfectly close to the train station (so perfect for connecting with trains to airport for example), and same owners as the super Italian restaurant around the corner (where you check in), which was a really great surprise. Staff is super kind and helpful. Centre is directly available by metro.

Just bear in mind there are no elevators in that section of the hotel (my father and his large luggage was kindly upgraded to a room in the Boutique hotel part of the building which has an elevator).

Everything was good, clean, exactly as we expected.

It was a bit hard to find the reception, as you need to go into the hotel on the other side, and this particular room is accessed through a different entrance on the other corner of the building. When we found the reception to check-in it was all good, but took us some time, maybe some intructions could come in handy for that :)

The attitude of the staff was excellent, especially the African man who spoke German to me and I enjoyed it, and my son was very happy, he was very pleasant and well-spoken, he guided us and it was valuable for me, the location of this hotel It was great. The night was available everywhere and it was great

I was on the top floor and without an elevator, my son was annoyed،But everything was great and I really liked this hotel, because it was clean and had good facilities

Everything was very good, congratulation to the renovation!

The check in a little bit difficult, as it was earlier, in the former building, because we could meet only the maid at early morning as we have knocked on the window. She had let us enter the building before the check in and before the check out as well. Our card didn't work when we left the building before our check out, that's why we couldn't enter in the building through the main gate.
