Gardette Park Hotel

The best part of our stay was talking to the staff. The girls at reception are the best asset this hotel has, and that is a lot to day because actually our room was kind of fab! We had 3 floor to ceiling windows/balconies with the most gorgeous views of the park. Spacious, clean and very comfortable room. You're about 10min walk to the Voltaire metro station but it's not a bad walk. Get your map at reception and ask the girls to give you some hints re how to get around and the places to see and eat. Breakfast was lovely with good coffee and lots of fresh food and pastries. Cannot complain. Great hotel. We recommend.

Hard to say. Everything was lovely. Maybe some TLC to the shower area but that's a small thing really.

Location across from Gardette Park was charming and calming. 5 mins from St Ambroise metro (which is on a good line, number 9, and connects with line 4, so e.g. 20 mins to St Michel / RER B to CDG) and has some nice local bars and cafes nearby. Felt very safe and happy there. Staff, especially the lady on the desk in the morning, were friendly and helpful. My room overlooked the canopy of trees in the park.

Bathroom could do with a modernisation makeover.

The rooms were nicely furnished (with a very comfortable bed!) and had good lighting from large windows but the room was very cramped which I believe is to be expected in Paris. The bathroom seemed more spacious. Everything was very clean and up to date. The shelf/ledge at the head of the bed with easily accessible outlets was very practical for charging devices and keeping glasses, prescriptions and water within arm's reach. The staff throughout our stay was very friendly!

I didn't care for the spiral staircase with very small steps. It was challenging when going up or down them with luggage. Thankfully there was an elevator but it was very tiny (only fit one person + 1-2 suitcases) and it stopped between floors rather than on each floor so there was no getting around going up or down those spiral stairs with luggage in hand.

We had a good stay for 2 nights at this hotel. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the Wi-Fi good, and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to a subway stop and there are many restaurants and stores in the area. Breakfast does not come with the room but they do have a breakfast you can purchase, and it was good with a good selection.

The room was on the smaller side, but that is typical in Paris. Had a good stay there and would stay there again.

We were in the Junior suite with park view. The room was very quiet at night and the curtains blacked out the room well for a good night’s sleep. The bed was very wide and comfortable. The room was spacious and the sofa bed comfortable for sitting on during the day. The doors opened onto a balcony, but on our floor, the fifth, it was not wide enough for sitting outside. The small table and chairs could have been placed in the open door to enjoy the outside air, with views of trees, the small park and attractive buildings.

In the picture the walls and curtains look cream: in fact everything is battleship grey, even the ceiling. We went here in November and this colour-way sucked all the light from the room, making it feel all a bit depressing. Even the lighting couldn’t overcome the drabness. The bathroom too was rust tiles with grey mortar and the lighting was insufficient to see in the mirror adequately for applying any makeup. I was also glad I had brought my own hairdryer, as the one supplied was fixed to the bathroom wall and had no way to control the direction of the airflow, blowing out of a large rectangular hole.

Location was good. Slightly far from tourist spots, but nice and quiet. Lots of restaurants, cafe and shops were around there. Room was tiny. I have no idea, but I booked a single room for me and a double room for our kids. Somehow, the single room seemed to be bigger than the double room.

Size of the room. I know it is not cheap as Paris....but still....

location was close to where my friend lived and it was lovely and clean.

the staff were really loud in the mornings outside our room chatting and banging stuff as they cleaned the rooms. It woke us both up very early.. Also there was construction work going on right above our room too with constant banging from 8am in the morning.. Also the bathroom was everything you needed but very small..

The hoetel is wanderful the crew is so attentive and caring for the gussts and the room is spoiling comfortabe and the terrace to park trees view is just great.Rodica the breakfst cheff is just fantastic and Grazian in the eve. is amazingly helpfull and nice.I come to this hotel 6 years already and after this pleasent stay i will come again as this is the one and only hotel for me in Paris!!! Also the location is fantastic.Just wsiting to go back to Gardette Park Hotel.

We loved all.It was just perfect.Also cleaning the room was so attentive to our wishs and great.working with care&heart for the gusts.

It was my second time in Gardette and from the first time to this there were some improvements, so from good to great. The staff is always nice, internet works perfectly good, there's a free coffe machine in the reception, the location is good, quite neighborhood (more locals), restaurants, cafes and wine bars all around. It's a safe and great value for money option in Paris

Friendly and staff. Clean and beautifully minimal decorated room. Very good location with a lot of choices of great local cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to two different metro lines.

Not enough toiletries and towels for two person. (I can say that the room service was the weak point) No iron in the room (even though it was mentioned as room facilities) No fridge.
