Hotel De France Invalides

I like the neatness and practicality of the small rooms for one person, their silence. The breakfast was generous. The staff was very nice, at the reception as well as at the breakfast. My room was East facing and very bright in the morning The bathroom was very clean and practical .

The bedroom floor was not very clean which was unpleasant with bare feet. The staircase would need some refurbishment. The reception should explain where exactly to present the card on the side of the room door in order to open the door.

The hotel room location, comfort, style, and everything overall was amazing! My husband and I loved our room! It was just a short walk away from the Eiffel Tower! The staff were also so sweet and personable.

The only thing that was a bit of a challenge was the air conditioning. So our room had great air conditioning, but it would only stay on for a certain amount of time. You would fall asleep in a nice cool air conditioned room, but then you’d wake up in the middle of the night having to turn the AC back on over and over because it kept shutting off. We even prolonged the timer setting so it would last the whole night but sadly that did not seem to work.

Room was clean, bathroom was spacious. Location is walking distance to metro, a couple of restaurants and the Eiffel Tower. You can get made to order eggs at breakfast. There is a small fridge and coffee pot to make coffee and tea which is included. Beds super comfortable

No full restaurant on site and central air wasn't working well. There is also no safe in the room. Our TV remote wasn't working at the time of our stay

We had 2 rooms together on the 6th floor. My room was very big and luxurious, my husbands room was tiny and very basic - yet we paid the same for both rooms. 15 - 20 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, couple of minutes walk to the park for excellent views and photos of the tower. Couple of minutes walk to lots of nice eateries amd the river. Staff were always happy, friendly and helpful.

Our vent above the shower was very thick with dust so we didn't use the shower in thst room. My husbands room was very small and basic in comparison (for the same price). My husbands new bottle of aftershave went missing from the room.

The location was perfect! In a quiet area but a walk to many of the sights and to 3 different subway lines. There were many cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. The room and bathroom were newly refurbished, clean and very comfortable.

No fridge in our room and while some of the reception staff were happy to provide us with milk for tea and coffee there were a couple of female staff members who were very rude and would not. Some of the common areas are in need of refurbishment but we didn’t really use them so it didn’t bother us.

Close to tout Eiffel, walking distance

Breakfast was served in a type of underground . Looked like a Damien . Very average Brekky, . The housemaids kept walking past with dirty laundry when having Brekky. Not a good look . Suggest to have your Brekky out . No iron amd no iron board. Had to ask for it for each yome needed. Looks like they had only 1 for sharing amongst the good sets. Hotel downstairs has very average food with BC an expensive Price tag for no reasons .

Really great shower - rain shower with great pressure and good temperature change. Room was very clean Great location! - close to lots of landmarks and metro station Free afternoon tea every day with pastries and treats was a really pleasant surprise Very friendly and helpful staff

Only thing I found difficult was that the room was a bit crammed for space - it was a bit hard to move around and toilet was crammed in a corner. Otherwise, everything was amazing!

Location was near many restaurants, metro and sites with a view of Invalides from many rooms. Large windows.Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were newly updated with rain type showers and heated towel rack. AC worked great and was quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Reception knew English very well. The privilege room had a great view, closet, and plenty of space to move around. Breakfast had plenty of choices including freshly boiled eggs, fruit, deli meat and cheese, fancy coffee machine, cereal, fresh pastries. May soon be a 4 star hotel instead of 3!

Regular rooms had limited storage space, no closet, just a couple of shelves with some space for hanging clothes. Not enough for 2 people to store clothes. Left a lot in suitcase. Was ok for moving around. Just a bit tight. Privilege room had more space with a closet. Size of rooms varied from room to room (common in small hotels). One had a little table one did not. Would not prevent me from booking here again.

The person on Reception who greeted us when we arrived was friendly and welcoming and also gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant. When we had difficulty with our room key, the man on Reception was also helpful in resolving our issue. The hotel was in an excellent location really close to the metro and in walking distance of the Eiffel Tower.

The failure of the system of entry into the room, which relied on a QR code on a phone being held at just the right distance from the reader by the room door. In the end, even the 'expert' who was the helpful receptionist could not make the technology work and had to resort to an old-fashioned room key.
