Hôtel du Temps

The staff was very nice to us at every moment. The room was very cozy and plenty of details from the management on our arrival that make you feel very welcome. There was a minibar with a bottle opener (is not always the case) and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean!

The bed size is a bit small (probably is the french standard); we are normal-size people and we were very close to each other, waking the other up at every movement, I guess plus-size guests might find it a bit uncomfortable to rest properly. Also, the bathroom was a bit hard to get used to it without a shower curtain, and we ended up showering sitting in the bathtub. 2 other things I would have liked to know: 1. the bedroom has almost unobstructed visibility to the bathroom, which takes a bit of privacy off (and there are no windows in the bathroom), 2. the walls are VERY thin. We could hear everything our neighbours did or said (in our case they were pretty educated and not too noisy, but you get the wrong neighbour and your stay can easily become a nightmare).

This is my 3rd time in Paris and this has to be my favourite hotel, it's stunning and tres chic. The design of my room and the hotel is eclectic and contemporary and loved every minute of my stay. Shani, Parfait and the lady serving breakfast are literally the best and have an amazing friendly charisma and did anything to make us feel welcome during our stay, I would absolutely come and stay here again. This hotel is dog friendly and it was delightful to bring him in and out with ease on the lift, by the end of the week our dog knew his way around the hotel! I loved the fact they put us on the 5th floor which was amazing and had the best city view directly outside and was amazing to wake up to that everyday, I also love that they give you a Hôtel du Temps tote bag (which is a great gesture and added touch, great branding and advertising technique!) excited to come back again very soon.

This is my first time travelling by car and we parked in the Indigo Paris Montholon (literally opposite the hotel right next to the square Montholon which was expensive but the hotel advised for us to park at partnership discounted rate car park near Rue d'Abbeville, it's not their fault about the traffic, but we made a mistake to change car parks as traffic was horrendous and we wasted nearly 4 hours after being told the car park was full, we then drove back to our original car park. That was the only thing but everything else was great.

The bed was on the small side for my tall friend, whose feet stuck out.

The staff! The staff were amazing and always ready and happy to help. They made us feel so at home. They spoke English and communicated excellently. The hotel had lots of lovely details, for instance, Aesop toiletries in the bathroom. We landed in Paris much much earlier than check-in, but the lady at the reception was kind enough to check us in before check-in time. This made all the difference for our stay and we really truly appreciated this gesture. This was our first time in Paris and the location was perfect for us. We could walk easily to places, restaurants and shops around the hotel and affordable Ubers to farther sites. This hotel is elegant yet cozy and charming.

The TV was a little small and dated. I wish we had a hotel key card, I didn’t like having to drop off keys, the helpful polite staff made this more tolerable, I was always happy to see them. The room was small with a low head room, but this is the norm in Paris. The room was a little less pretty than the photos, but it was still pretty and charming.

Room was a bit hot

10 mins walk from Gare de Nord and 2 mins from a metro stop so very easy to get around - let us book in at 10.30 as a room was ready. Good location to also explore some more off beat Paris locations such canal Martin area. Hotel was small but perfectly formed - nice and quirky. Our room was small but very comfy, air conditioning and was very quiet. Staff were very friendly and very happy to help with suggestions. Breakfast was simple but nicely done. Able to leave case on hotel and collect on way back to Eurostar. Overall great stay and would definitely use hotel again.

The staff here are amazing. So friendly and helpful and welcoming! They really made our stay very pleasant. The room itself was very clean and stylishly decorated and the bed was comfortable. The location was also very convenient for exploring Paris.

Unfortunately, we stayed during a very warm period and because the hotel is near a busy road we found that with the windows closed we were stifled and with the windows open we were choking on car exhaust in the room. Not the hotels fault at all and I imagine in the winter, with the windows closed it would be perfectly lovely!

The hotel is in a convenient location, not far from the Gare de L'Est and the Gare du Nord. It has a lovely little reception area and bar where you can get drinks and breakfast if you want. The room was really nice and tastefully decorated with a little adjoining bathroom with a small bath. I found the bed comfortable and the noise from the street/other guests was minimal. The staff at reception were also very helpful, going out of their way to be accommodating and letting me leave bags after checking out with no problems. There is an elevator so you don't have to climb lots of stairs with a big bag :-)

I am tall, so the bath was a little small for me, but still very useable and not a big problem. There was a small fridge, which was nice, but it would also be helpful to also have a way to make coffee or tea in the room. But, that's more of a 'nice to have' rather than a necessity, as you can also ask for this in the bar.

The rooms were very quiet, no street noise as we faced an interior enclosure. The staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. The room was small, but well designed and had most everything we needed (plugs by the bed, AC, cup in the bathroom to hold toothbrushes, nice bath products, hairdryer..). The 7 subway line is super close and a great connector to all the sights.

There is no full-length mirror in the room and no shower curtain to help minimize splashing into the bathroom.
