Hotel Clément

LOVED it. Very French so great for first time Paris travellers. the wallpaper, white doors that open the windows and flower pots outside your bedroom lovely man on reception (evening of 20th nov), he was so helpful, so friendly and a true asset to your hotel you are very lucky to have him. gave restaurant recommendations, spoke excellent English. we did not have adaptors or toothbrushes as we forgot to bring them but luckily you provided them and had EVERYTHING we needed 😀 :D we missed our flight in Beauvais and so we booked into a 4 star hotel in Beauvais which is not as good as your hotel, and your hotel was 5 times better than this one! we cannot wait to return ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Our second stay here and we liked it more this time than last, mainly because we had a better room. Last time we were in a small dark room at the back overlooking the central well. This time we were on the 5th floor at the front and had a view across the rooftops to Saint Sulpice! The room was small but nicely decorated and with a comfortable bed. And despite being at the front there was no noise to speak of as this is a quiet road. The location just two minutes from Mabillon Metro and four from Saint Germain des Pres can't be beaten and there are lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. But this is an expensive neighbourhood and the prices in those establishments reflect that.

We found the room a bit hot despite the very cold weather, as the radiator is huge and can't be adjusted (that we could see anyway - I admit we never asked!)

A lovely, friendly hotel in the best location. The rooms are small but that is usual in Central Paris. They are well decorated in traditional style. We had a junior suite and a small double room. Overlooking the church. Loved the view. The staff are so helpful. The hotel had an issue with the plumbing so no hot water. . We stayed 1 night so didn't mind really.. We got a 50% reduction.. Very generous compensation. Didn't have the breakfast. We went to a bakery (SECCO) round the corner.. Great coffee, bread and pastries. Can really recommend if you want to be central and in a non chain characterful hotel. Note, the lift is tiny and the stairs steep. Just a warning to anyone not so able on stairs. No kettle but they will boil water for you, we just took our mugs to the lobby to get the water and make a coffe/tea with our own things. The lobby is lovely to sit in.

Nothing really

The room was tiny and very clean. Ok, it was a small room but this is something that you know before booking. The clean service does a great job here, that's something very important for us. The location of the hotel is simply great, very close to 3 metro stations, minishops, nice cafés- brasseries and restaurants, cozy wine bars and fashion brand stores. The 6th department of Paris is beautiful and very safe, not so touristy and classy.

I didn't have a bad experience or trouble with the cost and amenities.

Location is fabulous. Plenty of lovely shops and cafes in the area. Room was spotless. Staff were amazingly helpful. Just a 15 min walk to the Louvre through narrow streets filled with small art galleries ,cafes and boutiques. We will definitely be back.

Although we arrived in Paris (by train) early and had trudged around all day, with our backpacks, so were tired and sweaty when, we arrived we were greeted most welcomely. There was no rush at reception to find my passport or pay the city tax...all in good time. The staff here were some of the loveliest people. The area felt safe at night but was also vibrant with cafes... however, we heard no street noise from our room at all. The rrom was clean, comfortable and everyting worked as so. The 2 extra pillows in the wardrobe were wonderful. We left early so did not have breakfast but the restaurant looked clen and well stocked. I travelled with my 20 year old daughter and we both agreed that we would be more than happy to stay here again on our next visit to Paris.

A small kettle in the room to make an early morning coffee would be fabulous but that's not a complaint, just a suggestion :-)

Great location. Extremely helpful and friendly staff

Breakfast. 12€ additional charge per person. Very little choice. Only 1 slice of bread for toast. Was told none left at 9am. No pastries. Milk was warm for cereals and only 2 choices. Eggs were nice, but only boiled eggs available. Only had breakfast on the first morning. Much better value for money eating out. Hotel extremely hot, even in November. Not the hotels fault, but the shop’s opposite were very noisy. 6am and the staff were setting up. Shouting and loud music coming from a speaker. Was not able to leave the balcony door open to cool the room down because of the noise.

The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring Paris. The neighborhood felt very safe and the hotel is located in a quiet side street even though it is very close to public transportation. There are plenty of restaurants near by. Our room was very clean and had a good size compared to other Paris hotel rooms. There are only very few rooms on each floor. There were only three rooms on our floor, which made it very quiet. The photo shows the view out of our window. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The walls are thin, but that is to be expected in an older building.

Hotel Clement is located in the Latin Quarter...our favorite neighborhood for walking and dining and people watching. Great transportation options, metro and RER train to CDG.

Room was smallish even though we paid for larger room?

The stuff was just perfect. Everyone was very very polite and kind. Their English were perfect something that you don’t see often in France. The hotel is INSANELY clean. The cleaning stuff is the best I’ve seen in any hotel I’ve been in. Can’t say enough good things about it. Also the location is great. There are several metro stations within 5 minute walk, there’s a Starbucks nearby for your morning coffee and the Eiffel Tower isn’t far at all. There’s also a super market on the next corner.

The room was a bit noisy. Mainly because we had noisy neighbors.. also the doors make a lot of noise when opening/closing.
