Hotel De Seine

The location of this hotel was perfect! It was just around the corner from wonderful cafés, and patisserie shops, yet it was quiet as soon as you turned the corner and entered to the hotel. There was no noise disturbance at all. Bedding was very comfortable in room, size or smaller than US hotels, but fine for our five nights day with a bureau, a desk, and two night tables.

We liked everything about this hotel from the location to the staff and to the delicious breakfast (at additional cost of $15) served each morning in the private little dining room. One tiny thing is that in addition to the hand wash pump, I would have like a bar of soap. No big deal, we bought one.

Excellent location in 6th Arond. 1 block from St Germaine. Easy walk to many shops and restaurants. Hotel is smaller boutique Hôtel decorated in traditional style. Per our request for upper floor we were on top (6th) floor in front with nice street view. Room was cozy but not cramped. Bath was good size and well equipped with a shower. Service by 24 hour staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet was not included but was reasonably priced and complete and fresh. In fact each morning even from the 6th floor we could smell the fresh baking bread!!

Have no negative comments. We did not have a car so I don’t know what the parking situation may have been.

Bed was smaller than expected and we could hear other guests speaking and moving around in their rooms.

We liked the decor of the hotel, in the lounge, the dining room and in our room. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is situated in a central spot, and this is one of its benefits.

The hotel is really lovely and central and offers a very good stay in Saint Germain des Prés in Paris. Of course there are things that can be improved. for example adding to the very delicious breakfast that has a wide variety of good and tasty food, better coffee options. That is because except for the espresso that was excellent, the cappuccino and the americano that the hotel offers, tasted a bit weird.

We just enjoyed another great stay at Hotel de Seine! Guadalupe is fantastic! Love the quality French toiletries provided, and the rooms and bathrooms are always spotlessly clean. Breakfast is better than the average continental breakfast in the area. Croissants are superb, and so are the crepes with maple syrup. Location is fab, our favourite spot in the 6th arrondissement, full of life and everything is a few steps from the hotel. I’ve been staying here since 31 years ago!

Close to everything especially in the winter months when you don’t want to have long walking distance to attractions.

Noisy Saturday Sunday and Monday. I did break it up with the lady at the front desk 3 times. But no relocation was offered. Was told to tell the next staff guy if it happened again. I didn’t mention it was still happening but no resolution offered . It may not have been above as we thought some kids may be running… it may have been next building from room 45 but it was 3 not so pleasant night.

This is a quintessential left bank hotel in one of the most charming areas of Paris. The room was quiet and comfortable, with a lovely view toward the Eiffel Tower. There were three of us (one 13 year old) and the extra bed in the room was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. You are within steps to anything you might want, from Michelin restaurants, to patisseries, to shops, wine, or groceries. We visited during the Paris "manifestations" and even piles of garbage on the streets could not dampen the joy of residing in this glorious neighborhood and comfortable hotel for a few days. We'll be back!

This quaint, boutique hotel was well located, clean and the staff were professional and friendly. The marble tiled bathroom was modern and clean. It was a treat to awaken each morning to the smell of freshly baked croissants.

The hotel offers air conditioning which was appreciated, but with the combination of high 20’s temperatures and high humidity we found it warm in the room. The lowest temperature setting for the AC was 22 degrees.

This hotel is exceptionally well-located. It is one block from a gorgeous street full of delicious restaurants (Rue de Buci), a gelato shop, and a grocery market. In addition, it’s only a couple blocks from the Seine and the Pont (bridge) des Arts which delivers you in front of the Louvre and Pont Neuf, which takes you to the island where Saint Chapelle and Notre Dame are located. Also close to Metro stops. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was small, but clean and large enough for two guests. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. It does have an elevator, which was critical for us, as my daughter cannot walk up stairs. It is a tiny elevator - not large enough for a wheelchair, but we didn’t need it for that.

No complaints really. We realized there was a small wet spot (leak?) near the closet upon leaving, but confident they resolved this.

Location. Location. Location. Great, lively area, yet quiet hotel. Many restaurants around to choose from. Bed was extremely comfortable. It was generally clean. WiFi worked well and breakfast was very delicious and appropriate in width of choice for a shorter stay. Staff was helpful and friendly, especially the breakfast lady.

Room could be bigger, especially bathroom that also needs renovation. They solved the cold water problem very fast.
