The room was small but had everything I needed, including a fan for hot weather. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was great! The hotel is located near a cafe, art gallery, theater and bookstore, with numerous restaurants and cafes a short distance away. The staff is exceptional and went out of their way to help me several times. They helped me with my bag up the winding staircase since there is no elevator. The garden looks lovely but I didn't get a chance to sit in it, or on the terrace near my room (room 8) because it rained quite heavily while I was there.

The walls are thin and you can hear people coming and going. The first time I stayed there this was a problem because the neighboring guests talked loudly, slammed doors, etc. This time the other guests were more considerate!

Great little place to stay in Paris. The location was fantastic - walking distance to many Paris attractions and in a lively, neighbourhood full of character. It was easy to get there from the airport using public transport. Quirky, fun place with colourful rooms which were clean and comfortable, and reasonably spacious. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

It is in an older building without great soundproofing. It was usually quiet, but some guests weren’t as respectful as they should be.

Location is very comfortable, few meters from Line 1 metro. Hotel has great value for money for the location Do not expect too much from the room, it's a bit worn ... but it's clean and comfortable for sleeping. Access is 24H , and staff is very kind.

Nothing to signal, for this price in Paris center you can't expect too much. The basics are all ok, but you have to accept this is a small hotel and the building has not been renovated for sometime. Bathroom was freshly renovated in room I was staying (2)

This is my favorite hotel that I have ever stayed at! It is a beautiful older building with charming decorations throughout and uniquely themed rooms. The location is very ideal, and within walking distance to many common attractions. There is a small courtyard outside as well as walk out terraces on each floor (at least I think, I didn’t check every floor). The price was excellent, especially given the area. I didn’t have any security concerns while I was there, and overall it felt very safe and well staffed.

The Wi-Fi was pretty spotty, although I imagine this a common issue in many of older buildings here. I would plan ahead if you’re going to need a strong consistent Wi-Fi connection, as you likely won’t have it here

The room and hotel were both adorable, the manager (owner?) was so kind and helpful, and the neighborhood was perfect. It was within walking distance to all the major central sites, but it felt cozy and sweet - not so touristy and easy to navigate. There were tons of great shops and restaurants everywhere. The hotel was far more unique and intimate and also far less expensive than so many others. I'd stay here again in a minute.

A couple of minor things. The street could get noisy on weekends + during trash pickup time, and we kept the windows open for fresh air, so it sometimes was hard to sleep. Also the shower was en suite, but not the toilet, so you had to leave your room to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It wasn't so bad, though. It was a walkup, so while it was fine for us, for those with bad knees or heavier bags, it might have been tricky.

Everything was excellent! The staff was very kind and informative. Τhe room was spacious, beautiful and warm, at all hours of the day as the radiator was always on. Τhe location is very convenient as the accommodation is in the center of Paris and close to all the attractions (metro and bus stops are very close but we personally did not need them due to the short distances). In general, the whole experience at the accommodation was perfect! I highly recommend it and would prefer it again on my next visit to Paris!

There was some dust in the room but all in all it was clean. Also there is not an elevator in the building (which we didnt mind at all, but is something to keep in mind)

The hotel is in a great location and the room was sparkling clean with a nice bathroom. Oooh! Those tiny showers, though.

The people in the neighboring rooms seemed to think they were the only ones on the floor and proceeded to be VERY loud any time they came back to their rooms. And when the theater across the street got out the crowd was abuzz and when the actors came out, spectators cheered and clapped. If you are noise sensitive ask for a room in the back of the building! P.S. there is not an elevator so be prepared to carry your bags!

Friendly and helpful reception at this unique and quirky hotel. My en-suite room was clean and perfectly adequate, with the huge plus that overlooked an internal courtyard of plants and trees. So with the window open I woke to the sound of bird song..... All within 5 mins walk from the Seine! A pure gem with a old fashioned vibe.

Note: there is no breakfast served at the hotel but you can buy croissants, coffee etc locally and eat it outside on a shared terrace overlooking the internal courtyard. Bliss on a sunny morning!

The location was amazing - 2 mins from the Seine and close to the wonderful street & eat culture further away from the river. The managers were very helpful: they let me watch the Queen's funeral on their TV: while tis was happening I was able to observe how much they went out of their way to help other guests with their questions. I loved the quirky decorations - and the fact there is a shady garden and terrace. It's also very quiet - it's along a culdesac so there's no passing traffic, despite being close to everything.

I would have appreciated a kettle in the room for an early morning cup of tea or coffee.

I love this little hotel, comparably priced with AirBnB's of similar quality and in an ideal location. The staff are always available, most helpful, and friendly. It has recently been renovated, so the bathroom fixtures are modern and perfectly clean.

My room was a bit cold on my first night there in January, but the manager immediately furnished me with an extra heater which did the trick. The hotel is on a little side street and the sign is small and so nondescript, you could easily miss it. I like this hotel so much, I'd like it to be easier to find.
