Hotel Saint-Louis Marais

The hotel is in such a great location, Marais is full of authentic cafes and restaurants plus the museums and squares. The hotel was walking distance to Notre Dame, we had a lovely visit to Shakespeare and Co, the hotel is also walking distance to the Louvre but with the metro being just at the end of the street you can get to the Louvre in minutes. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was 10/10 can’t fault it. Lovely little boulangerie and cafe just a few steps away. Very helpful staff 24/7. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Hotel Saint-Louis again.

The bathroom was extremely nice. Excellent water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water, as well as, soft towels and a towel warmer. The room was very nice. The location in the Marais was very good. The staff was wonderful!!

Since we had stayed in 3 other hotels during our visit, I was disappointed by the breakfast at this hotel. The pastries did not taste fresh; more like day old. While all of the other hotels had the wonderful fresh cheeses that France is known for, the Saint Louis Marais had pre-packaged cheese--pretty much the same every day.

Excellent location between 2 metro stations. Short walk to Bastille. Lots of places to eat all around. Smiling front office staff, very helpful. Decent sized room, and equally decent bathroom. Good airconditioning.

Probably a bit too small at the entrance, and the lift is really small.

Excellent location. It was really close to two metro stations, which gave easy access to the Louvre area. It was also a short walk to the main area of Le Marais. The room was beautifully decorated and we loved that our room had windows that could open for ventilation. The two closets was also very helpful storage space for our stay. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious and the shower was also great. They also had a lift, which was very welcome so we didn't have to carry our luggage upstairs.

The air conditioning didn't seem to be very cool, even on the lowest setting. Be aware the lift is very small; we have go up one at a time with our suitcases.

Location was close to Ile de la Cite and Isle Saint Louis, but across the river in a quiet serene beautiful neighborhood. The room was gorgeous and larger than expected. The staff were very welcoming and accommodated our early arrival. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and luxurious. They also had a private car and driver to take us to the train station. The driver, Jimmy, insisted on walking us to the correct spot and helped with bags to be sure we were where we needed to be to board the Eurostar. Everyone was professional and kind.

Not a single thing to improve on.

The room and location were great. The hotel is located in Quartier Saint Paul, which is a few minutes away from Le Marais. The staff were very helpful and friendly. You have to leave the key to the room at the front desk when you leave (and collect it when you return). This didn't present an issue because the desk was staffed around the clock to let you in. There is a small lift that can easily fit large luggage, to avoid having to carry everything up the stairs. The hotel is also walking distance to Notre Dame, Saint Germain and the Eiffel Tower (1h 15m). Up the road (50 metres) you can find a small self service laundromat where you can wash and dry clothes. Across from that is nice Patisserie and a Cafe that seemed quite popular (but I didn't get to)
