Turenne Le Marais

Love the location and proximity to the Metro station. There are so many great food and shopping options within walking distance of the property.

Some of the pillows were not washed or dried properly. There was a strong smell of body odor eminating from several pillows and the sheets on various nights and rooms. However, this only happened on the first night of each stay in different rooms. After housekeeping changed the linens, the smell went away. We stayed in two different rooms and this was the case for both rooms.

Excellent service upon arrival. Beautiful room. Spacious for Paris. Quiet. Perfect location. Staff was gracious but gave space for the internal experience of wandering Paris. Loved my room. Loved that water / tea/ mini fridge. Loved the view towards Hotel Sully.

Thé restaurant area could be polished up a little. I had no need to use it so was totally fine. I love how simple this hotel looks from the street.

This is a perfect location to walk to many sights in this area. The neighborhood is safe and has plenty of places to enjoy patisseries, restaurants and cafes and just wandering around Paris. There is a little square very nearby with a perfect setting for dinner and relaxing. The hotel was clean , quiet, and freshly decorated. The staff friendly and helpful.

The bathroom was very small, even by Paris standards. It was new, clean and modern but my husband and I are both slim and tall and still had a challenge to move about in the tiny space. If you are a larger person, this could be problematic. HOWEVER, this may have been unique to the room we happened to be given.

Great location. Close to the Metro, and plenty of cafe's, restaurants, shops, grocery store, etc. nearby. It's a busy area but seems to quiet down later in the evening. No problems with street noise while in the room. Staff were all very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Rooms were very small but I expected that after reading other reviews. We had 2 rooms on the 4th floor, both very clean and brightly lit. The elevator was working for our entire stay. The AC didn't seem to turn on when it got warm in the room, but we were able to open the wide double windows overlooking the street during the evening and cooled down the room for sleeping in no time.

In both our rooms, the bathroom door was a sliding glass door that didn't fit tightly against the wall or door frame so there was a bit of lack of privacy while in the bathroom, but otherwise the bathroom itself was clean and modern and well stocked.

We had a twin room which was comfortable and modern with a nice view out onto the street. The hotel is in a fabulous location, walking distance to various metro stations and lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and most helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The window/door was difficult to close. When we asked about this we were told to lift the window to get it closed. It was heavy so we were unable to do this. We slept with the window open which did mean there was noise from the street but this didn't bother us at all.

This is a great hotel for 3 stars. Very clean, nice decor and super comfortable bed. The room and bathroom are small but that is usual for central Paris. The inclusive breakfast was a real treat - lots of variety and really good coffee! It is in an amazing district and I was able to walk everywhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As a solo traveller I felt comfortable and safe here.

I cannot fault this hotel. Any imperfections are minor and easily overlooked.

We booked this hotel on the same day, because the conditions in our Airbnb weren’t acceptable- I booked it on a whim and I was DELIGHTED to find such a clean, lovely, welcoming space to sleep with jet lag! It could not have been better. The man who worked at the front desk welcomed us every night when we returned from the day, and greeted us each morning. There was fresh, clean water in the lobby that made filling water bottles and cups at night simple. The hotel room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. I have already recommended this place to my friends for their future paris trips!

The two most important things were the staff and the location. The staff were marvelous. Very friendly and ready to help with any problem. And the location was perfect. The Marais as a whole is a wonderful area but our street and just beyond was a fantastic collection of restaurants, Boulangeries, shops and bars, mixed with xharming old Paris buildings and architecture. Our room while not large was vey well arranged and felt bigger than it was. The bathroom was larger and more modern than we expected and n excellent features. The long old style windows opened and added significantly to the beauty and charm of the room. In short, the hotel was a magical place to us and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have very few negatives. The shower had instant hot water and a rain shower head, but it was hard to keep the shower door completely closed. The heat worked well but I would like more control on temperature, although we opened the windows when to warm and loved it. See - struggling for negatives.

it’s Paris, and it’s Le Marais, so of course the rooms are tight; that is expected. However, there is an elevator! The rooms were super tidy, fresh paint and furnishings, beds were excellent. The bathrooms were crisp and new and really nice as well. The staff was welcoming, helpful, pleasant, and efficient. There are fountains in the common breakfast area to allow you to fill up your water bottles (“gourds”) with either tap or sparkling water. Hotel breakfasts are 15 euros and feature a nice array of fruit, cheeses, ham, prosciutto, yogurt, teas, coffees, pastries, granola, espressos, hot milk, juices. Staff stayed positive about guarding our luggage, early arrivals, late departures, need for Taxis, recommendations for restaurants, etc. 24/7 front desk.

We stayed in a triple room which was excellent. Unlike many hotels where you have to use a sofa bed, there were three proper single beds, two in the main bedroom and one in a separate area. The toilet was separate from the bathroom - also very useful when there are three of you in the room. The location is brilliant, right by Place des Vosges and close to St Paul metro station - line 1 so very easy and fast to travel east-west. A good water fountain by reception serving still and sparkling water.
