Hôtel Caron

Well maintained and comfy tourist hotel in the heart of Le Marais. Quiet location close to Metro and bus station as well as many shops and restaurants. Small and modern with helpful and friendly staff. Comfy bed and nice bathroom. Excellent room service.

Perfect stay

Beautiful hotel in a fab location. The closest metro station (Saint Paul) is a 5 minute walk, although we didn't use it. We walked to all all main tourist attractions. The Eiffel Tower was an hour and 10 minutes away by foot. Notre Dame was a 20 minute walk. Reception staff were fantastic and really helpful. One staff member booked our taxi to the airport when we were unable to avail of the metro and RER due to routine maintenance. Reception staff spoke English really well and were so friendly and welcoming. The housekeeping was a very high standard. Fantastic room facilities. We really appreciated the free mini bar, which they even topped up daily. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful was average. I felt it was quite expensive for what it was - €14 each every morning. That plus the daily tourist tax made for a surprising outstanding room bill at checkout.

Hotel Caron is a lovely small hotel located in a fabulous area. The rooms are small, but that is the norm in Paris. Our room was clean and comfortable. It contained everything we needed. Although it is located in a busy area it is very quiet inside. The air conditioning and wifi both worked well. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to both bus stops and a metro line. The bus stop is a one minute walk while the metro is a 5 minute walk away. Within a 5 minute walk of the hotel their are countless restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, etc. All staff we dealt with were most friendly, welcoming and helpful. We will stay here again when we return to Paris.

Loved everything about this property.

The location was good. We booked three rooms and they kindly placed us together. We had the third floor all to ourselves. We liked the room and the decor. We used the fridge and safe in the closet every day. The elevator was good to have and we liked how the hallway lights were on motion sensors. Rooms are small, but we expected that in Paris. We had enough space for ourselves and all of our stuff. We had three different people in reception during our stay and they were all wonderful and helpful. The St. Paul metro stop is close. We had an easy walk to the Bastille Metro stop to catch our train at Gare de l'Est the day we left.

The shower is small and you had to be very careful not to get water everywhere. I used the tub in my children's room a couple of times and it was great. Only one side of the bed had an outlet for charging our phones. We just used the one by the t.v. so it was fine.

breakfast was good, the same products every day. the waitress was not available for long minutes and when some rolls or . cruissant were finished, there was no replacement, and the lady went to the nearest patisserie it was really a rich and tasty breakfast special praise goes to Yve the desk manager who was extremely friendly and helpful. the rooms were in a very good condition as if it was just after renovation

The bar was not refilled every day as promised. some days yes and others not A bed-side table was missing

Hotel Caron is perfectly placed for a trip to Paris. Set within the historical, and ultra trendy, Marais area of Paris you couldn’t be in a better place for leisurely strolls, high end and vintage shopping galore as well as prime people watching locations.

it’s very hard to fault Hotel Caron. it was our second stay here, and definitely not our last. until the first year where we had a very spacious room on the 1st floor, we were on the 6th floor in a smaller room in the attic (with traditional vaulted ceilings) however the sensational view of the Paris rooftops easily made up for the smaller space.

This hotel is really good in principle. Good location, nice room.

Something strange with the cleaning hours. Between 14-16, hours that some people, like us, will consider a rest hour. We booked a taxi to the airport via the hotel. It should have been 53€. The driver charged us 59€. We asked the hotel to check it and they refused. It is not their problem, obviously, but don't you care about your customers? This driver will continue scamming people.

The location is perfect with amazing cafes and restaurants in walking distance and the metro not far away either. Clean and comfortable and the staff are amazing. Such a nice friendly welcome every day.

This isn’t a dislike as such. Rooms are small. We were on the top floor (thankfully there is an elevator) so had the sloping roof. We just had to be very conscious of the sloping roof so as to not hit it getting in and out of bed. For our short stay in Paris is was perfect.

Perfect location, really close to a metro station so an easy journey from CDG. Best thing about the hotel are the staff who were just lovely and so helpful. We had a room on the 6th floor which was much bigger than expected. I have stayed in some hotels in Paris which were more expensive with much smaller rooms. The whole area of Le Marais is a great place to stay. Loads of lovely bars and super restaurants. I could not recommend more highly!

Everything was perfect!

Highly recommended! The hotel is located in the heart of Le Marais next to the central street of the beautiful district and in walking distance to the metro, supermarkets, restaurants etc. The room and the bathroom were spacious and very modern, the bed comfy. The staff was amazing, very friendly, took care of all personal wishes and made me/us feel very welcome! Thank you so much for the amazing stay!
