La Planque Hotel

The design is exactly what you need to get you into the Parisian mood. The place is charming, with high attention to details. Staff is kind, welcoming and happy to assist with anything needed

It will be great if I could use my room card to unlock the main door when arriving after 1 AM :) had to wait for a few minutes to get back in

it’s an old building witha lot of character, they renovated it completely. it’s very cute. great staff, I urgently needed to print something for my work they printed it for me free of charge, and they very friendly as well. There is a possibility to book a parking space upfront. We very glad that we did that, it was amazing, it is 1 min drive from the hotel, but still great.

the room are pretty tiny, but the bathroom was bigger then expected. (but, I mean, it’s Paris. Sont forget that) they created clever storage spaces in the room. so all in all it was totally fine.

Everyone was eager to assist, suggest the best routes, and eager to satisfy our every needs. The room even though small in size, was fully equiped even with usb outlets. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious . Excellent breakfast with many choices, and great coffee machine! I especially liked the egg boiler, where you could time and boil your eggs according to your likings. The french baguettes were great, so where the croissants. Coffe and snacks where available all day at the reception area. I would gladly stay there again in my next visit to Paris

Nice small and charming boutique hotel close to Canal Saint Martin, a lively and pretty area with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. It was perfect in summer to spend the evenings there because there are many young people having picnic close to the water and this area is full of life and summer spirit. The Métro Goncourd is only a few steps away from the hotel Our room was small but very quiet and pretty. We loved the Rituals-Products in the bathroom :-) We also enjoyed an very tasty french breakfast with fruits, fine bakery, different sorts of jam, ham an cheese and good café au lait. All the members of the staff are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. As I was travelling alone with my 15-year-old daughter, I am still extremly thankful to Monsieur Belaid who helped us in a very unpleasant situation so that we got back home well and have all the best memories about our trip to Paris- merci beaucoup :-) ! We will definitely come back the next time we travel to Paris!

This hotel is an absolute hidden gem. Tastefully decorated, beautiful facilities, helpful staff and a fantastic breakfast.

The hotel is very conveniently located - 5 min walk to Goncourt and ~10 min walk to République. Along the street from the métro to the hotel there are some interesting local book shops, supermarkets and clothing stores. It’s also just a short walk to Canal Saint Martin, which is less touristic but very beautiful (more “Paris”than la Seine in my opinion). I felt very welcomed by the staffs. They helped me with luggages, lent me adapters, and even revised my French writings. They are very friendly, helpful, and respectful.

Wifi was not very stable.

Room was great, comfy bed, large shower and really clean and fresh Breakfast was a good selection of things - pastries, fruit, pancakes, yoghurt, cheese and cold meats etc. Location was good - a short walk from the Metro and Canal St. Martin area There are lots of bars and restaurants nearby - some more lively than others, so you can pick and choose the vibe you require The staff were friendly, helpful and laid back but professional

The lift is tiny and was prone to not working during our stay - not a problem unless you were on the 6th floor like us lol At least now we are fitter than before we stayed but would be a problem if you weren't agile or of a large build Drinks machine at breakfast wasn't particularly great - especially for tea drinkers(hot water from the machine + tea bag then + milk from the machine) - a separate jug of milk would have been a preferable and better option rather than trying to use the machine for milk plus more a few more standard teas required in the selection available rather than perfumed ones !

We stayed at La Planque for 3 nights, after reading reviews that the hotel was slightly out the way we was slightly concerned. However , when we got there the hotel was perfect location for us as we could just get the metro to it which was at the end of the street. The hotel exceeded our expectations there was free refil water, use of tea and coffee machine which offered lattes, hot chocolates, warm milk etc. The hotel had soap/shampoo in the room which was a nice touch and the room got cleaned everyday. The staff was very helpful as I made a request last minute for my other half to have baloons and chocolate in the room and the staff went the extra mile to sort this for us with last minute notice. The beds were very comfy, rooms had lots of space and although you could hear some people walking up and down the stairs it did not wake us up once and I am a light sleeper. Overall, fantastic stay, could not recommend enough.

Immaculately decorated and maintained hotel in an old building on a quiet street, 5 minutes walk from the canal (if that). Friendly staff, clean, bright room, comfortable furniture, good heavy blackout curtains. Metro is a few minutes' walk away; lots of restaurants and cafes within minutes. Beautiful, relaxed but vibrant area of Paris.

The room wasn't huge and didn't have a desk or a lot of wardrobe space. Absolutely fine for a few days of sightseeing but less ideal for a long-stay or a business trip.

It is a small boutique hotel located in a very communicative area. You have several different metros around. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming you and making sure there is everything you need. The rooms are extremely clean, small but all you need for a 4 days stay. The view from our window was the beautiful Parisian roofs and each evening we went next to the canal for a drink. It is totally recommended.
