Crystal Hotel

the property is near the metro and very convenient if you want to tour around paris. the size of the room is pretty good as compared to other areas of Paris i have stayed before. there are 2 lovely cafes in the corner as well which is very good!

the room is cold and no available iron.

The location of the hotel was fabulous, right in the main shipping & cafe precinct of St Germain. We were able to walk everywhere to visit the main attractions in Paris, and the Concierge was great with his advice about ATM's, Post Office, supermarket and bakeries. The staff were very polite & welcoming, and the rooms were very quiet when the streets were quite busy outside. The rooms may have been a little small and the elevator very small, however the hotel did an excellent job in catering to our needs and the location was perfect.

Tea/coffee/fresh towels replenishment could be improved; however, these were minor things in the greater scheme of things.

The hotel's location is excellent and the room size is great by Paris standards … it even had a small closet to help us accommodate our things … great, was really nice as we stayed for 5 days. The metro is very close to the hotel and you can also walk from the hotel to various tourist attractions in Paris.

The elevator was very small but it wasn't a problem for us. You can choose to have your breakfast at the hotel, for an additional cost, but I don't recommend it! I think it's better to go out on the streets of Paris and have your coffee each day in a different cafe or boulamgerie-patisserie. Two of the best cafés in Paris are practically next door to the hotel: Café de Flore and Les Deux Magots.

The hotel was in an ideal location close to most Paris attractions. One could walk or take the convenient public transportation. Lots of restaurants closely. There is also a money changer store close by the hotel. Another convenience for tourists. The room was okay for one person. Bathroom was big. The breakfast place in the basement of the hotel is awesome including the food served. Cozy and clean, nice charm it has.

Only drawback I have is the bath tub is pretty tall. Difficult for an elderly person or people with back and leg issues to get in and out. Furthermore, there is no holding bar for support.

Location, beds comfortable, clean and quiet. Washroom and shower / tub fantastic. Soaked in hot bath many times after long days of walking. Used the minibar fridge to store food and the coffee maker frequently. It was hot out, ac silent and cool. Second floor room windows opened on to street. Some noise at night but quit early, by 10. Enjoyed before going to sleep having windows open, it’s part of being in the heart of paris. Having a night cap, looking out the window taking in paris. Windows newer and keep out sounds of the street. Miss it already, if we’re lucky will be back.

We were there for an extended stay (10 nights). A microwave would have been nice.

Great location just next to Luis Vuiton, famous Cafes, beautiful church of St German de Pres, La Seine, Louvre and Cite. We didn't like one of our rooms and it was changed next day.

The host has many cafes & restaurants around, you can hear noise from the street, especially in the late evening and in the early morning (garbage truck). Very small lift. When one of us moved in the bed, the other felt it. Although we travelled with childrena and made booking 2 months ahead, our rooms were 2 floors from each other. I believe it was enough time to arrange it better.

I really liked the room size and it was very clean. The facilities where great. The staff where the highlight of the stay they where lovely, helpful and welcoming. Location is amazing so close to many of the iconic touristy attractions in Paris. Felty very safe staying there.

The radiator leaked but was fine when speaking to the staff. The breakfast was overpriced and a little disappointing but the staff serving it was amazing. The room wasn't ready at the time asked for but was no issue. No disability access to top rooms.

Very central to everything. The staff were amazing always helpful. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was always fresh and a great choice.

The stairs were a killer! There was a lift for any disabled person thinking of using this hotel which was great for me but I was 1 person only as it was small . My husband walked up and down but great for his legs ... everything else was good no complaints at all.

Very comfortable room, great bathroom, comfortable beds, air conditioning was very welcome in the summer, excellent cleaning of the room, and excellent staff help and approachability.

It was difficult at times to enter the building, as they must buzz you in. It helps with security, but sometimes took a bit of time.

The room was clean and well appointed. Was nice to have a window that you can open - however we didn't open it too much as there were people smoking at the bottom and the smoke drifted up and we didn't want to get accused of smoking in the room. Bed was comfy and spacious. Breakfast was nice - croissants etc were lovely. Staff were very welcoming. The location is excellent- the river seine and the louver were only a 10-15 minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again. The lift was tiny - you can only get 2 large or three tiny people in it.
