The ReMIX Hotel

Check in staff were very helpful, the hotel was clean and modern and the breakfast was plentiful. This is a really nice hotel and has a lovely feel to it. It is really close to the metro station which is very handy. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel which is an easy option if you are not inclined to go out in the evening or if you've had a big day enjoying the sites of Paris.

The only thing I didn't like was the location which was very undesirable. While this doesn't reflect my stay at the hotel itself, it is unfortunately a big downfall especially as a young woman travelling on her own. It's such a shame as these problems in the area are recent as far as I know, but it will have an impact on this hotel and the businesses in the area. I didn't go anywhere else in the close vicinity of the hotel as it didn't feel safe, particularly at night. Fortunately there is good police presence at and around the very close metro station, but none on the train itself. I wouldn't stay in the current condition as a single woman or with young children. I hope things improve for the hotel.

About 20-25 minutes on metro to the city centre, the station is 100 meters from hotel. The hotel itself was clean and provided excellent value for money on the dates we stayed in late May.

The location of the hotel, or more the surroundings were not the most favourable. However, I would still recommend the hotel but more so for couples or groups as opposed to individual travellers.

The area has a large number of folks with alcohol and drug challenges, making it feel unsafe. Use only the metro station with the same name as the street of the hotel.

I had a great stay with the ReMix hotel. Staff are very helpful, and very polite. The cleaning ladies are very kind to change my towels once during my entire stay. The tub is really nice, heated water is working, bed is really great for sleeping, Chromecast works perfectly. I had a pleasant stay in my room, especially the lights in the hotel room were nicely curated, which is actually great for photos!

Maybe hearing some sounds from outside or the other rooms but it did not disturb my sleep so it is still fine. It just made me a little bit more self-conscious if I make the same amount of noise as well at some point since I do not want to annoy any other people staying at the hotel as well. Location also is nice but sometimes a bit scary at night because of the guys selling cigarettes near the metro station, but it is not their fault, of course.

Lovely clean, modern hotel. Away from the hustle & bustle of the city but some nice restaurants and cafes just outside - great food, friendly staff. Read reviews about the area beforehand but we found it to be very quiet, calm. A few homeless people sadly but there are lots all around Paris.

The hotel has small rooms but they are clean and new. There is a steakhouse next to the hotel and a groceries shop across the road . The hotel is basic, but good value for money. Metro is very closeby(150m, Line 7 direct to Opera) but beware, the area around the hotel is not the best.

The area around the hotel is not ideal. Porte de la Villette has a lot of poor people, some will approach you to ask for money. You'll often see police around.. Avoid the park, drugs and drunk people there. Just walk to the metro and back to the hotel.

Very nice vibe and friendly staff! Everything was clean too. Very close to a metro line. Amenities were also nice (gym room, soccer -and pingpongtable and the restaurant next door had some good veggie options despite being a steakhouse).

The chromecast was supposedly not working "all of a sudden" when we arrived but I don't think they even checked to fix it because it still didn't work when we left. The breakfast was pretty basic. If your room is on the side of the road jt can get a bit noisy in the evening and mornings.

Lovely clean hotel. Very close to the metro and really friendly staff too. Close to city centre and a lovely bakery just past the bridge too!!

The area itself felt very unsafe. When leaving the station we regularly saw groups of people huddling around the exist and streets. Felt very unsafe unfortunately. However we found the right exist which mean that we would run straight out onto the street and closer to the hotel so that was great!!

The room may be small but it was super comfortable and had everything you needed. Had the best nights sleep I'd had in a long time due to the soundproofing and blackout curtains. Great use of the space, even including a small seating area. LOVED the decor. Great facilities on site and would be a great way to meet others during busier periods. Other reviews say the area isn't great with lots of homeless people, but we didn't have a single issue. Right next to the metro station, very easy to get to main tourist areas.

Just a very minor thing and nothing against the hotel but as there didn't seem to be any convenient stores close by, it would be good if there was either a vending machine or somewhere to purchase small items in the hotel.

The room and the hotel were very clean and tidy, The housekeeper did a very good job with changing the towels and everything. The lobby had a few arcade games and other things to do which was nice. The hotel has a very cool style to it, Special design for the room cards, Some songs were written in many parts of the hotel which was nice to sing to. The rooms were small but well designed and the little space was well used. The hairdryer worked great. Each room had several USB's all around so you dont need any adapter to charge your phone. The price was the best we could find for a 4 star hotel.

The rooms didn't have fridges which were disclosures in the description but very lacking. The location of the hotel is good because it is close to the metro station but the neighborhood is very VERY bad! Homeless people kept begging for money right outside the hotel, We felt like going out or coming back from the metro station after 10pm was legit scary. The staff at the reception were mostly nice but could have been more patient with our needs and requests. The rooms were small but I think that's just how it goes in paris
